It was a good idea to go through the windows, at least it brought everyone back to the ship... just to be sent to another place. This time they seems to be in some place of extreme heights, a rough measurement gives him much more than a few kilometers off the ground, and he's feeling more and just a bit of chill from the cold air from being in such a height.
"Oh? So this is your version of that tower? Generally from a more neutral prospective, I always thought it was a shame that the Abrahamic God were unable to accept his followers for trying to reach out to him. Think of how the world would be like if he didn't got angry and washed away the tower, we could have shared a single language. And like God have said himself, we would be able to achieve anything... well, I suppose we still managed to do it even with our differences."
When their target finally appeared, James was slightly surprised at who he saw. Although he did not have much knowledge off his memories about the person in front of him, he seem to recognize him as the German occult and physician Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa. James read a few of his books for research materials before, but it was his philosophy and science work that had much more influence in history, affecting great minds like Rene Descartes and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. However the being that shares the same name as that great thinker is now their enemy, one that is likely targeting their lives, so there is little to do other than facing him in combat.
"Tower of Babel... and Cornelius. You'd think that we would be standing before Cornelius the Centurion, being of more relations to the faith. But instead we got Mr. Agrippa... Look, Beezlebub I could still understand, formerly being Ba'al before he was forcefully warped into his current image by the Christians; but why on Earth, would you want to serve a giant octopus that would bring you to insanity on sight? The only ones that are suppose to worship him, are the Deep Ones, and they're not even human! And you're even trying to do it on the ship where it is perfect for a ritual like that, with water surrounding us. Instead you decide to come all the way in the middle of no where, at the top of a tower that is measured by kilometers, and standing on the top of it away from any visible sight of water!"
He was ranting about all these cultural conflicts, going on and on about all these points that he felt was wrong. At least so far his theories about magic has been correct, and then suddenly some guy appears and does all the opposite, which is pretty annoying to a researcher.
"And you! Do you have no pride as a human being? We humans have walked with our own legs, grabbed tools with our own hands, and make use of our intelligence to develop our histories. At times we work with others, at times we devour others, but we remained humans no matter what. Now you're bowing to existences that we helped form? Do you have no shame?! Powerful or not, if you're a man then you should have died trying to obtain freedom, show some of that ambition of a living being! If not then you don't deserve to be anything, but a hamster in a cage!"
It was quite different from his image before, but Agrippa won't know that. Dieter who had worked with him however, would clearly notice that James was doing it to distract the necromancer. Insults, direct conflicts with ideals and religions, ways to keep the conversation and attention of his target on himself.
"A hamster like you, should remain in your cages like the pet that you are, until the day that you are struck down by those very 'lords' that you served. Mean while, the rest of us, would prefer to live as humans. Farewell Mr. Agrippa, I liked your writings, provided that you know about your identity over here in our world."
And he watches, as Dieter took the opportunity, to bring the holy lance into the undead writer.

As Cornelius was answering all questions, he soon chuckles at the fertility of resisting him. When he turned to see Dieter speak he soon responds,"Do you all understand the futility of your resistance?! Soon your wo-"
Suddenly with the spear of destiny was revealed only to be thrown towards him, he was quick to respond with three of his books soon formed a barrier to protect himself.
"What... how... my barrier it's breaking?!", Cornelius soon managed to shout as the spear of destiny soon broke through his barrier and hit I'm directly.
Suddenly his own shape began to disintegrate, his own body slowly disappear as the holy weapon which can slay gods was surely destroying him. On heating James speak of humanity and his own ideals Cornelius soon shouts, "Fools, it is too late!! Even if I die the portal will not close and already the connection between Macrosm's are established!! Nothing will stop your Macrosm's fall! Hahahaha!!"
Soon as that was finished his soul was destroyed to the core leaving nothing but mana dissipation which showed his body turning into green particles. Soon only silence would be met, as they might of done the impossible. The group could take a breather but then suddenly symbols on the floor soon activate and a define scream could be heard. Suddenly a massive monstrous head could be seen, as a large serpent like being suddenly came from the floor. So large it would tower the group in its shadow. It's body could be seen hundreds of people from the ship. Their dead bodies, mutilated and fused together into this giant beast.
Suddenly a shaking, the tower itself soon began to glow green and the shaking would knock anyone off balance. Above them in the sky hundreds of magic seals suddenly appeared and the portal itself began to expand. In the clouds one could make out an image, an image of a ocean and they would soon see below something they wouldn't never expect. Below was the cruise ship as they would be upside down seeing their world below. The ship itself looked like chaos still has there were still survivors fighting for their lives against the ghouls. As suddenly they all dropped, not moving anymore as the Shade Necromancer gone so was the Ghoul threat. Though all people who are outside would suddenly see the clouds above begin to the tower itself which was slowly coming through above the Cruise Ship. It twisting and turning the entire way as the bridge was slowly materializing between worlds. Before the group now they would see the large monster which itself soon charged towards them with its mouth opening wide as the Metum Chimera roared toward the group its mouth so large it could eat them all.

