It looks like their targets are moving as fast as they can, and that's not necessary a bad thing. The top speed of their target would still be around the same or lower than those of the rebels, and by moving fast they forfeit their stealth. It's not difficult to detect them when their horses are charging through the night, and it's even more easier figure out where Asher's group is heading to when there are areas nearby that are guarded by the Rorkes.
By now the second group would be close, and would be arriving ahead of the four targets, ready to capture them before the Rorke Clan could respond. They're more than welcome to the idea of making the pesky kids pay for forcing them to travel so far, and taking so much effort to deal with them. The same goes for the first group, which should be fairly close to the fleeing group by now, and share the same mind about their bothersome targets.

Asher knew there was no way to escape now as the forest seemed way too far, not to mention in the distance he could see more torches from not too far.
"Fuck... they must've been shadowing us all this time.", Asher commented remembering where he was soon says, "Keiana... we might be in trouble."
"Wait what?", Keiana managed to say which Asher soon says to Merlin, "Merlin here take this."
"Wait what?", Merlin soon said as Asher handed him the letter to Lord Magnes.
"There is no time, we are coming up to a series of underground passes that connected to a few caves. I want you and Igor to take Keiana into them. I got an old map of the place... here. I used to play around there as a kid with Jorge when we rode off for a weeks on end from home. Do not light a fire, just go in take a left and keep following the path for at least 200 steps. Once there you will take a right deeper in the cave for another 300 steps. Then use this lighter to get a torch up and follow the map, it would lead to out a day later, but its the only way.", Asher soon said as he slowed down to have them get off their horses.
"Wait, wouldn't they..", Merlin soon said which Asher shook his head.
"Unless their crazy, they wouldn't. I will lead them away with the horses, just hide in there and do not come out, in fact if I say to come ignore me. Just follow what I said and get Keiana to safety she is far more important then I am.", Asher ordered.
"Asher wait do not do this just..", Keiana soon said which Asher turned to her then puts his hands on her arms.
"Whatever you do convince Lord Magnes the enemy is not a normal band of bandits. Their training, their organization, its too similar to the Empire. If its them that means their just the first wave of an invasion. He must be warned to give word that these bandits are out here. Wyvernmill was easily attacked which means their really really bold. So please Keiana just go and hide cover your tracks and hide over there, under those rock formations. Then head to the cave in silence, alright?", Asher soon said to her with determination.
"Asher Rorke if you die, I won't forgive you.", Keiana managed to say as she kissed him, "Because your far too important to simply die like this."
With that Merlin, Igor, and Keiana moved well covering their tracks. Luckily both he and Keiana were Neos, and felt the coming presences drawing closer. When they were safely hidden Asher grabbing all horses but spread them enough to make it look like four riders were still riding. It was forunate that there was a hill in the during this meaning the pursuers and those to cut him off wouldn't be able to see this at all. Moving promptly and quickly he rode towards the forest, his goal after was was to draw them away from the the rest of the group silently moved like he stated into the cave.

The Paemir Rebels, now numbering a total of a hundred men, had Asher completely surrounded. His quick exchange with the others of his group wasted too much time that he might have been able to use to get away, so they managed to caught up to him without spending too much more effort. They did not say anymore, and simply charge up towards him. They're not here to kill him, but that doesn't mean they'll spare him either, several of them throws Flash Bangs and Tear Gas Grenades at him, followed by steel nets to disable him completely.
Others have their bows and sabers ready, if Asher tries to resist at all, his limbs would have a unfortunate meeting with arrows and slashes. They need someone for ransom and to set as example, so sending a limb or two over to his old man might be a workable choice.
As for the other three that seems to be missing, they don't care as much. The three of them are bonuses, not the main targets. And it's great that more of Paemir knows of their existence, it'll just make the rule of the three clans seems weaker than ever. It's more so when they are actual rebels and not being backed by any known faction but themselves, they had some supplies and training at the start, but nothing more than that.

As Asher rode hard as far as he could away from where Keiana and the others were. He began to notice horses riding to attempt to surrounded him and the horses the best thing now was to let them go to attempt to make them spread out. Riding faster and harder he was soon far enough away that the enemy wouldn't be able to hear or see the others who would then sneak into the cave. As rode he soon took out his revolver and fired at a nearby person, his goal was to wound to try to make a path. But alas as flash bangs and tear gas soon hit him. The horse as well was affected and soon a net descended on him dropping him down to the ground making him lose consciousness, as he fell off the horse.

