2013, Hadron Collider, EuropeThe various scientist continued to work at the various terminals as the Collider continue to do its work meshing particles and crushing. A man of German Descendant soon entered the main room which was busy at work like usual. His white lab coat could be seen as he sat down at his own terminal and everything was going on as usual. "Say boss, you think I can have the day off this friday?", one of the other scientist spoke in german to the Doctor. The older man afixed his classes and puts down his coffee then asks, "What for?" "The usual the wife has been nagging my about how I always missed our family time. So I am trying to make it up to her.", the other scientist soon replied. "Ah then so be it, what of the Collider?", the man soon asked. Another person of another European descent soon replies, "The usual the computer been processing everything but everything is going as well as it could." Of course without really knowing today itself was going to be a day of change, so much so no one even expected what was going to occur. When suddenly red light sounded as the Collider suddenly stopped out of nowhere. An Alarm sounded as everything on the computer screen began to go haywire, the Doctor got up as suddenly everything went dark. "What the...", one scientist soon stated as they got up. "What in the name of god is... that?!", the boss stated as a large light could be seen coming out of the collider. All was calm, all was being shown brightness from the light, then suddenly fire. An explosion rocked the Collider and soon the entire main building exploded into fire. When the dust settled the place where the main facility of the hadron collider was located was a crater. 1 Week Later"What in fuck could do such a thing?", one police officer stated as a lot yellow tape could be surrounding the entire area. Many workers were moving rumble trying to figure out what could of happened a week earlier. Scientist could be seen trying to make heads or tails but the readings themselves were unstable. "Whatever it is, I say it going the costs billions to get this place fixed. With sheer luck the entire collider shut down so no major causalities except those inside.", another police officer reported as the main boss threw his cigarette to the ground. "Well I just hope those nerd heads can figure this out soon, I am getting tired to tell the media how we don't know what happened yet!", the chief soon stated as soon a few black trucks came into view driving into the caution zone. "What in the god's name?!", the Chief soon stated as they all began to park and many men in black suits and sunglasses came out of the trucks. One of them was notable as he wore a very nice looking business suit what made him stand out was his face he was wearing a mask over it and a man with white lab coat was next to him who was also smoking. "This area is now under our jurisdiction now!!", the masked man stated giving a paper to the chief, during this many of the black suited men began to move the other workers away and began to make a parameter. "What?!! This is my case in my country!! Who the fuck are you!", the Chief soon stated throwing his cigarette away looking to the masked man. "Oh didn't get the memo? Due to the current Treaty this sort of situation falls under the Research International Science Agency. Please have your men and any information your father be given to us by the end of the day. Oh and just like I tell my associate, smoking is bad for one's health now good bye.", the man soon stated as he walked towards the crater. Leaving both of them behind the masked man turned to the scientist next to him and when out of ear shot says, "Make them all forget what they seen. So you think it was 'it'?" The scientist soon smirks then replies, "It got to be, what a mess this created." The masked man soon laughs as they continued to walk down the crater as they got closer to the center with him soon saying, "This is going to be troublesome." July, 17th 2025 Honolulu Dock
Trans Pacific Cruise Ship, St. GloriaThe Great Summer Breeze, the great feeling today was one of those great summer days. As many guests arrived into the dock began entering the cruise ship in droves, rich, poor it didn't matter if you got tickets for a vacation this was one of the newer cruise ships. Advance in all capabilities of entertainment on the high seas. Built with its own special pool, and as well the latest automation it only required a crew of 50 people to run, as well its own inter mall was built into the facility. One could see the flat screen television sets which were now thin as paper plastered on walls to make it discreet and look apart of the ship. Some would call the Saint Gloria a Cruise Ship in its prime. Of course it began its voyage three years ago it was considered one of the best cruises one's could get. Leaving Hawaii on a journey of discovery to the islands of Japan to the land of the Chinese, then heading around all of South East Asia on its trip. Then it would stop by Australia then come near South America on a two month long cruise to visit many places. Of course it would stop to nearby high end hotels all owned by the Albert Corporation who bought out of the Trans Pacific Cruise only five years prior. A Corporation which came out of nowhere no one expected the Albert Corporation to surpass even the Company of Steve Jobs, Apple as the largest and richest corporation on the planet. Guests would enter a main common room as they would meet before the cruise ship would head off on the tv screen would show a woman discussing possible activities on the ship. The Underwater VR experience as they would travel towards the new spa equipment said to give vitality to a wear body. Then of course the logo plastered all over the Albert Corporation and its own messaging playing. "Welcome aboard the greatest cruise line the world has ever seen! We the Albert Corporation hope that you our guests will travel on a mythical journey visiting far out reaching places and ruins of ancient times!! As well we give you the best entertainment that can be had on the high seas!! We hope our guests both rich and poor may enjoy this cruise as one special journey!! Make you all have a good time and great vacation! Albert Corporation, your destination for entertainment" On the bridge of the St. Gloria the Skipper who was overweight got up as all the guests were now on board. He turned to his first officer, a Indian man who nodded as soon states, "Cast off!!" Soon a great horn of the ship was sounded as the Cruise Ship left port and began its journey towards the great unknown. One Week Later on the High SeasPeople were in various parts of the ship outside a pool party was occurring for any people who wished to join, inside the ball room a dance was being carried out with wine and other drinks. Half of the crew were resting well the other half were currently working to keep the ship running. As well other activities, gambling, an small concert, etc were all occurring at the same time. On the bridge of this nice cool night the first officer was in charge well the skipper was sound asleep. He would soon sigh as he picked up some coffee, as took a good sip. "What a smooth sailing night.", the Indian soon stated until he heard a sound. "Uhh the monitor is picking something up in security room, seems the lights and cameras went out.", one of the men on the bridge reported to the first officer. "Oh? Lets see.", the First officer stated as he picked up his phone and dialed the security room. After many long beeps, no reply occured. "Weird, the phone is working but no one is replying. Say Scully go check out for me please, its probably a system error.", the First officer soon ordered in an Indian ascept. "Right on it First Officer Fred.", Scully a bald white man soon stated as he went towards the security room which was in the middle of the ship. Guests: 2500 Crew: 50