Gedeon soon stops as he saw Dieter was he was doing and James who was distracting Cornelius, which was surprising how well it was working. He continued to watch only for Dieter's suddenly using the Spear of Destiny which itself was thrown and soon broke through the barriers he created. Gedeon almost had his jaw drop at how easily such a weapon killed Cornelius which normally would not work.
"What... what did I just see?", Gedeon manages to say as he noticed the silence and felt anti climatic.
Looking around he soon says, "That was anti climatic."
Though as soon as he says this suddenly something occurred as the Tower itself began to shake, he then began to notice before them the magic seal on the floor before them activated as the large Fear based Metum Chimera came out from the floor in its his gruesome look which made Gedeon gag at the smell of dead bodies. Before him this massive towering creature that was much larger then he seen, its shape was that of a Snake, with faces, hands and other bodies can be seen all over throughout its body. Its eyes were larger then even their faces as it blinked before them, the body was at least as big as those large skyscraper builders. Its length was as long as 100 feet as it began to encircle the top of the tower, and 1500 Pounds in weight. What made it look even less like a Snake was how the body itself was of the color of green and black.
"That-! Its is a Metum Chimera!!", Gedeon manage to shout as the beast roared before them which made the smell even worse.
Not to mention the roar itself shouted more like a scream of hundreds of people crying out in fear. Looking up he soon saw the portal begin to get closer and grow as the image of below soon appeared before them. Gedeon saw and knew now where they were was truly the Sea of Aether as the Cruise Ship below proved it. As the portal continued to open Gedeon soon notices the Chimera soon charge at them with its mouth opened which he soon scream, "Move!!"
Gedeon strafed to the right as hard as he could with Tamara, held tightly as he saw the beast began to move quickly through where they were.
"We don't got much time the portal is opening very quickly!! We need a plan and a plan now!!", Gedeon soon stated wondering how to deal with this with out his normal weaponry.

Dieter retrieved his weapon as the alchemist died, or what passed for Agrippa in the other universe. Now he was gone, and rightfully so. Unfortunately his work had survived him, that was very clear even without his attempt at a final word.
Runes lit up all around them, drawing the eyes up to the portal, which had more of the incandescent sigils flaring to life around it now while it expanded exponentially. Before his eyes, the ship came into focus through it, and he got hit with a sickening feeling of vertigo as it made him realize he was no longer aware of whether the portal was above him, or below, with the tower being upside down. He really hoped it wasn't the latter theory, that would just make matters even more complex. How he didn't have a headache yet was a testament to his impressive endurance.
Somehow, this situation continued to get worse. One bad thing replaced another. The death of the wizard brought forth some kind of abyssal horror, the party watching in disbelief as a massive serpent made of melded corpses spiraled out of the runed floor and into existence. It was immense, like Jormugandr itself. Like the world serpent, it twined itself around the upper reaches of the tower so that it could reach them with its head and upper body, or what passed for one. Pieces of victims seemed to be chosen at random to be incorporated into its outer epidermis, with eyes next to hands and legs and faces. Absolutely grotesque.
The only mercy was that its huge size made it a lumbering beast. Gerhardt threw himself to the side to avoid the monstrosity as it came barreling forward to take a bite out of all of them. He hit the ground on his side and went into a tumbling roll, which brought him back to his feet in an offensive posture. It continued to spool itself out in front of him to reach at Gedeon, who also dodged, and the rest of their party in sequence. Dieter thrust his spear into its putrescent body while it went on the attack, letting its own momentum rip itself open upon the holy lance. The German practically had to kneel and force all of his weight down onto the weapon to keep it from getting pulled out of his grasp, but he did so.
"GEDEON!" Dieter screamed, but even while straining, it was hard to hear him over the roar of the chimera. The mage knight was their leading expert on these kinds of monsters, so his knowledge would have to be used here. Similarly, since he admitted much earlier he couldn't close the portal, he would be on fighting duty with the spear bearer. "What is this, what is it's weakness?"
After shouting that that, he snappily called out to James. "Doctor! Deal with the portal! You're the best magician we have, you have the best chance. We'll buy you the time you need."
The way he saw it, this would be the most efficient way to divide up their forces. James wasn't much of a fighter on his own, but he was a scholar, and so far, the most proficient with the arcane arts. He'd probably be able to find a way to deal with the portal issue. Gedeon and Tamara would be no good there, but there was no way they could handle this thing on their own. Likely, it'd take everything they had to even break even with it.
"Leave the girl with the vampire! You are going to be too slow if you try to fight while holding her!" The final thing he had to say for the moment was this, to get his compatriot back into prime fighting shape. Just leaving her on the ground would be a death sentence, so for the moment, that was the best option they had. If the mage knight kept holding her, he'd likely be equally dead. Better to try and get her into the arms of a non-combatant until she could be woken up.

"See? Not like those mass produced holy lance you had in mind now is it? It's got over 2000 years of history inside that small spear tip, definitely more powerful than most if not all existing artifacts."
