The heavy transport shuttle arrested it's descent as it neared the starport. It wasn't a civilian craft, it was normally used for military supply drops, however it would do well enough in it's current role. The various vertical thrusters whined as they strained to compensate for the sheer bulk of the craft. Until finally it touched down. It did not power down it's systems as it was not staying long enough to warrant such an action. It's main ramp lowered, not having a personal ramp, intended to deliver large crates of supplies.
Only one person walked off the ramp. Patriel Sarcanus of House Sarcanus. Most of the other Houses made sending their heirs to study in this city's great Academy. However House Sarcanus had not sent an heir in over forty years. They were a proud militant House. It had it's own military academies and disdained what they perceived as nothing more then frivolous show boating by the other Houses.
The young man had short clipped black hair and wore a red uniform of sorts. Unlike many other Houses, it was utilitarian in it's design, not meant to be flashy or iconic. Though it was seen as out of the ordinary, simply for being too ordinary. He was followed behind by his his belongings and metal 7 foot tall metal box that was reinforced. Several attendants from the starport quickly arrived to help him with the items. An air carriage arrive shortly after and he boarded it.
"Where to my lord?" Said an automated voice.
"Academia Supremus," The man said with a sigh as he looked out the window. The vehicle took off and made it's way through the mass traffic of other air conveyance. Flying through the city proper. The spire buildings rose up to the clouds and disappeared below into a thick fog. Dotted along them all kind holographic projects advertising a myriad of things. These places were more for the upper middle class. The upper class and nobility enjoyed beautifully paved streets, lush trees, and extravagant architecture of days long since forgotten.
The air carriage buzzed over such a place as it raced toward the school's arrival pad. It was his first day of his...exile.

On the computer consoles different officers were at work though they all wore the uniform of the Empire it was for sure an ship of war not of peace. Alas today was for a special occasion and the leader of the ship sat on her Captain's chair who was very calm.
"Warp out in 3... 2... 1... Warp Out Completed. Arriving at Planet Escalon as scheduled.", one officer reported.
"Good even though we received a distress call from that freighter ship I thought we might be late after fighting those bandits.", a female voice soon said in a bored voice.
"Vice Admiral we are efficient in our work since your father, grandmother and her own grandmother have all joined the Imperial Navy in your family we know how to deal with all sit-", the first officer was saying only to be interrupted by the woman.
"Oh shut up I known you since you were five and the continuous flattery bores me.", the woman soon said back.
"This is Escalon control please verify your ship and reason of arrival.", a Starport com stated.
"This is His Imperial Highness Ship Annaroze, here on on transportation and finishing patrol.", the com officer replied.
"Data verified please dock on Orbital Dock Three.", the com finished.
"Well that is over.... where the hell is my brother.", the woman replied.
"I believe he should be at the side view watching the ships.", the first officer soon replied.
The woman sighed then replies, "I will go get him myself."
In other part of HIHS Annaroze
Ven continued to stare out of the side view watching different ships docked at the capital planet, he should be happy that he finally arrived at the capital only knowing images through what he read or saw back at home at Planet Aurlia but it was all in a dark cloud. It was the time of year again for all the nobles to send their heirs toward Academia Supremus. But on this day to be sent well Ven felt he should even be here.
It was only yesterday I was but an Earl now I am Marquis and heir to my grandmother's Duchy... why Gen? Why did you die for what reason?
Gen Avenor of House Avenor was the real heir to the Duchy of Aurlia after his father death during the Tetranni War that happened over 16 years ago. Even knowing that he never saw his father face since he was only one when it happened regardless his elder brother told him the stories of how extreme the war was and his father sacrificing himself and his ship to take down the the Tetranni Flagship which helped successfully allow the rest of the Imperial Navy to break the Tetranni Fleet in victory for the Empire. As Ven continued to look at the ships he noticed one ship in preculiar.
"That's....", Ven was saying til he heard another voice.
"The HIHS Athena... flagship of the Fleet and Grand Admiral's ship.", a female voice soon said.
"Sister it seems you came to get me.", Ven soon said.
"Well brother dear its time for you to head down to the planet.", the sister soon replied.
"Ya I know Luresia... but why do I..", Ven was saying til he was interrupted by his sister.