Gedeon was annoyed, ok he was always annoyed but even more so with this stupid princess who always would be a pain in his ass. Tamara was getting on his nerves again but what to expect? They been trapped in this world for well over a year and being with her didn't help in the matter. For one, how could this girl even live without her butler? There has been times temptation hit him but lately he has gotten used to it.
"GAHH YOU PERVERT!!", the door shut in his face.
Ok, maybe it was still working on him, how did he get in this situation again? Oh right now he remembered now it all started off like any other mission. Protect the Girl teleport back and job done. But no instead that magic teleportation turned into magic portal which threw him to some place called Los Angeles, by the way if it wasn't for some Italian Mobster who was in town he probably would of had dozen of bullet goals in his body now. Though that belonged for another story, now well now this so called vacation that the spoiled princess begged him for? Well it costed a ton and a lot of cases later they managed to get here. Sometimes he wondered if their under cover relationship of PI and Assistant is turning into spoiled brat and man servant. Oh speaking of that the door finally opened to reveal the girl in question who finally finished dressing in some attire he completely stared at.
"What you looking at?", Tamara soon stated as she blushed a little as he continuously stared at her.
"What the hell is that?", Gedeon managed to ask when he finally got himself going again.
"Its what they call Concert Cloths. For I will be heading to the concert you know!!", Tamara soon revealed as she moved her hand and did a weird pose he didn't even get.
"Your enjoying this world too much you know.", Gedeon soon stated in a dead panned voice.
"Why you.... and who's fault is that!!", Tamara soon screamed out as they both began to walk the hall way out of through to a near by glass elevator which showed the center of the ship with the shopping mall and the first place most visitors went when they arrived on this ship.
"Well I could say the turn of the moon was wrong, but can't blame the moon unless you really want to piss off the Goddess Selene. But it was perfect night, so I would normally teleport all fine maybe it was the extra baggage I had.", Gedeon soon pointed out which got him a very hard slap.
"Seriously... why did I get stuck here with you for a whole year. Your worse then my old butler!! Hmph!", Tamara soon stated as a fact but then went silent which she remember what happened before.
Both were silent well the elevator went down which Gedeon soon comments, "You know that clothing doesn't look bad on you."
Tamara blushed red again but turned away from the older man which she replies, "Thanks."
Strange turns these two have gone through from another world to here now. What to make the matters even worse they couldn't use magic, that is what a struggle it was for two used to it. Now in this world without magic how they survived was a miracle and chance meetings. Now on this cruise Gedeon truly only came here for one reason and that was due to this princess wished for a vacation and watching television doesn't help. Still he felt he needed a break and so did she after so much dead ends the worst they ran into were goblins. Still no way back, and who knows when will they get the next chance. Well soon the elevator door opened into the main area which both stops, "Remember once concert is done I will be at the gambling hall."
"Yes I get your only going for information like always.", Tamara soon stated but Gedeon felt she was hiding something which she didn't reveal.
"Alright, well see ya later.", Gedeon stated as he left leaving Tamara to her learn lonesome who mutters, "Idiot your suppose to come with me to the concert..."
Gedeon would continue towards the hallways passing guests who nodded as soon he entered the gambling hall he noticed various people rich and poor. The Sound of machines were ringing to his ears and soon saw a bar not too far which had many people sitting and drinking. There was one thing he liked about this world, that the old one did was have good alcoholic drinks. He had a high tolerance compared to most people of that world here he remember he shocked one barkeep when he drank over 100 glasses the hardest liquor without even feeling tipsy. He would soon come up to a chair then seats down soon stating, "Brandy Please."