He was about to start another of his cultural lessons when something happened, the sudden appearance of all these magic seals had drawn his attention, and more so when he feel that something is coming through them. But before he could figure out what it is, they were hit by the wave of vision and distortions, it is as if they were inside a washer and being juggled all over. He was confused by his senses of course, was he still standing? Floating? Falling? He couldn't get an understanding of his positioning. Could he trust his own sense in this kind of area? When they cannot tell him enough to make his own judgements? Then he stopped, he stopped asking himself asking questions, he stopped questioning himself.
If he is confused by his senses, then he no longer can believe his own existences. For if one cannot believe in his fundamental knowledge, then how can he believe any of his knowledge are true? This means everything would cease to exist, and he can't have that happen, the Devil, will not have the ability to force him to doubt his own existence and neither would any other almighty beings. He opens his eyes just in time to see the sudden appearance of the giant snake like monster, but he managed to jump to the side to avoid it. Mei Mei, seems to be smart enough to avoid the attack without extra command, jumping on the snake's body just as they make impact, and use the force to fling herself away from the beast and towards her master.
Hearing Dieter's orders, nods and runs towards the spot closest to the portal, but he did one last thing before he started with that.
"Let my voice draw the spring of bravery within you! Let it be the source of your strength and glory! Heroic Bravery!"
His magic would cause a light orange aura to appear around Dieter, Gedeon, and Tamara for a split moment before the spell takes effect. This magic is something different from the summoning magic he used, in fact it is a completely different school by classification. It is a spell that affects ones mind, reducing the fear that one might feel, and the surge of bravery would help increase the strength and speed by drawing on the production of adrenaline. For Dieter and Gedeon it would help them with combat, while for Tamara the extra energy would help suppress any pain or negative side effect she might have from the overuse of magic, and brings her back to consciousness.
Mei Mei would be unable to keep the girl safe, being too slow to be able to keep her away from danger. James also needed her for his own protection, so that he wouldn't get distracted for his next plan, so he decided to wake her up instead if a bit harsh.
Heading to his destination, he sits down in a sort of meditation like pose, and summons five wisps to gather around him. The wisps slowly circles him as he focuses for what he had in mind, with Mei Mei standing between him and the snake in case it comes towards them. Mana around him begins to increase in density as he draws upon the powers of this strange location, using the movements of the wisps to help focus his controls. But that was not all, the wisps had other duties. The wisps begin to change in color, turning from the whitish blue to a bright orange, their flames burning fiercely as James uses their existence as fuel to continue his summoning. After a short moment of this show of fireworks, they disappears suddenly, leaving five small pile of ashes near James.
The ashes then starts to glow, as if a spark within a pile of dried leaves, burning up like a campfire. The fire that appeared was certainly larger than what the pile of ashes should be able to create, in fact it was bigger than when the wisps were burning brightly. A few moments later, the five sets of fire starts to take form that slightly resembles the shape of flaming birds, just like phoenixes. But what can these phoenixes do to help? Only time will tell, but for moment, James seems to be under great pressure from his spells. It is one thing to have a great amount of mana to use, but it is another to be able to use them all at once. It is like a filled pitcher, it is impossible to pour out all the water in one moment, the faster you try to do it the harder it would be. That is exactly James' situation right now, he is trying to mutter up great amounts of mana, yet the side effect of the casting is coming right back at him in a different way as Tamara did earlier. For him, he feels like a mountain is dropping down on him, with the mana around him directly being the cause of this.
James' method of magic allows him to automatically gather mana around him for future uses, but because he constantly does so, it increase the levels of mana around. When he tries to cast a magic that is out of his abilities, they will not go out of control like Tamara did, instead they gathers around him similar to gravity well. The stronger magic James is trying to use, the more the mana will move and crush him in the process, but there is no other choice now unless he wants to just stand there and let the two worlds fuse.

The Chimera was soon struck but the holy lance as it cut open where it hit, even though it was quite powerful this beast itself was made of many human souls. It only purifying some of it only did minor damage as it roared. Turning to Dieter he saw out of all them the most dangerous and soon turned its self and twist and would soon do a body slam to try to crush him. Its screaming would be heard as it attack. Below if people notice the sky they too could see the tower suddenly and a large like beast. They wouldn't be be able to make out out of the people but they would be able to see the rest, a mass panic began to stir among them like it was a nightmare then anything. Meanwhile back in the Tower of Babel, whatever James has began soon could actually be sensed by the others who would be near. The magical energy was gathering similarly around James for all to see. The tower would continue to grow as the runes and magical seals all over continue to shine brightly. Even the Sea of Aether began to be affected as the the clouds near the portable began to churn into a maelstrom of pure mana. What could they do now, the portal continued to grow as slowly it gets closer and closer to the top of the tower.
The Chimera soon would soon to see if it crushed Dieter but if not he would soon release green like subtances that gave off a position gas towards him. Well doing so the rest of chimera's body would begin to twist then begin a massive sweep, the sweep itself would head towards James, if not stop it would hit him dead center.