The last attack came as a surprise... or so it would have if these rebels are those of another region. Being originated from Paemir, many of them knew about such path, and the cave that Asher hid in was no secret to them. If that knowledge of the cave and his own trails didn't reveal his position, his attempt of trying to hide into it did. The rebels clearly had Asher in sight, or else they wouldn't be able to attack him as a group, so his 'hiding' did nothing more than trapping him in the cave that he had chosen.
The attempt to attack the rebels was no help to his situation, with the horses already charging at attacking speed, it would be quite difficult to attempt to shoot at the attackers at such close range. Even in the case that Asher was able to get a clear shot, the charging horses would not stop in their tracks because of the shot, and would continue to crash towards him without stopping. But luckily for him the horseman that he aimed at managed to dodge the shot, so the 500kg worth of beast won't be crushing his bones today.
After they captured Asher, they tie him up with not ropes, but tendons that were harden by soaking in oil. The treatment to the tendon makes them much tougher than regular rope, resistant to tear and scratches, and would squeeze into your skin for extra strength. They also keep him wrapped with the net, deciding to make Asher suffer a bit more for their efforts.
-
When they got to their temporary camp, Asher was thrown into a metal cage that was on a carriage. The cage was used to cage animals, so it was strong and durable. With extra reinforced locks to keep it shut, at least no human strength would be able to faze it one bit. They don't have any houses here, so he was just left on the side inside the cage, and still remained tied by the tendon and wrapped with regular rope. Of course, he was fully searched for any weapon, or even items that might be possible for him to be used to escape from the tendon, ropes, or the cage.
Surrounding him are several dogs that the trackers uses, keeping close watch on their prisoner. Adding to that, several armed guards watches him, ready to put a few bullets into his limbs if he gets bothersome. On top of his cage is a dish of burning firewood that's used to light up his area, bits of hot ashes drops down in his cage once in a while, but not enough to cause a serious burn.
Of course, these are all done on purpose. Being a member of the very clan that they wish to overthrow, the rebels had no problem with venting out their anger on their prisoner. But at least right now he's not going to be injured, not for now.

Before Asher knew it he woke up within the a cage, disoriented he soon began to began to regain his own senses. First thing he notice his entire body was tied up and he felt bruises all over, like a jack hammer hit him non stop. He then noticed he was in a cage which was big enough for him to move but due to being tied he wouldn't be able to even more. He felt something hot for a second hit his face then looked up to see a small fire active above. Then he soon noticed likely guard dogs not too far, in all in all Asher soon began to remember what happened and then guessed these were the bandits.
'They are far more organized then I originally thought, they went so far to add this much security tells us of their training. Hrmm Imperial spies? Mercenaries? I wonder who are these people, if they are the same who attacked Wyvernmill...'
Asher was in deep thought, they were pretty good in trapping him here the good news? Well it was obvious so far he only seen one cage and no one else meant Keiana and the others escaped. That alone was much worth it, but now captured he wondered why they haven't killed him.
'I wonder do they know that I am of Noble blood?'
Everything was given to Merlin thus they wouldn't know who he was which gave Asher a pause. Looking up it was still night which meant it was likely still same day. Regardless Asher now unable to do much just got himself relaxed even with these bonds to at least conserve his strength. He soon closed his eyes waiting to hear something or someone coming. If they talked he would listen in if not well he had to figure out who these people are.