Alejandro stood among a group of people in a gambling area. He looked like he belonged wit them. A casual smile and a few exchanged words is all it took. Subtly his eyes glanced over the man he was there to fix. Unfortunately he had a young woman in his company for the last half hour. Patience, it is more important than any of his other skills. It now offered him an opportunity, the young lady was finally heading off. Likely the restroom, she'd been downing shots like they were candy.
Detaching himself from the group with ease, his steps took him over by the man now seated alone. Casually he took the seat in front of him.
"Mister Comtruise. I have an offer for you," Alejandro said loud enough for him to hear. Then leaned forward, his palm down on the table. Beneath his palm sat a fat envelope. "Her parents would like you to stop seeing her."
The man looked perturbed at first. But scratched his chin upon seeing the thickness of the envelope.
"How much?" Mr Comtruise inquired.
"12k. Just for you to walk away," Alejandro said simply.
Comtruise considered it, eyeing Alejandro. For a moment it seemed like he would be reasonable. But then he laughed out loud. Casually getting up, he drank his shot, then walked away. An experienced predator of young woman he may be. But apparently he failed to see Alejandro's capacity for violence.
***
Alejandro casually strolled through the hall of the guest cabins. He looked like he belonged. A decent suit and clean cut. A ring and fancy enough wrist watch. It was a few minutes before he reached room "301". Casting a glance both sides of the hallway, he leaned forward, listening for sounds inside. Not hearing any of the telltale signs of activity, he inserted a card into the electric door slot. The card was connected to an electronic device he had rigged especially for jobs like this. It took a few tense moments, but it managed to break the code and allow him entry.
Inside, the room was indeed empty. From the looks of the bed, the inhabitants hadn't yet settled in. Their bags lay upon a small table, opened, but still looked organized. Casually he went about searching the contents. Aside from the essentials, he found a few unmarked bags of various drugs. Most looked recreational. Content with what he found there, he headed to the bathroom. It was clean.
Patience again.
It took an hour. But the man and the young woman returned to the room. They were all over each other. Clearly the young lady enjoyed the man's company. However her parents didn't want their debutante daughter running around with a man whose record included drug and assault charges.
Alejandro stood in the bathroom with the lights off. It seemed they would not be using it. He had to sit through their entire session of love making. After which the man casually went into the bathroom. He didn't notice Alejandro until his hand was on his neck and the needle was pushing the drugs into his neck. The man began convulsing, but he restrained him. Carefully lowering him to the ground when the convulsions lessened.
Calmly he walked into the cabin. The young lady was laying on her side away from him. Clearing his throat, she turned around slowly.
"Miss Miseck, before you start screaming. I was sent here by your parents. It seems your new boyfriend's pension for heroine has led to an overdose. Unless you want to end up under suspicion, I suggest you take this cabin key and stay secluded there until the end of the cruise," Alejandro explained in a curt tone. He hoped his expression conveyed his no nonsense nature.
She looked stunned, her eyes falling to the folds of the sheets she held to her. Alejandro snapped his fingers in front of her. She looked up, still a bit stunned, but the clockwork seemed to have kicked in. Quickly she got her clothed and dressed. Evidently not ashamed to do so with him watching. Once dressed, she snatched the card from his hand and left without a further word.
Carefully Alejandro cleaned the room of any trace of her presence. Then he made to return to his own cabin.

Dieter Gerhardt and several of his associates were on this cruise for a number of reasons. The primary one was the clandestine smuggling of a few artifacts across the border. This company catered to the rich and classy, many of whom had similar ideas...although the things they were moving were decidedly more mundane. Gold and jewels, that kind of thing. In the Knights' possession were some things of a rather more esoteric nature that they wanted to have kept off the books. It was better for everyone that way. In short, the port authority wouldn't want to touch this thing with a 10 foot pole and they had planned to exploit that for their own purposes. Why not? Moving in the wake of others, so to speak, was always a fine way to conceal your own movements.
The secondary reason was that a lot of them had been working hard with no vacation, and Dieter saw this as an excellent way to let the men relax while still keeping the workaholics happy.
'Two birds with one stone.' He thought to himself with a smile. He stood on the deck, leaning casually against the guard rail and watching as the stars passed them by. It'd been about a week since they left port, and all told, it had been fairly pleasant.
Yet, he couldn't help but feel that something bad was about to happen. Call it a hunch. It had his men rather antsy, so he let them assuage their concerns by staying together with the goods in their shared cabins. Dieter wasn't so skittish, so he didn't remain with them. The reason he wouldn't tell them was that he was really out here so that he could face the danger first, if need be. Ever the valiant one, he would rather confront the unknown head on and spare his friends if he could do so.
That was part of why people looked up to him. Once, a long time ago, he was content to lead from the back. He had to, he had many more people under his command back then. Well, that didn't end well for him. But just the same, he preferred doing things this way. Getting to know everyone by their name and not just number and rank. And as well, he never wanted to repeat what had happened before. He wouldn't let it, even if it meant physically putting himself in the way of whatever fate put ahead of them.
Mr. Gerhardt was dressed in a classy manner. Finely cut slacks and double-breasted dress shirt of charcoal grey, all with bronze buttons. As the night and sea breeze grew chilly he had thrown on a sport coat over that, left to hang open and flow with the winds as they passed him by. Although normally sporting shades, they weren't needed at night, so they were pushed to his forehead and left out of the way. They almost seemed to merge with his hair, black but starting to become mottled with grey. Dieter was aging gracefully, the streaks of silver adding to his masculine appearance rather than subtracting from it.
The front deck was mostly secluded by now, most of the other passengers were either dancing at the ball or wasting their money on booze and gambling. But for the explorer, this was a better way to spend time.