Gedeon soon managed to hold Tamara well as he dodged, he soon looked to James as he says to leave her with him which he quickly moves.
"Alright, you better be careful though!", Gedeon soon shouted back to James as he moved forward taking out his knife.
Moving forward Gedeon soon moved toward Dieter and soon shouts, "That Metum Chimera has different forms but its current is based on fear!! The victims it has bound to it feeds its power as well any fear from anyone nearby!! As long as you don't fear it, it will be manageable to deal with!! You Lance will work but only small parts of it unless you strike it the same amount as the souls inside it, it will take forever!!"
Gedeon soon barrel rolled nearby by as he finally made it next to Gedeon as he looked at the monster. Looking above he saw how the portal got closer and soon adds, "The moment we enter the portal the fear of the passengers will make it almost impossible to kill. I know of a way to actually hurt it but..."
Gedeon stopped at that but, which usually meant not a good thing which he adds, "I am not sure if I can even use it now, its a spell which I was taught that my old guardian stated that was passed down from my mother. The only issue is the sheer amount of mana required to even use it and well as you know."
Of course Gedeon meant having struggling on his own magic on unable to use which he was having a hard time. Then he felt's James own spell hit him which actually he suddenly felt like his old self.
"Wait this spell... James whatever you just did, that is perfect!!", Gedeon soon stated as he remember something similar that Mage Knights used in combat.
"Dieter even if James closes the portal we need to find a way to beat this thing, if we can then-", Gedeon soon stated as suddenly the Chimera was coming down hard into a body slam which he quickly jumped out of the way.
Gedeon was at a loss, if only he could use that one spell but without the mana required he was unable to use it. Just as he was landing he soon noticed the Chimera's tail was heading directly for James and then pushed himself forward activating a spell.
'Be Hard as the Rock of the World, by the dust that covers one, Give me the strength to resist attack of my enemy!! Stoneskin!!', Gedeon shouted as suddenly stones would begin to form around his body as an armor.
He soon landed in the front to push the tail back with all his strength as he was being pushed back then suddenly the tail stopped.
"Seriously... this thing weigh a ton!!", Gedeon soon manages to say as he soon went to a knee.
Even with the Spear of Destiny simply put not enough strikes from it will kill this beast outright. It required magic that would kill it completely, even if Tamara wakes up she wouldn't have enough mana to even do another high end skill. Gedeon was hard to think, what could he use that could power a spell something, anything that could work.
Meanwhile Tamara soon felt the energy wake up her as she opened her eyes and noticed she was not in same spot anymore.
"Where... where am I?", Tamara stated and suddenly seeing the Chimera twist its tail and coming for them.
Suddenly Gedeon stopping the tail from hitting them, Tamara noticed Gedeon stopping it and then going into one knee. She turned to notice Mei Mei and James as he was chanting a spell then looked up to see the large portal getting closer. She too finally realized she was someplace not of the same world and was looking around.
"Where are we..?", Tamara began to say only to notice the stone she laid on and then the area of green clouds.
She thought deeply a moment trying to figure this out then it finally hit her as it hit Gedeon prior.
"Sea of Aether?!", Tamara managed to say but soon noticed the Chimera look grotesque which almost made her vomit at the look and smell.
Tamara began to look at the magic circles all over and now figured out what occured on her own without being told much.
"Damn, even though I feel better I don't got enough mana for a high end skill. James what happened well I was out?", Tamara Desperately asked.
Then she turned to see Gedeon as he was struggling with the tail still as it continued to push Gedeon back. She soon got up and then shouts, "Gedeon, the Sea!!"
Gedeon who soon noticed his stoneskin was slowly falling off of them and would soon be overpowered heard Tamara's shout then turned to her.
"Sea?", Gedeon soon asked which gave him a moment pause then it hit him.
"AH you mean that!!", Gedeon replies as he soon now figured out something that he didn't tell.
Tamara soon nods, then turns to James then says, "The Sea is made out a pure mana its not an actual sea so its literally a metaphor. The Sea of Aether, or be more precisely the mana of Aether!"
Suddenly Gedeon used another spell suddenly which his legs suddenly had wind below his feet and managed to move the tail toward him as the tail moved forward, missing Tamara and James but throwing Gedeon into the sea of aether above.

While the spear worked, and could even be said to have worked well considering what they were facing, it wasn't working fast enough. They had to bring this thing down now, and it appeared that if Dieter wanted to recreate David and Goliath, he would have to do more than just stab its immense bulk at random. Indeed, he doubted it had anything resembling vital organs, or important nerves that could be struck. Likely, they'd have to practically hack it to pieces to actually end it. By rights it was the kind of job for high explosives, but according to Gedeon that wouldn't work even if they had some. Why it wouldn't was something he was going to ask him when this was all said and done, because they'd need something to even the odds if things like this were going to become more common.
In any case, their best bet was probably just to stall for now and seal the portal, and then face it with their recombined forces. That plan got all the more support from the German when Salvator revealed that if these worlds merged, this monster would go from a hard fight to an impossible one.