Noticing their prisoner woke up, one of the guards went to a larger tent on the side to report. A few moments later a man in his 40s walks out with the guard, and slowly head towards the cage. The man was wearing a tougher set of armor than the rest of the rebels, more bulky in build with a large scar on his forehead. He seems to be the commander by the looks of it, as the guards give him more respect than they have done to each other. He reaches over and move the dish a bit so that light could be directed right at Asher's face, and causing more ashes to fall on him for a moment, before speaking with a Paemir accent.
"Asher Rorke, it took us a bit of effort, but it was for naught. We got you and all three of your friends."
In truth, they didn't, Asher was the only one that was captured. But without much visual of the entire camp, or knowledge about the other rebels, there's nothing that could prove his words or otherwise. Including Newtype abilities which would not be effective if at long range or if the others are unconscious.
"Perhaps you would like to tell us more about them, so that we wouldn't have to hurt them any more in order to get information of our own. I'm not too interested in doing it the rough way, but I'm sure my men would like to have a go with the girl. Or perhaps I could take an arm off your two other friends, though they'll be fine with one arm, I'm sure they'd prefer if they kept it."
The commander knew his way of doing things, and focused his threats towards the other members of Asher's group. It seems unlikely for someone that's willing to sacrifice themselves to sell out his friends by threats to themselves, but it's more likely for them to do so in order to help out such friends. The other three might be close friends with the Rorke Clan for Asher to have done such sacrifice, so the commander wanted to find out if he'll need to chase after the three, by figuring out their identity.
"You won't have much time, we'll start asking your friends some questions once they wake up. So what would it be? As a reminder, if you lie even a bit, I'll cut off one of their fingers. Perhaps that would make you think twice before giving your answers."

When Asher saw the man he soon sized him up which made his own brow raised. Looking at him and hearing him which told him not exactly what he was expecting in fact it raised his curiosity.
"Strange... Strange indeed.", Asher soon said which he saw the man before him.
"So you know my name that also adds to this strangeness. I take your someone important here by judging how others act. The strange part, why would a bunch of bandits likely either hired by the Empire or the High King have such an accent. I was expecting other kind of people but this seems a bit strange.", Asher soon replied, ignoring the man's first question which he pondered about the man before him.
When he heard about capturing others he soon made his eyes even more suspicious. Especially when he was trying to see if he was telling the truth, of course that was more feeling and it didn't do much help there.
"How do I even know you have them? I made sure they escaped, I grew up in this land, hunted all the time, and traveled with both my father and friends all the time. What is strange you all don't act like a normal band of thieves if I have to say it seemed you got some professional training somewhere. If you truly have them prove it to me, after all bandits are only here for the loot and nothing more. The hostage taker only captures people to sell back or do I have it wrong?", Asher soon said trying to figure out these men and he was of course bold.

The commander looks at their prisoner, and give out a light sigh before looking at Asher with an annoyed look.
"You don't seem to understand what's going on right now, we're the ones asking the questions here, not you. Don't treat all of Paemir as stupid as you bunch of nobles, you've been running around Paemir in the past years, a good number of people already knew your face. And to think our former lords are people like this one, I suppose in a way it's a good thing, it got us to stand up and push back at those warmongers."
"Yeah, they kept on drafting more and more people into the army... my hometown only had a few men left thanks those noble bastards."
One of the guards agreed with their commander, obviously with the Cuillinn-Rorke-Bachelet's method of doing things it had caused great grief to their people. Large amount of their workforce are forced into soldiers, and causing problems to the economy. It's one thing to be on the front-line, but when you actively attack a stronger opponent, you're bounded to suffer damages. While mercenary armies like Gransela tends to not fight alone, but with allies such as their employers, allowing them to fight with less risk and casualties. The whole 'defend your country and honor' thing has always been a noble thing, all the peasants care are their daily lives, so what the Cuillinn-Rorke-Bachelet clans fought for was pretty much a load of junk to them.
What they did said however, shows that they're from the Paemir region, and that their goal seems to be overthrowing the three Paemir clans. It seems that they're not fighting for the gain of any other region or nations, but for their own cause of changing the problems of Paemir with their own ways. To be honest, they don't care whose in charge, they'll be fine as long as they're even slightly better than before.
"Hmph, as for your friends, it's up to you to believe it or not, we don't need to prove anything. What matters is, are you going to risk it? I'm not going to lose anything if anything happened to your friends, it's you that we're taking ransom, not them. Here, allow us to help you think about it a bit more."
He looks at one of the guards, who take a barrel of cold water and splash it at Asher, enough to soak him from head to toe. They took the coal dish away and had been pouring the water at his face, doing it slowly so the water would stay near his nose and mouth to disrupt his breathing. After they're done the guard puts the barrel aside, and the commander speaks again.
"Had enough? Lets hear what else you have to say..."
-
A distance away from the camp, a figure seems to be sneaking around, and slowly making their way towards the rebel camp. It's quite dark, and the figure is wearing dark color to match their surroundings, so it's very difficult to notice them.