It wasn't the first time James went on a cruise, but he rarely take a long vacation like this that lasts for weeks. But someone from one of the publishing companies gave him the ticket for free, so he may as well take the opportunity to take a break after that last trip in Central America, at least he's pretty sure he don't want to be so close to mother nature for a while.
But a few days into the trip he started to regret it. Not that he didn't want the vacation, but it was so boring here on the ship. You get to see movies, eat a few meals, maybe relax in the swimming pool or gym... but it wasn't something he enjoy doing over and over again. He got tired of doing all of those things, so instead he just take strolls around the ship, thinking of his latest researches or the notes to write. However if one thing on this cruise that caught his interest the most would be the ladies on board, for once he didn't mind the scorching sun that cause them to choose more revealing clothes.
Today, he decides to go up to the main deck. Earlier he thought about some ideas on myths about the sea, and how they're related to Asian religions. Perhaps their close relation with the sea have connections with their faith? He goes on to compare the difference between the Japanese myths and those of the British Isles who share some similarity in their terrains, and began writing some notes down before noticing someone familiar.
"Hm...? Aren't that..."
Placing his notes back in his pockets, he gets up from his seat and heads over to the familiar figure, someone that he didn't expect to see at a calm and relaxing place like this.
"Why, it's been a while, Mr. Gerhardt. Sure didn't expect to see you here, considering that I seems to meet you at the strangest places. On vacation I suppose? Not a bad idea to relax a bit once in a while, won't want to let the stress build up at the worse moment."
The two had met before during an excavation of a city ruin, it ended up being a series of problems that took a lot of effort to solve, but they both got what they wanted so it was considered a success if a bit dangerous. After learning of the other man's identity, he thought that it won't be a bad idea to make friends, at least Dieter seems to have both power and personal ability. Though, whenever they met, James have the feeling that he know the man from somewhere other than their past encounters, however he never could put his finger on it, and it remains a question at the back of his head.

The clear night over the skied the stars could be seen, for the two men who were aquintences would meet on this nice and gentle air. For they would secluded from many others though the music hanged from a near distance as the concert began with cheers and celebration. Though in silence was there one would notice nothing but the ocean waves. As their discussion would continue soon foot steps struggled to move around. If James and Dieter notice struggling off to a side a crew member would soon whisper, "Help... i*cough* t*cough* killed them all!"
Then would collapse on the ground as he would bleed profusely.

Scully moved down into the security room as he continue towards it he would pass a man with peculiar look. He simply nodded a smile to Alejandro as he passed him and would continue through as he turned toward another elevator which lead him to the section he wanted. As he entered the floor first thing he notice weird was the lights on the floor were flickering. What made it more weird how silent the area was and how old it felt.
"What the hell...", Scully soon stated as he grabbed his flash light from his belt.
Turning it on to help see he noticed everything looked normal just lights acting weirdly. What made it weirder was this normally didn't happen especially how everything was kept on top shape on St. Gloria. He continued to walk down the hall soon commenting, "Someone back at Port seriously fucked up. Well, I better tell the captain later."
When arriving to one door he put in a key which unlocked into another section of the ship. When entering he noticed something completely odd. One it felt deathly chill, and completelt pitch dark.
"What the hell.", Scully commented as he headed towards the security room.
Looking around he felt something unnatural about the hall heading toward the security room. When he arrived he noticed something odd, the security room door was adjour.
"What the- ok this is completely weird.", Scully soon stated as he opened the door flashing the light all he was saw all computer screens broken. What made it more shocking was the various dead bodies of crew members apart of the security team were all in, pieces literal pieces.
Scully was so shocked he was unable to move, he didn't believe what he was saying until he turned to see a shadow move. He quickly took out his pistol as his hand shook, until he saw it and he soon screamed in about terror. Instead of shooting he ran, ran so hard his legs would pushing them selves toward the door as he rushed towards it he pushed it opened. Whatever 'it' was, it chased him very hard until he found a nearby elevator which he got in and closed.
"What the hell.. what the hell!!", Scully stated as suddenly he felt it above.
Looking up he soon screamed and fired his gun and terror could only be heard from the elevator.
______________________________
Within the gambling arena the various people would still be having a good time. For those here all seemed like everything was going well. For anyone who would come back not much changed as the happy hour just got started. Soon as this was occuring a man would run into the gambling arena screaming which would get all those up from their seats in wonderment. The man before them was bleeding and have a look of terror in his face he had a crew uniform on which could be noted.
"Their all-!! It's coming!! It's coming!!", the crew member would scream.
Of course if someone would notice the crew member eerily looked like Scully. Suddenly the ship would rock ad it went into full stop and the computers began to go haywire within the gambling hall. Screams could be heard through the ship as suddenly the entire cruise ship of St. Gloria came to a complete stop.