"We'll just have to make it work, Gedeon!" He called out. At least they seemed to be keeping a bold face in front of it, so it wouldn't be empowered by them at the moment. James's spell reinforced that, and Dieter felt his spirits soar as beneficial magics reinforced his body and mind. It also reinvigorated him, an excellent boon. Since they were short on time all he did was toss the man a quick salute in thanks, and then he went straight back into the battle. The moment he saw the beast rearing back, he predicted what was coming and already started to beat feet. By the time it actually smashed the ground to try and crush him, he was well away; though, its titanic bulk smashing into the ground made him stumble briefly.
The chimera swung its tail at James next, who was preparing a much bigger spell to follow on the coattails of the bravery boost, and Dieter and Gedeon both moved to throw themselves in its way. But the mage knight was faster, and that turned out to be a good thing, for he had a spell to toughen himself. The spear bearer did too, but it wasn't quite as fast on the draw. Even so, while he wrestled with it, it gave him an opening to try and strike a real blow. Even if it wouldn't kill the monster, it might weaken its combat capabilities and cause it to recoil. Anything to buy them time was a boon right now.
While it was busy trying to swipe Gedeon off the tower, Dieter bolted into a sprint. His shoes squeaked on the cracked surface of the stone while building up speed. The two stared at each other, the chimera breathing poison at him the entire time, which he ran towards without fear. He hefted the spear high, turned it around, and jammed the butt of it into a crack in the tiles. While doing that he kicked off and threw all of his weight forward and upward, using it to pole vault onto the monster's bulk, which also brought him up and over the heavier-than-air toxic breath that it was spitting onto the ground he had formerly been on. The creature was an easy target thanks to its size, lucky. Although he landed on his feet, the German still cursed as he almost slipped on its hide of decayed flesh. Not bringing boots was something he was regretting for more reasons that just fashion, but he ran up its coiled length as fast as the uncertain footing would allow him to go all the same. His objective was its head, hoping to get on top of it while it was busy matching strength with the mage knight. It was a crazy move, but times like this required that kind of sureness of action, consequences be damned...the spell may well have helped to embolden him enough to do this. By all means, riding atop a beast that would give a lunatic's nightmares pause wasn't something anyone sane would do if there were any other option.
Supposing he managed to get there without being thrown off first, the occultist took that spear of his and jammed it straight down into the metum chimera's eye. One of them anyway, he didn't have a preference so he merely struck at whichever was the closer to his immediate position. Dieter would try to plunge it in deep, making sure to absolutely destroy the sensitive tissues. Ideally this would leave it blind on one side and make bringing it down easier.
While doing that a rapid flash of motion caught his eye, and upon looking up, he saw Gedeon go flying into the cloudy skies above. "Gedeon!" He cried out, but there was nothing he could do. They were at different ends of the abomination to begin with, and it swatting him only knocked him even further away laterally. Now, things were getting really bad.

While James is fully concentrating on the summoning, he also understand how the battle is like through the eyes of Mei Mei, and it certainly aren't looking too well with Gedeon getting knocked off the tower. However his two allies did manage to save him from being hit by the monster, even if it did not kill him it would certainly interrupt what he was doing, and they can't have that happen now.
Their main goal is to deal with the portal, the chimera is simply something that stands between them and their goal, and could be dealt with. Fear or not, James is perfectly confident that there are plenty of ways to kill it, magical, or scientific. However if the portal is not dealt with as soon as possible, who knows what kind of damage would be done to both worlds? After all, plenty of philosophers already explained how it is completely impossible for two exact same thing to exist at the same time, and would simply lead to destruction. They can't let that happen, for the world, or for themselves.
The five phoenixes under James' command flies upwards towards the sky and crashes into together at a single point, creating a powerful shock wave and a burst of heat before disappearing. From the spot, five coins, half-bronze, half-silver drops on the ground with a 'cling'. Strangely, the coins did not bounce from the impact, they simply land flat on the ground, circling James himself. If one looks at the coins themselves, they would notice a bearded man, holding a long scepter. A large snake surrounds the image of the man, not only that, the snake in the coin seems to be moving, curling around the man without heading anywhere but its own tail.
"Great deity who have carried for us, the burdens of time! You who art eternal, who controls the flow of Saeculum! Please hear my plea!"
The five coins, begins to rotate around him, before a circle appears. Three lines, the same shape as the scepter of the man in the coin, reaches out and points out the exact time of their present location. And then they moved, faster, faster, first the seconds, then the minutes, finally the hours. The three lines begin to spin with great speed, their movements drawing enormous amount of mana into the magic circle. If someone out of the circle looks at James himself, they would noticed that with ever second he seems to change in appearance, no, he is changing in ages. One second he might be an old man, the other a infant, even his voice seems to sound different. He himself inside the circle however does not seem to be affected by this, but with each second pass, his words sounds to be echoing with more power than the last.
"Thou who have been symbolized by the phoenix! Who is followed by the great snake! I ask once again for you to hear my plea!"
The coins that has been circling around him, suddenly shatters, bursting into a spark of gold.