When Asher heard the next part of what he thought of nobles, Asher laughed hard even after everything which made him chuckle a bit.
"Oh? Nobles usually don't act like me in fact I am considered a smart ass and particularly disliked by my very own kin. After all those who are of the line of Dragoons are not seen as human but simply tools of war in this realm and many others. As for drafting into the army, you do realize after their service of around three years their allowed back home right? The reason why we draft is to train the populace to defend the region and kingdom if the Empire ever intends to invade. Mind you I seen the border both us and the Imperial raid each other all the time, its only a matter of time before the might of the Empire comes after us again.", Asher then added.
Once the water boarding began he soon almost choked hearing what the man soon asked he soon says, "What? Is it over already? Really, you raiders are from my region making me think... what lead to you guys thinking like idiots? No really, think about it. Though we have gone through three years of bad harvests you do realize the so called nobles you hate have been attempting to amend this right? Not to mention the problem increased with the economic sanctions of the High King and the Trade King due to their pettiness to the Mountain King has caused this problem to grow worse? Its bigger then what you guys think, you think we are all high and mighty. Ok you got me there, there IS some who act like that but regardless, starting this won't help anyone. In fact this will not help anyone in the end, do you even have a plan AFTER you overthrow the clans? Even if you do you will then have to contend with the Mountain King. Even if you do manage to beat him so far his record is pretty near flawless, what then? Other noble lords will see this as a full all out rebellion and guess what begin interfering in Paemir matters. Gransela... Exion... they would take advantage of this internal strife and then move its armies to subjugate the rebellion like dogs. Then what will you end up with? Rule with those of not your land and likely worse control then what we have now. Instead of plotting overthrowing why not just start working with what you got? After all if your Paemirian like I am then you know honor, family, and our people unified is far more important then to allow us to be ruled by others."
After all it was true, even if the rebellion managed to over throw his family what then? With no proper economy thanks to the sanctions of the south and central, they would have poor management of the land. With no one truly educated how to run things then they would fall on their knees. Not to mention the other noble clans of the Kingdom will see this as a threat to the Monarchy and the Nobility. After all the Noblesse wish to stay in power and a region falling to a bunch of commoners who only know how to raid and kill organize manner would be a threat to their power base. Then the Clan armies would march into Paemir put down the rebels and then effectively rule with a puppet governor who would not see any benefits of keeping the true independent Paemirans culture and way alive. Not to mention if more instability rocks the Paemir Region the Empire may send its legions down on them and with all the Dragoons of the Paemir gone no way to fight back against the Aquila who would literally march towards Valhedge Citadel City without much of a eye blink.