Gedeon was enjoying his 19th glass of brandy and was eating those little nuts usually available at bars. He continued to watch as various people continued to gamble until he heard a scream. Turning around he noticed a crew member ran into the gambling arena like a mad man. He was bleeding heavily and raving like a mad man. Gedeon noticed the bar keep soon running toward the man soon shouting,"Scully what the hell happened!"
The gambling stopped on its tracks as the bar keep helped Scully up and trying to stop the bleeding.
"It*cough* got*cough* and *cough* mmmmmmmee!", Scully struggled to say which Gedeon stopped and look at Scully and his eyes.
Gedeon watched everything the way he acted the way he moved. It not only looked familar but it completely stopped him in his tracks. It couldn't be could it? But if this is true then, it can't! Gedeon moved closer to look but moment he saw his eyes and that greenish glow.
"Get away from him now!!", Gedeon soon shouts only to be thrown into the floor as the ship suddenly stopped hard for all on aboard.
Being thrown hard and suddenly lights flickered off in the gambling arena and the gambling machines began to shake and go haywire. Screams could be heard as finally the boat stopped and the shaking too. Everything was a daze too until he managed to get up and only hear a scream as something was crunching that sounded like bone being crushed. Gedeon recognize that type of crunching and though it was dark he could make out that all too familiar glow.
"Fuck!! A fucking ghoul!!", Gedeon sounded as he saw a nearby chair and got him self up.
The bar keep was screaming the entire time as blood was be splattered all over the floor. When others noticed many people simply got up and ran out the door as fast as they could.
During this Gedeon soon curses then yells,"Don't run!! Your only going to to attract it!!"
Just as he stated the ghoul soon got up and threw itself into the crowd of running people. Gedeon knew Ghouls actually had a form of magic to move and turn into a stronger being back in Imaginary Macrosm. Here no one knew how to deal with them and if there was a Ghoul here meant only one thing, and if it was the case the entire situation went from manageable to now into practically impossible.
The screams and blood could be seen as the ghoul teared into the mass of people as he simply crushed it's way through and blood being spilt all over. Gedeon had to act, and soon rushed towards the bar and began to look for anything for this situation.

Alejandro was making his way to his cabin when he heard the ruckus. Something about a zombie or the like. Which was crazy, likely just a joke. He ignored it, arriving at his cabin. Once inside, he went about discarding the clothes that he had worn. Replacing the clothing with a more subdued look that included a black jacket.
Taking out his laptop from his baggage. He quickly booted up the program that would connect him with his broker. After sending the assignment completed phrase, he received a code word for payments made in full. Carefully he placed the laptop in a thick satchel. Placing it about himself, he grabbed his bag and started out of the cabin once more.
He could still hear the commotion from before. But it wasn't his problem yet.

Gerhardt looked up with surprise as he heard his name being called. He didn't recognize the voice at first, but it clicked just a second before his eyes fell upon the person whom it belonged to. A wide smile came to his face, and he immediately extended a hand to shake without hesitation.
"Doctor Gransela, it's been too long." He said, and if his hand was taken, the grip was firm but not overpowering. In either case it'd return to gripping the guard rail for support as he shifted his weight, turning to face James completely. He went on to make a joke. "Even I'd go crazy if I never left the jungles and back countries once in a while. A break now and then is good for you, I'd dare to say you would be wise to remember that yourself."
Although it had been awhile ago since they last met, Dieter had a pretty good memory for interesting people. They had happened to run into each other on an expedition and managed to help one another. It was a very intriguing turn of events. What's more, the man had some fascinating ideas on the world.
"What about you? Vacation, or looking for muses for your next book? I read the last one, you know. You're really making a lot of people in the scientific community angry with your 'insane ramblings'." Dieter began, laughing to himself. "I say good on you. They could do to try and look outside of their narrow fields of vision once and awhile."
But before their conversation could turn into anything more depthy, they were interrupted by a member of the crew asking for help. Casting a glance in his direction almost immediately made the man's eyes bug when he saw the blood. Gerhardt pushed himself off the railing, already moving to help the man. When he got there, he crouched over him and felt their neck. No pulse, he cursed silently from it. Careful eyes immediately scanned the body. Blood everywhere.
"Well doctor, it seems your notion about our places of meeting is correct after all. It looks like someone took a sword to this man, these wounds are far too deep to have been caused by a knife." Gerhardt pointed out. He stood up summarily, there was nothing more that could be done for the crewman now. His eyes shifted back to the doors leading into the gambling hall, where more screams were coming from just as the ship rocked and came to a complete stop in the middle of the sea.
Sighing heavily, Dieter reached into the pockets of his outer coat and pulled some heavy looking gloves out, which he quickly donned. The new leather creaked in complaint as he made a fist, teeth one more showing as he smiled to the doctor beside him. After that he pulled out the phone previously tucked under them and barked a few terse commands into it in German. It was shoved back in the moment he was done with it.
"I get the feeling someone here thinks we're his victims, doctor. I also get the feeling that this someone has bit off more than he could chew by picking this particular vessel to attack." It seems that adventurer hadn't changed much since they last worked together.