"Thou who is the center of the flow of time! I ask for the third time for you to hear my plea!"
Then, the movement of the clock stopped. The powder of gold from the coins, does not fade or is moved, instead they stay around him, not moving one bit as if they are being frozen in place.
"Thou who had became time itself! I ask for the fourth time for you to hear my plea!"
The powder, began moving again, and along with them are the circle. The clock begins to floats off the ground, and towards the sky, slightly above James.
"Thou who had walked with us, in the currents, since before our birth and forever after it! I ask, for the fifth time... please, hear my words, and come in your full glory."
The hands that points out the hours, minutes, and time, slowly moves until they are all pointed at the number 12, at the top of the clock. Then a loud ring from a bell is heard out of no where. The floating clock glows, in a strange color that cannot be pinpointed, but is the most similar to a semi-transparent white color.
It's clear that James is trying to use this ritual to summon something, but it is very, very different from how for the portal worked. James is not bringing something from another world, he is simply calling for something that exist in this world, to show their forms. Something that had existed in the far ancient times, but appearing less and less as ages continued. It is as if the relationship between a parent and their children, there would be less needs of keeping watch on the child once they have grown up and prove their worth. But now one of them has called up on their helps once again, in order to handle something that might endanger the world.

The Portal continue to grow closer, as the fighting continued as the energy surrounding the tower continue turn. Finally the top pillars from the edge of the tower itself appeared as they were glowing green as they began to enter the portal. Soon now the time of merging was at hand, Cornelius' plan so far was working and the group fighting for their lives were now out of time. All through this the Chimera was still locked in combat, after successfully pushing Gedeon into the Sea of Aether it now turned its entire attention to get rid of Dieter. But soon the beast didn't expect was what was happening next. Diter in his bravery landed on top of the Chimera which soon was enraged. It tried it beast to knock Dieter off its back as he moved towards its head at a good rate. In all its attempts to knock him off suddenly Dieter landing on the head of the Chimera suddenly raged in pain as its eye was stabbed so deeply it was blinded in the one eye. Twist and turning it soon moved its head as hard as it could to knock Dieter off of its head now. Unable to see in one eye it was now fully angered as it screeched so loudly it would cause pain to anyone's ears. The Beast began to suddenly stop as it soon raised its head upward as it began to gather green mana around its mouth. Whatever it was planning to do it was going to unleash it fully on Dieter as it continue to gather around. Wind could be felt as it was now encircling where the Chimera's mouth the sound sounding like a fury of screams of people which itself could be heard during this. As soon as it was fully father its single working eye stared angrily at Dieter then was about to unleash its power fully on to him.
Though out this in the skies of above the cruise ship the spike shape pillars began to appear into the Archetypal Macrosm. Looking like the end of the world to those below it was almost time of the joining of two Macrosms. Whatever James had planned, whatever Dieter could do the time was now, if they failed now it would be all over. Only Destruction and annihilation would a wait them and everything for naught.

Tamara watched as Gedeon was pushed away by the large Chimera which she gritted her teeth but strangely was calm about the entire thing. Turning to notice the Phoenix's that soon appear near James she was wondering what exactly he was doing. Notice his chant she didn't recognize it at all almost too foreign for her to pin point what he was summoning. Noticing the next part she saw how coins were formed and spinning. It made Tamara transfixed into the way he was doing the spell and could take her eyes off of it completely. Through this she wonder if it was enough time to do it as she soon looked up to see the pillars from the edges of the top of the tower suddenly appearing and began to enter the portal.
"Its begun, a joining of Macrosms?!", Tamara managed to shout as it was already moving.
She then turned to hear a screeched which heard her ears which came from the Chimera. Looking at it she soon felt a strong power being generated by the beast which moved the wind towards it. She covered her ears as she began to see green mana gather around its mouth and looking like it was going to unleash itself towards Dieter with all its fury. Earlier with its eye taken out by Dieter, Tamara managed to be fully impressed what he has managed to do with so little training on fighting the magical monster. Everything those two have managed have only shown they were far more experienced then she realized as they were working together to defeat this situation even at the end it was practically hopeless. She soon closed her eyes as she began to think as what will happen now, until she felt it. Something very warmth and actually a feeling she never felt. She soon opened her eyes and soon looked up at the sky and soon says, "So you finally figured it out."
Suddenly the clouds that were gather near the Chimera which would forced anyone to the ground suddenly stopped. Even the Chimera wondered as its magical energy suddenly stopped gather and turned its head a around in bewilderment. Suddenly the Clouds once again began to twist and churn but this time away from the top of the tower and towards another part of the sky. Suddenly one would seeing lightning began to gather at the same point. If one looked up one could see someone who had a knife up in the air.
'Oh Guardian of the Holy People, I beseech thee to give thy Power! Through wisdom and knowledge you who that sat on the throne of Judgment through Upon the land! By the Clouds and sky! Twist and Churn thy power on to my enemies!! By this I beseech thee to release the power of the King of Devas!! Now hear my Power!! JUDGEMENT BOLT!!'. Gedeon soon shouted as lightning began to gather around the knife he carried as suddenly threw it downward towards the Chimera.
