While bored at work doing nothing I randomly decided to check out the old board, then saw there was a new one with somewhat fairly recent activity. What's going on? It's been awhile. Part of me still wants to RP Gundam a lot, at least basic OYW or Gryps, but I just feel overwhelmed with post-college adult life. How's everyone?

Hey you're alive! We pretty much just assumed you found a life and went on doing other stuffs instead. We could always use more active players consider right now it's pretty much just me, Richter, and Pitman that's posting. We still talk often in the chat on AIM though.

I mean I'm working, engaged, and have our own house, so that's something. Moved to NYC for awhile then wanted to come back home to CT. I noticed Evan, Carlos, and Hector were on the board too, are they still around often? I'm not sure what's going on in the RP boards right now, but once in awhile I always thought it would be cool to RP Gundam like back in the old days.

Carlos is still around, and he plays on occasion. Hec doesn't really play but he's active in the AIM group, as is Carlos. Evan kind of disappeared from both not long after I joined, which was a couple of years ago by now.

Pitman is an admin too while Carlos is a mod, so they keep stuff running.
It is a shame he bailed all the same, yeah.

Oh my cus, it's an Aki. I thought you were extinct! Claimed by the trepidations of adulthood and the trap falls of the Temple of Poon! I haven't been RPing of late. But James and Richter keep one going, dragging Pitman along as he goes on about whatever article he's paraphrasing that day. I do have an idea for an RP. But no work on it yet. I feel as if I've consigned myself to the never ending torture of stopping and starting on ideas. D:

Get back to AIM you, it's hard to have conversations on the boards. Don't think you can get away from us! D:

Hey... I know you. You're that silver guy that thinks he's a Char.
Edit: also, after rewatching Zeta and the compilation movies. I do kind of want to get muh Gryps on.

Gryps would be really cool right about now, I have no idea what the stuff going on here is right now.

A lot of the recentish stuff has either been AU's of gundam or outright OC settings. Except James's one he just ran, that was based on a game series that didn't really ever come to the west.
I don't think we've done any straight UC games in a year or two.

The last one we did was my Time Travelers, a mini-RPG where the players were in the F91 era, but warped back to OYW along with a handful of MS and a single ship. The idea is that we can affect how history ends up with our own actions, using powerful MS and ship but with limited resources so we'll have to rely on EFF or Zeon. However like the recent Metal Max RPG it got killed by Pitman's in-activeness when he wanted to pull a side story arc and I refused.
Recently we've been doing more of these kinds of small RPGs rather than the traditional ones, since it takes less times to set up, and requires less work for players as well.