"Different? I sure don't see it, in the end you're acting just like every other Paemirian nobles, caring more about their own values than the lives of the people. It's not the harvest that's causing the problems, nor is it the reduction in trade, it is the constant fighting that your clans carries out against the Empire. You don't seem to understand that pride and honor does not help your people one bit, every day they're falling to bullets, arrows, swords and cannons, just because the Paemirian nobles said so. Whatever attempts in amending the situation, does not work, and obviously we don't see any actual attempts or else we wouldn't have to come to this. Lets take a look at the few recent events involving Paemir and the other Zalboria regions, we first have mister honor and pride here being locked in jail, then our 'lord' the mountain king throwing dirt in the high king's face in front of the rest of the Zalborian nobles. If you call that attempts to amend the problem then I can't imagine what you would do to your enemies."
By now the commander realize that not only are they dealing with a foolish noble like they expected, but Asher was one that is blinded by his own values, lacking the ability to see his surroundings and the problems that comes with his actions. But there's a bit of time, so he decides to go along with it and see what else could the boy bark out.
"Working with what we got you say? Well then, what is it that we have to work with that might be helpful? Send the last handful of adult men over to the battlefield, and die for your 'honor'? Be like you and insult every other nobles so much, so that they refused to help the situation? We don't need any of your honor and pride, nor do we care about how much you rich snobs hate the rest of the country. All we wanted is a bite to eat, a roof to sleep under, and that we wouldn't have to be worried about being drafted into the army the next day. That's what we're living like kid, look just over the borders, every other region lives better than us. Even in the most poor region in Zalboria, at least they wouldn't have to worry about getting killed the next day, fighting against an army that is vastly stronger than our own. I mean the cold ration we get now taste better than the crap we're forced to eat back home, I knew more than a handful that had to eat others to survive."
But why, why have they attacked, and forcing others to be living as bad as they did? Perhaps they could have just ran away to Exion or other regions for a better life, or join Gransela as mercenaries to have a chance for glory? The Empire, though strong, would likely to welcome extra fighting forces under their wings. What got them to choose this path instead?
"I want to see you, and every other Paemirian noble scum burn. Just like my brothers, friends, comrades, like all those that burned and fallen when they were forced into the Paemir ranks by the 'good nobles'. Many, many of them perished, with nothing left behind, with nothing gained. Many of them died without knowing why the hell were they on the battlefield in the first place! Some were killed not by the enemies, but by the hands of their own commanders! And do you know why kid?"
The commander waves at the guards that were keeping watch around, who all share similar looks as the commander himself, filled with hatred and rage towards Asher and nobles like him.
"You don't think everyone in Paemir agrees with the whole fight for honor and unity do you? Many, many of them thought otherwise, and hope to change... but that was not beneficial to some others, so they were wiped out of the picture, 'killed in action'... by shots coming from the back, hahaha..."
The commander seems to be getting out of control, but the others did not stop him, as they too seems to understand what the commander went through. Several of them shared the same experience, or were even the target of these 'purges' themselves, but narrowly escaped from their death. In the defense of the Paemirian clans, it was not exactly rare that purges were done in the average army in order to weed out spies and potential danger, but it does become a problem when so many of them were the targets. Purging creates more problems than they could solve if they have to weed out the foundation that makes up the organization, the drafted peasants.
That said, not all parts of the region have this much problem, for example the richer farmland in Wyvernmill, and naval city Port Magnes would have less problems than the ones are close to the front-line. On the other hand, those that live close to the borders with the Empire, would find themselves having an easier time accepting the other nation, assuming that none of their family had been kill in battle with them.
"Your idea of unify is nothing like an actual unify, it would just be the Paemirian clans weeding out all those that opposes the aggression against the Empire, so that you could all carry out a full scale war that would drag everyone in Paemir... no, everyone in Zalboria into your 'noble fight for honor'. Something that even the Mongolian Empire wannabes over at Gransela do not want to do. If you fools want to rush to your death for something you believe in, then go do that alone! Don't force everyone else to do it with you! Look at you, the only suggestion that you attempted to give us is 'suck it up and it'll be better in the future'... well guess what? We've been doing that for the past 20 years, and it has only gotten worse. With every raid you pull on the Empire, we lose a few more men in the villages, and what do we gain in return? While you nobles are being warm and fed inside your mansions, the front-line infantries like us had to return home with a small amount of pay, and visit families of our fallen warriors to tell them that their father, brother, or son had not make it."
Then he points at the equipments they're using, the horses they have on the side, and loot that they got in some of their raids.
"That is why, we needed training. We had little to none in Paemir, where it was reserved to those that wants to rip out their hearts to show loyalty to the Paemirian clans, and fight the Empire. No we had to seek other sources, BETTER sources... we found some on the 'plains', and we got our guns at the rest of the kingdom. We got our cash at the very group that you forced us to fight against, and we got our people from those that the Paemirian clans tried to force down to the dirt! This is not a small rebellion like you think it is, this is revenge! This is when you have cornered us to the walls of your honor and unity junk, and hold us at gun point to deal with others with guns!"
He's starting to point fingers towards Asher when he finishes his every sentences, and he looks like he would have pulled out his sidearm and shot Asher in the face if they didn't want to use him as ransom.
"We don't need to rule anything, all we have to do is dig up the roots of the problems, the Paemirian clans! No matter who gets Paemir in the end, it would be a lot better than what we have now. If it's the Empire, then we would still be alive as a part of the Empire. If it is Exion, then we'll be able to benefit from their trades and riches. Even if they want to take advantage of us, they would first need to feed us, what can they gain in our situation now? We're already close to freezing and starving, the only thing we have left is our lives, and soon we won't even have that if we wait for your 'amendments'!!"
-
Though there were guards posted at the walls of the camp, they were mostly concentrated on spotting approaching armies, so the lighting were mostly directed towards the distance. The figure earlier managed to duck close to the wall using some shadowed locations, and got inside the camp without being noticed. Now they could spot Asher, but stayed in the shadows to avoid any detections. Perhaps it the figure is here to help? Or is it an assassin sent by one of his enemies?