Seeing it in front of him the knife was glowing as an large amount of lightning could be seen behind it. As it soon hit the dead center of the beast. It would electrocute the monster as it was stunned and stopped moving for a moment. Well it looked like a stunning move within in second of silence suddenly an countless thunderous roar of lighting bolts came down onto the Chimera from the sky. It would continue to pound the monster which suddenly Gedeon would gracefully land in front of Dieter as he soon snapped his finger and suddenly a largest bolt of lightning ever seen came down like a river of energy was landed on the beast.

Dieter clung to his weapon for dear life as the beast thrashed like a wild animal in an attempt to throw him off. He did everything in his power to hold firm, hunkering down and even grasping the stolen skin of the monster with his off hand to remain firm. It was possibly one of the most grueling exercises in his life. Made all the worse by the ringing noise in his ears brought on by the chimera's pained screeching just moments before. In this case the pain was worth it, because it was the result of some actual, lasting damage being done.
But too late in coming, it appeared, as the tower started to slowly plunge through the portal. The stitched-flesh serpent was also absolutely furious at him now, the aura of numen it was building up for an attack was as bright as a green flare. It hurt the eyes to look at, and he had to fight the urge to shield them and lose his grip in the process. Not something he enjoyed the thought of, even if it was holding steady at the moment to charge up for this attack. Further away he could see James's spell coming to fruition, he just had to hope it would be pulled off it time. They had precious seconds, maybe even less.
What to do, what to do? Logic dictated he jump off this thing before it could annihilate him with whatever death spell it was conjuring. The original idea he had was to cast a spell back once up here to compound the damage. A small part of his mind toyed with the idea that it may be futile to bother with running at all, any attack requiring that much magic would likely not be easy to avoid. Particularly when it could easily just lift itself up like a spitting cobra to keep line of sight wherever he went on this cursed tower's flattened roof. On the flip side, how much damage could a final spell truly do? This decision was temporarily put on hold when Gedeon reentered the scene from above, throwing lightning like Thor himself from the heavens. The bolts crackled and twisted about each other as if they were miniature caricatures of the monster he was standing on. Each streaked through the skies before slamming down onto the metum beast like the fall of a hammer onto an anvil. Each shot brought with it the reek of ozone and burning flesh, and the charged particles in the air made their hair begin to stand on end.
It was truly an amazing sight to behold.
This gave him an opening, which he sought to seize. He drew himself to his feet and splayed a hand in front of himself as Gedeon floated down next to him. "Glad to see you're in one piece. Let's end this!"
Sparks began to jump between his fingers as well, and then arcs of electricity as the voltage built up. But unlike Gedeon's, these weren't blues, yellows and whites - the colors of plasma. Instead, Gerhardt's voltage was pink and red, and almost ghostly in its luminosity. He took a deep breath and held it, focusing on the reserves of power within himself. The numen that governed the mind, body, and soul. This repertoire of power is what he called upon for the spell, taking it from inside and making it manifest externally, forcing it out through the points of the body that connect the three parts together and into his arm. Once he had enough power, he drew a jagged sign in the air with his index finger. A trail of red followed where the pointer went, making an occult symbol that looked like a lightning bolt crudely twisted into the shape of an arrow's head. He banished it with a wave of the hand and leveled that finger towards the face of the monster just as the final lightning bolt was about to strike.
"Vril-blitz!" He shouted. Red electricity projected from his hand in a crackling beam, striking the creature's other eye and scouring both that and the rest of its face. As with the spear, this wasn't merely an attack on the physical level; the ephemeral was equally effected. Just as this power was gathered from his spirit, so too could it strike the foe's. This would have different effects on an actual living creature, but since the chimera was an undead, all that would happen is that it would receive a nasty shock.
Gedeon's final attack landed a second later, and he could only hope their combined power had brought it down at last.

"Summon! The Symbol of Time and Eternity! Answer my pleas and come forth!! Deity! Aion!!"
The clock suddenly shatters, and the ringing of bells stopped along with it. 'Pieces' of the clock falls and disappears before they could touch the ground, with only the outline of the circle remaining. Then, he appeared, no one here, humans or beasts, magic users or not, could have detected it.
An old man wearing a Chiton, with a hood over his head that covers up to his eyes. He holds a scepter in his hand similar to those that acted as hands for the clock, and a large serpent wraps itself around the man. He might not look impressive by appearance, but anyone with even a bit of magic talent would clearly understand, this man is much, much, much more than any being they could have possibly imagined.
"God of Eternity, Aion! Help us stop that portal from causing destruction to the world!"
Aion, the Hellenistic deity that represents the eternity of Time. Unlike the more famous Chronos, Aion is time itself, emerged from Chaos itself. Rather than harnessing the powers of time, Aion himself makes up the flow of it, which means it doesn't even have to control time. To Aion, affecting time is just like moving the tip of your fingers. Not only that, Aion is also associated with mystery religions, namely those that concerns the afterlife, which makes him the perfect choice for this situation.