Returning the handshake he chuckled a bit at the joke and the remark about the scientific community. It's true, at times those experienced scientists just refuse to believe there are more things to discover than those that are already set in place, as if they are the only ones that are allowed to discover or invent things and no others.
"I got a ticket laying around, thought I may as well use take a break. Though, a few days on this ship had me thinking of it was a ploy to keep me away from challenging their authorities. Just like the time when..."
He was cut off by the sudden appearance of the crew, who seems to need more than just a hand with the looks of it. He quickly followed his companion's example and head over to take a look, however he was not as skilled in first aid as his friend were, so he tries to analyze what might have happened. From the look of the wounds, it seems like the man was attacked by bites and scratches, perhaps a wild animal got aboard and was somehow loose?
"Looks like that one time when one of my crew got attacked by a beast, too small to be a tiger... maybe something the size of a wild cat?"
But his guess was proven otherwise from Dieter's reply, looks like it wasn't just a random accident, but more of an incident caused by someone. Following the injured crew were a group of passengers, who were escaping from the gambling hall. Noticing one of them were a fine lady that he enjoyed dinner with the other night, he goes over to get some information from her, only to be told that some monster is inside the hall. Before he could further wonder about her words, the ship suddenly rocks, causing much of the passengers to fall. He himself managed to hold on to the ship and avoid falling, before recovering and looking back at Dieter.
"Well Mr. Gerhardt, perhaps this trip wasn't as boring as I expected it to be after all. Whatever it is, it would surely be an interesting happening that I could get some good records on, how about we go take a look at this 'zombie' that she mentioned. Not that we could go anywhere else with the ship like this."
He gives the woman a hand to pick her back up on her feet, before turning towards the source of all these trouble. He's not armed, but he's been in worse danger than this, so he wasn't too worried about this 'monster' that the woman mentioned. As danger as whatever this is might be, it can't be more dangerous than mother nature's wrath. Deciding on that, he heads over and push open the doors to the gambling hall to see what's going on.

With the ship at a full stop, everyone from all parts of the ship fell to the ground or other items fell broken. Of course in other parts of the ship not effected or know what is going gone would be baffled as the ship suddenly stopping. Within the Gambling Hall proper most people managed to escape well a few were now a bloody mess. The Barkeep who managed to stay alive soon managed to get back to his bar and grabbed his shot gun, he began to aim it and fired only to miss. Scully moved quickly and swapped the shot gun away as he finished him off. The Shot Gun would then drop near where Gedeon was, who would be able to use it. Scully's eyes now glowing even brighter green glow which alone told much about this being unnatural as well increased in strength suddenly.
It soon turned and notice most people were away but noticed a group of younger people who were stuck due to the sudden stop trying to get away. Three Men were trying to help the woman who was stuck until they noticed the ghoul coming for them. Picking up chairs they tried to fight back only for it to crush the metal end of the chair like it was nothing. Almost super human it soon came up to one man and broke his neck with his palm so easily. Then other tried to help him for for him to be thrown head into a gambling machine which crushed his head blood came out as his brain was no longer functional. The last man simply gave up and tried to run only for the ghoul to take the chair that was used against it and threw it hard against the other man's head which snap his neck. The Ghoul finally turned to the two women as it was going to prepare for a fest as they both screamed.

At other parts of the ship people would be getting up in wonderment at the pool party the concert would suddenly stop as Tamara would notice the musicians soon stating to keep calm. in the Dancing hall the dancers also all got got up, one was unfortunately crushed by a table out right killing them. In the various hallways anyone not at any events would be wondering what was going on as the lights would begin to flicker at the sudden stop and suddenly back to normal. On the bridge the First Officer Fred got up from his post and picked up the phone, hoping to get in contact with the engine room.
"What the actual fuck? Engine Room Respond!! What the hell is going here?! First the Security Room and now the engine room? Where the actual fuck is Scully?! Don't tell me we been boarded!!", Fred stated in his Indian accent in fury.
Just then a knock came to the bridge which he turns, he noticed a man came in which he looked pale.
"Skipper? What is going on? Skipper?", Fred soon asked and suddenly the door of the bridge closed.
If anyone would notice a scream could be heard but was muffled coming from the bridge.

During this some of the few crew members would pass Alejandro in some panic trying to get to the bridge. If he continued away he would notice a chill within the area he was in and the sudden mist which would begin to form in the hallway. The light in the hallway would begin to flicker quite violently as well.

As the people would be exiting out of the gambling Hall James and Dieter would would notice a fight occurring then hear shot gun shots from the hall. Upon arrival they would take notice of the situation occurring, in the hall and could come up to the situation. One thing that could be noted the hall looked like a disaster with blood dead bodies and one distinctive chill within the room. A Slow like mists could be seen in the area then suddenly the mist began to clear well all the lights and gambling machines went haywire then stops. Without knowing what was occurring through the ship much of these strange occurrences were happening across the ship.