When Asher heard of the response about the High King it almost made Asher laugh then adds, "You all do realize that very High King hates Neville to the point of being extremely petty right? I mean what High King punishes an entire region just because he is the Mountain King and nothing more. As for your living, as I said... our connections to others has been cut off completely. When Neville storm off afer putting down the Fafian Rebellion the High King effectively ordered that no one was allowed to trade here nor help here. That meant we have been literally isolated thanks to partially the High King and our own pride, its caused a rift and even the current High King's power base is weaker then its ever been before."
When he heard about the cold rations which itself didn't make any sense to him, in fact what is reported is quite opposite which began to get him thinking.
"Wait... cold rations? That doesn't sound right especially what is officially reported to the Margrave...", Asher soon genuinely asked.
But when the next part about the purges that alone made him wonder what the hell was going on if this was occurring. In fact any noble lord doing this would by Paemirian Law would be stripped of their title and executed due to the Lord's job is protection to its commoners under their protection. Then when he added training then that triggered something was wrong about this entire situation, what in the world lead to this? Asher knew under Rorke this never happened he remembered his grandfather the former Margrave's lessons as a child. 'The Clan must uphold honor, must protection its citizens at all due cost, Paemir comes before country, the strong must protect the weak. But what he is listening was quite opposite what many young lords in the Valhedge Academy are taught. It was the reason many his age were close to each other exception of him the odd kid out. Yes there was the dicks like Validar but Paemir was always put before anything in their minds. They were taught to follow the Paemir traditions and purging was not done unless the said village openly rebelled against the order and brought instability to the region. If a Lord was caught abusing this power just like he thought earlier they would be put on Trial and if found guilty, killed by firing squad. When all was said and done, with the 'better training' could be subjective after all the Highlanders probably one of the most experienced armies in the entire kingdom. But hearing everything saying these like this is not a small rebellion, made him pause to think. If true, who was supplying them? They said plains which limited to only a few notable clans within the kingdom. This alone brought him back to the suspicions he had with the Jade Company.
'Wait the Jade Company arrives as others not informed... and they say they were trained by the ones from the plains. Could it be... is it Gransela behind their training? If so does that mean... Wait there has to be more proof then this, after all not enough evidence is here yet if there is more. This could be very well a plot by the Trade King Koeff himself which means possibly a planned rebellion by the High King himself?! Would they go so far?! There is not enough evidence and being trapped here doesn't help things. If this is true and not a small rebellion, it could explain their movement so rapidly that only seen by professionals. The only other option could be the Gransela being framed by the Empire trying to make more disunity and possibly wanting the Paemir in full rebellion when they invade. What can it be?', Asher mentally thought as more and more of this looked suspicious.
Asher soon recognized though at least who he was dealing with, a man who was disillusioned with petty revenge. With men also following him clouded from his own judgment, which meant there was one advantage he had here even if he didn't know it. A man blinded by revenge was a man who couldn't be bargained with when they are totally disillusioned the only answer is with the point of a sword. The only regret here Asher was thinking was he wondered who's fault was this. Who in the Paemir Court of Council lead to this kind of situation? This has caused Asher to begin thinking of something he didn't want to tell anyone but his father. He would know what to do after all, because this kinda of predicament if what he told has some truth, meant there was someone within the Paemir court not telling the Margrave the truth. Which meant they might have a traitor within their mists, after all if one mistreats the commoners badly will only ignite the death to the region.
Asher soon sighed after thinking of everything which he soon looks up with a bit of regret.
"When you have a sick body with cancer what is the best solution?", Asher soon asked after all he wanted to begin a metaphor here.