"Ho, it's been thousands of years since another mortal had communicated with me... you are a interesting bunch indeed. Very well, for your efforts, I will help you solve your problems."
Aion points his scepter at the portal, and the space around it seems to turn gray for a moment, before the entire area shatters into pieces similar to when Aion was summoned. The Time God has 'erased' the time that the portal existed, ceasing its existence. Any trace of the portal is wiped clean, with no signs of it opening up again.
Although James was the one that summoned Aion, he did not expect the deity to have done the deed like it was nothing. The power differences between the God and the Necromancer is greater than the heaven and earth. If Agrippa was still alive then he would have been dealt with the same way, just as fast too. After all, in front of a god that controls time, even a single second could be eternity.
"And you too should return to whence you came, you don't belong here."
The Chimera(or the remains of it), gets trapped the same way as when Aion dealt with the portal, and disappears from sight after blinking a few times. From what Aion has said, it seems like he have sent the creature back to the other world, so the people there would have to deal with it instead. He could have killed it, but the other world does not concern him, the mortals and gods of the other world can deal with it themselves.
"And the deed is done."
The portal, and the chimera, the two things that the group was so worried about just got dealt with in a second by the summoned deity, making James wonder if this is going a bit overboard. He'd ask some questions, but he is really not in the condition to do that. The casting has greatly drained his energy, so he just lays there on the ground, trying to recover. After all, he had just done the unthinkable, summoning a top level god. Even if it was with the help of the sea of Aether, it was definitely not anywhere close to an easy job.
"I know you all might have many questions to ask, however that could be done at another time. There is no point in asking questions when you do yet construct the basics of these knowledge... go, travel around the world, and learn from your seniors. Only then will you be able to reach their heights, and perhaps beyond that."
Beings with great power tends to speak in riddles, or at least don't like to give off information on their own. Looks like if the team wants to find answers then they would have to look for other sources.
"Until we meet again, for me it would be an instant, for you all it could be a saeculum. Farewell, brave souls."
And Aion disappeared, as fast as it took for him to appear. Along with his disappearance are their surrounding scenes, the tower, the 'sea', everything disappears. A second later the group would find themselves in the ship's engine room. On the corner of the room is Agrippa's body, completely void of life(if he had any in the first place), seemingly killed by the Spear of Destiny.

With all the damaging blow Dieter and Gedeon's combined effort put down the chimera into a frying husk. The sheer amount of magical energy acted similarly as Tamara's firestorm from earlier. Sooner with Aion being summoned it was all over. When they arrived back at the engine room they would soon notice something, the portal now gone everything was as nothing happened. The power was once again activated on the ship and all looked well. In fact though they saw the body of Cornelius they would soon notice three books were laid near him.
Not mention they will also notice something even stranger, the engine room looked untouched and they would notice the machinery were automatically working without issue. On further investigation one could see the clock right back before the ship even was stopped by a whole hour, before the event occured. As well above on the ship people moved about like nothing occured, though in the back of their mind the by all felt they had a bad dream. It seemed Aion did more then reverse the portal, it reverse all time as if the portal never even formed in the first place. The Cruise Ship was in perfect state and everything seemed well.

Gedeon soon nodded at Dieter and replies, "I faced stronger enemies then this!"
Gedeon turned to see Dieter's spell as it helped brought down the large Chimera as he let out a sigh. Just as he looked up to see the portal entering suddenly it stopped. Turning around he soon saw James on what he summoned and soon exclaims, "Aion? You summoned a fucking God?!"
Of course there has been done countless times in his own world but to see it from someone from ANOTHER Macrosm all together just was surprising, the more he saw the more he seriously wondered if James wasn't a genius Arch Wizard in Disguise or something. As he saw everything began to be undone he soon noticed what the God stated which he wondered why he never appeared in his own Macrosm as much anymore. As he felt the mana wash him he suddenly was blinded then noticed they were back on the Cruise Ship, inside the engine room specifically. Looking around he soon saw where they were and the dead body of Cornelius, likely put back before he became a Shade Necromancer in the first place. Walking up to the body he soon chanted a small fire ball from his hand and threw it onto the body.
"It seems my magic is fully back though much weaker then it was back in my world. As well its best to burn the body before it becomes a Necromancer again.", Gedeon soon stated as he soon looked at the three books on the floor.
Tamara walked up and soon was about to touch it only to be stopped by Gedeon suddenly.
"Don't touch it, it may possess or something.", Gedeon warned to girl who soon nodded back as she stepped back.
As he looked around he began to notice that there was no blood or struggle in the engine room. When Gedeon notice this he suddenly hears, "Hey what the hell you guys doing down here!! You know its dangerous to be in the engine room!!"
From the distance a crew member was from the distance yelling at them which Gedeon and Tamara realized everything that occurred reversed. Turning to the others he soon says, "I think we better get out of here."
The Crew members were closing in and they would have to move quickly, if they wished to be caught now or escape.