Gedeon managed to notice the shot gun being thrown near him who soon jumped to get it. He took notice where Scully was killing a few men and ran over he would soon took aim and fired it a few times until Scully finally hit the ground unable to move. Gedeon knew this would work at least but it would only be temporary, back in Imaginary Macrosm, you would mutilate the Ghoul so it wouldn't be able to move. The Moment the Shade leaves the body one would use magic from the group to finish it off. Standard procedure, good portion of Mage Knights dealt with many magical things and Ghouls and Shade Necromancer's were no exception, just harder to kill.
Taking a good breath he looked at the two survivors and soon asks, "You two alright?"
Both would nod as he noticed one girl's leg who was stuck which he soon says, "Alright, lets get you out of this and out of here."
Putting shot gun down for but a mere moment he soon picked up the table on top which allowed the girl to move her leg out. When both were up they soon left leaving Gedeon alone for a moment. He turned around to take a look at the damage and sighs, "Great, of all the fucking things in here... it had to that."
The chilling mist began to form within the room which meant the shade was going to exit out of the body soon. The biggest issue? No way in killing it so it would mean he would have to allow it to escape. They tended to hate light so they would use mists to hide themselves, which would pose a problem. For moments he looked around not noticing the two new arrivals and if they called him he ignored it, it was until a familiar voice he finally answers back.

At the concert hall Tamara managed to get up and looked around in a daze. Hearing that concert being stopped and cancelled they noticed the ship was fully stopped. Tamara looked around as it all was calm and quiet strangely. Without much thought she soon began to leave to head towards Gedeon, best option in this situation after all. When she began to walk away from the concert hall she would soon stopped as she began to feel a great chill pass by her which she quickly turned around and saw nothing. She was now on edge, and promptly running towards the gambling hall at full sprint. When she finally got to the area she what just occurred and noticed the two other men arriving right before her. Not waiting to hear them or anything first thing she yells over to Gedeon, "Ok what the hell happened."
Gedeon who finally took notice of the two other men in the room soon says, "Well, you missed the party."
Well he stated this he got the shot gun and looked at the nearby bar area to see if there was any more shells, as he used all the bullets within the shot gun. On closer inspection he soon saw a single case with only up to 32 Shot gun shells. Not enough to take on an army but better then nothing.
"Gedeon stop ignoring me and we got others here.", Tamara finally stated as Gedeon soon jumped right back over the bar then turned to James and Dieter.
"Seriously Princess, have mercy I just had a little competition with an undead and need some brandy.", Gedeon soon stated as he got the bottle of brandy and drank the whole bottle like nothing.
"This is why, I didn't spend the evening with you.", Tamara stated as she turned to the two gentlemen.
Suddenly the chill in the room left and the mist soon moved through the vents away from the gambling hall. The Lights flickered and the gambling machines went haywire then suddenly everything looked normal.
"Fuck... it got away.", Gedeon admitted as he walked up to the two men before him.
Gedeon walked casually to to the three as there was no one else in the room but them.
"So who are you two?", Gedeon soon asked as he looked a both gentlemen, which he notice one had leather like gloves on.
"Gedeon... why do I got to be the one who does the talking.", Tamara soon stated then turns to the pair soon beginning her introduction, "My name is Tamara Asheborne, I am this... this drunk pervert's assistant. And the idiot is Gedeon Salvator, a Private Detective."
With Introductions out of the way she would wait for their own introduction well, Gedeon soon comments, "We don't got time for this, if what I think what we saw is exactly is what I think it is. Then we got a few choices and most importantly find 'it'. Before this entire ship turns into Hungarica a few centuries ago."
"Gedeon they wouldn't understand, and stop referencing history that wouldn't be known either!!", Tamara soon stated.

Gerhardt lead the way of their pair, and he stepped up the pace of his steps upon hearing gunshots and screams. The man didn't know that they let guns on this ship, they certainly had to try hard to smuggle theirs, so that meant that either there was an attack by pirates, or the security forces had broken out the big guns. These seas were glassy, they'd see pirates off for miles, so he assumed it was the latter. The entire way they saw death, blood, and machines that seemed to all be on the fritz together. That last one really had Dieter raising an eyebrow, and he pointed it out to James.
"Do you see this? What could do this, some kind of EMP? It would explain why the ship stopped, but who could have done such a thing?" He said in speculation. Usually, EMP's came coupled with atomics...but once again, even a small yield tritium bomb would be so obvious even a blind man could see it. Something wasn't adding up, and he didn't like it.
More of the same when they got to the gambling hall, only here there seemed to be a few people still alive. A man holding a still-smoking gun, and a woman. Dieter watched both as they spoke amongst themselves about some things he didn't understand, and that was really saying something. This guy had heard a lot of things at least once in his globetrotting. Suffice to say, the adventurer kept a stoic expression when the younger of the pair introduced both of them.
"Good evening, sir and ma'am'. It's nice to meet you both. I'm Dieter Gerhardt." He replied, but didn't move to shake any hands this time. In fact, he kept his fists closed and raised as if he were prepared to strike quickly if it came to it.
"What I'd like you to tell me right now, is what in God's name just happened here." The bespectacled member of the pair commanded. He nodded towards the dead bodies, and then his eyes swiveled to Gedeon and his gun. "From here, it looks like you just killed these people. Now, I noticed the damage is too wide spread to have been caused by one man...but it doesn't mean you don't have accomplices. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt considering the...unusual circumstances. But I hope you understand my position in not shaking your hand and immediately trusting the friendly face on display."
Dieter spoke with calmness despite the situation. James would know why, too, this guy was a lot more dangerous than he looked. Even unarmed, he had once broke a man's skull with a single punch back in the ruins they had met in. Those gloves of his were lined with lead, and there was plenty of muscle behind that metal, too.
"So, what happened, and what is this 'it'? I presume you're going to tell me 'it' is what caused this entire ship to stall, and killed all of these people?" By rights, this was better than Gedeon could have hoped for in a situation like this. Anyone else would be screaming that he was a murderer. By extreme fortune, he was met by an open-minded skeptic. In fact, there was something peculiar about the suited gentleman that he couldn't put his finger on. But it felt familiar, yet foreign...