"Heh, you seem more broken up than us here boy. One second you talk about how weak and useless the High King is, the next you talk about how he's able to stop all trade and help to Paemir. I don't know which fairy tale you've been reading when you're in the cribs, but that sounds like a fairly powerful ruler to me. Unless the only form of power you believe in is military strength, in that case you're still nothing, when we're able to defeat you with ease."
Though this group lacks even the basic artillery or armor, their ranks of complete cavalry means that they'll have much superior mobility, perhaps even higher than a Granselian Cavalry regiment. This is mostly because they have no need to defend, no need to resupply as they could simple rob their targets, and no need for prisoners as they would just kill all that they could take.
To make then even more dreadful, they don't have any special goals other than to wipe out all of the nobility in the area. They have nothing to return to, nothing to live for, and as such they fight like demons on the battlefield. There is nothing more fearsome than people that are willing to throw away everything they have, including their lives, just to have a chance at your head.
"Cancer? Hmph, why not cut it apart like you nobles like to do, reckless use force on any problem, and not even looking down at the people that got sacrificed by your actions. But we'll be the sword this time, to get rid of the cancel, the nobles... I'm quite sure your clan would give a bit of reaction when we send them news of your capture, they'll be lured out like ants to honey, then be trampled under the hoofs of our horses!"
That seems to be all that the captain wants to say for the day, so he turns without saying anymore, and returns back to his tent. The other guards keep watch until it's time to get some rest, and allow their comrades to take their place. Most of them either pour water at Asher to make him suffer, or just look at him like they want to cut him to pieces.
-
It was several hours later, after a new group of guards have taken the place of their comrades. The dark figure slowly move in the shadows, and knocked out several of the guards one by one. These people might be well trained warriors, but they're not professional guards, so they're not as skilled at keeping watch for the sneaky types. After a few of them were pulled to the side, and created enough opening for the figure, they took out one last guard near Asher's cage and got up to him.
"Asher Rorke?"
Judging from the voice, and the body build of the figure, they seems to be female. After getting a confirmation, she quickly picks up the lock of the cage, and pulls Asher out of the cage. She pulls out a sharp knife and slice the tendons apart, taking a bit of time due to the toughness of the material.
"The Lord of Gransela sent me with a message, 'now you owe me not one, but three times". I'll distract them, you run away. On foot, they'll discover you on horse."
The agent that James sent seems to know what she's doing, at least more so than Asher have done earlier. She give Asher a small pack of ration, and gives him some instructions. She didn't give him any weapon, mainly since she lack much of it. Granselian agents are well known for their stealth ability, and sometimes are able to assassinate skilled warriors in a tightly guarded base, but that's done with skills, not with powerful weapons.
After Asher's ready, she pushes the dish of coal towards the tents, which quickly causes a fire to start up. The agent then dash towards another direction, revealing her position on purpose so the rebels would attempt to chase after her instead of Asher, giving him a chance to escape before they realize his escape.
As a side note, his equipment were taken away, and hidden some where in the camp. Which means if he attempts to stay and try to find them, he'll likely be surrounded again by the remaining rebels, and it's unlikely that Gransela would have sent anymore help for such foolish attempts.

When the hours passed Asher was napping til he heard something. Looking around he began to notice guards were there then suddenly not. His head now fully awake began to look around wondering what was goinjg on til the person revealed themselves to him. That person at first he noticed her large assets which reminded him of Keiana but the hair of course could be seen as different. He wondered if this was some kind of weird joke or something because to see a woman just show up out of nowhere made him wonder if the rebels think using a woman would make him talk. It might work... that 'might' was a bit on the good chance area. But what strike him most was the mismatched eyes, both unique and one could tell she was a mix breed of more then one country.
"Yes?", Asher soon asked the figure.
When he heard the message he felt like kicking himself in the shin, which he wondered if James liked making him into mass debt. 'Wait... he works for Exion and with bankers usually love debt. Also what the hell?!! Why does James have so many women about with him!! In fact why I got a feeling he is after more then that Lady Florina!', Asher soon came to a thought.
"Well tell him, at this rate I might as well be a debt ridden man on the streets with this amount of it stacking up.", Asher soon replied which he was struggling to add in the next part which was forced out.
"Tell him err... t.... thank you...", Asher managed to say hard to admit being in debt to Lord Gransela once more.
When he got his pack he saw what he got but notice... his weapons were not with the pack.
"Fuck... really especially those twin blades, that is a family heirloom. As well the revolvers were custom made and given to me by Carmen.", Asher soon said to himself when felt like really being pissed off.
Knowing full well escaping was priority he was soon made a vow.
"Whoever the hell you are, I will be back and getting my things back.", Asher vowed as he quickly moved to escape. Following the instructions he moved quickly but quietly to avoid any guards and kept to the darkness. He wasn't sure how long it will be before they would figure it out, not to mention they have a tracker which also meant he had to be quick.