"I'm also wondering why would they fry the ship. Even if they're here to rob or kill everyone it's definitely not a worthwhile way to stop the ship. These corpses seems to have similar wounds as the sailor we saw on the deck too, possibly done by the same being. I'd be careful of the corners, whatever it is might jump us, and if it can tear people apart I don't think we'll last too long either."
However his original guess of this whole incident was caused by wild animals doesn't seem to add up, wild animals definitely don't try to attack machines, nor do they randomly attack everything they see. There wasn't any gunshot wounds either, so a firefight was out of the picture.
The two came in just after Gedeon left, leaving a bunch of people wounded and in panic, along with the strange mist that's coming out of the corpse that's laying on the ground. If this thing is really a zombie then something like that shouldn't happen, in fact if it's zombie than it should be no different from a regular human. A zombie by traditional sense is a regular human that is under the control of a voodoo shaman, using means such as poison and hypnosis to rob them of their sense, and direct them to carry out simple acts. A zombie like that might be able to resist pain, but definitely not something that can tear people apart with their bare hands, or take several shotgun shells before dying.
Looking around carefully to see if there are anymore of these creatures, he decides to head over to see what's with this corpse. It looks like one of the sailors on board, saw the guy several times before during this trip, and the guy sure didn't seem like he's under a trance or taking any illegal substance. The body itself looks pretty tough and stiff, so it is definitely not a fresh corpse. While checking up on the body he also notice that strange mist coming out of the body, for a moment he turns away, thinking it's some sort of gas but it doesn't seem to be poisonous or anything.
"....This is not a zombie, for one the guy's not a corpse, I saw him earlier today. He also took way much damage than a living person could possible do, so he's not under control either. Going by legends, zombies are raised from corpses if we go by Haitian legends, or are drugged men being commanded by voodoo practitioners to do simple biding. Feels more like a ghoul, but we're not exactly in a desert either. Feels kind of like a Norse Berserker, but that won't cause stiffness to the corpse..."
This is definitely not something you see every day, which means his knowledge could be applied here. At least it gives him more hint on what this thing might be, but he decides not to share it in case it causes panicking to the rest of the passengers.
"Looks like something similar to one of my trips in South East Asia, where the local folks claim evil spirits can get into the body of the unclean, and suddenly attack others without any warning. Of course it's just a guess, but if it's true then whatever it is that controls the body might still be alive."
After a quick look and a guess of his own, he follows Dieter and heads over to the concern room. The man with a shotgun in his hands is definitely not a safe sight to behold, if anything the guy feels more like a terrorist responsible for the damages. However he's not one to argue with the armed man, he's a researcher, not a soldier. However Dieter seems to be fine with going up to start the conversation, and he's perfectly fine with that as long as he's not the one in front.
"And I'm James Gransela, fairly famous in some parts of the world, perhaps you might have heard of me before from my latest book the 'Existences and Imaginations.'"
He then let Dieter do the talking, however he kept in mind about the man's mention of Hungarica. Guessing that he was talking about Hungary, he tries to place some pieces together, but with no real result. He just can't figure out why might a berserker ghoul be related to Hungary. He thought about Guta, a Hungarian demon that beats its victim to death, but it doesn't seem to match what happened here.
"Perhaps you can explain a bit more about what happen here, after you drop your weapon. You'll have to forgive me, but I don't really want to have a conversation, while the other side is holding a loaded firearm. I'm not armed, so neither should you."
He waves his hand before him to prove that, however he said nothing about Dieter, and he wisely chose to avoid any mentions of him.

Alejandro steps drew him closer toward the bridge. His head low and his gaze sharp as he walked the now darkened hallway. The crescendo of noise had changed. The tune was no longer a playful one. There was violence afoot here. With the ship stopped, he would have to get to the bottom of it or find another way off this ship.
With the tip of his booted foot, he slowly opened the bridge door that sat slightly ajar. The smell of blood assailed his nose. Raising the cold steel, he pushed in further, wondering what scene of the macabre might greet him. Instinctively his other hand reached for the tomahawk under his coat.