"Ven Avenor you are now Marquis of Venrilia which means your the heir to the Duchy our Grandmother controls. Our family for generations have been apart of this deal the Emperor has made to prevent war with the other Great Houses. It is this that kept most of the peace. Your brother came here 8 years ago when he was called but now as he is dead you are now the heir which means you MUST come here to learn the ways to rule and Noblesse Oblige. It may seem silly as half of the people you meet will likely become your enemy but you must its an Imperial order.", Luresia Avenor soon said.
"Its no use in fighting you and your a Vice Admiral of the fleet... fine I will head down there.", Ven finally finished.
"Good your bags are already in the shuttle though it may seem silly to have a military shuttle take you to the starport but it will suffice now GO.", Luresia.
Ven felt some command in that voice she was a leader of men and a woman of war but more so being like a second mother with their mother and father dead; it left his older brother, older sister and his younger half sister all that is left of the main branch of the family. Of course there were many side branches and plenty of them but still. Taking a deep breath he entered the shuttle down towards the planet being his new home a time he hoped it wouldn't be too bad. Knowing his luck it will be bad and he dreaded the outcome that could result.
"Arriving at Starport Leema please take all your bags my lord.", one officer said who was also on the shuttle.
"Right...", Ven soon said as he grabbed his bags really forcing him without servants to do this?!
Ven really thought his sister was crazy their nobles who suppose to have that but no she says he has to grow up and he had to do his own work... figures. As he traveled in the Starport he wasn't really wearing any fancy clothing at all even commoners would think he was one of them and not of the Nobility.
Great lets hope I don't get lost.... uhh which way is to the air carriages... fuck I dunno.
Looking up at the sign it looked kinda of new to him being never left his own planet he was kinda of lost.
"Lost?", a female voice said.
Ven turned which seemed to be a woman in her late thirties and wore glasses on her side was a side bag that seemed to carry folder which itself felt old school.
"Ya would you know where are the air carriages?", ven asked.
"Ah I see a new comer to the Great City of Echelon... well I would go to sector three right here and that should lead to the air carriages and I am actually heading over there here I will show you.", the woman said as she lead him towards Sector Three.
On their arrival it looked like many of the upper middle class were waiting on their vehicles. Normally if one was a noble one would take the private section lead to by servants who knew where to go to private vehicles but being practically abandoned on the planet by his sister and telling him he HAD to go alone much to his protest he had to take the military shuttle down and into commoner territory which itself made him felt more ashamed to be forced to ask help of a commoner to take place to place.
"And here is the air carriages.... now you know where to go yes?", the woman soon said.
"Ah thanks a bunch I dunno how to repay you-", Ven was saying til he was interrupted.
"No need just helping out the youth of this generation get to know places. Especially with all the rumors floating about and other things its nice to have peace.", she soon said.
"Rumors?", Ven asked.
"Oh nothing much just the silly nobility having arguments like normal in their infinite stupidity nothing much really.", the woman soon finished.
If only she knew that she was talking to a nobleman right now... ha.. ha...
"Ah I see.", Ven replied.
"Anyways I got to get going my air carriage to Echelon Imperial Research Center is here.", the woman soon said.
"EIRC?!! You mean you work at the R and D of the Empire?!!", Ven soon said amazed.
"Ya but don't tell anyone this but I actually working on a new Power Armor that might help revolutionize the military but don't tell anyone that that is a secret.", the woman said as she left.
"Uhh right!!", Ven soon said.
I guess even commoners can get really high up there huh... well its time to head to the Academia...
Entering the air carriage the man soon asks, "Where to son?"
"Uhh to the Academia Supremus please.", Ven replied.
"Uhh yes milord.", the man said nervously.
Damn its that time again must act accordingly but why take the cheap air carriages and not the high class ones? uhh No matter., the driver soon replied.
Ven looked out of the window and saw the city in its majesty.... still the dread in his body continue to creep up on him.

You know it's not a regular, peaceful day when a massive battleship suddenly appears outside the area you're watching today. The operators stare at the giant object that managed to escape their radar detection and appear so close to them, but they're happy that the ship doesn't seem to be aggressive, or else they'd all be dead judging from the amount of weapons visible on the ship. A few moments later they received a call from the ship they're staring at.
"This is the Akantor, here for transportation and... resupply."
The officers looked at each other before checking out the records, after seeing the ship is from Gransela, they all made their decision in a flash.
"Eh, please dock on Orbital Dock eight."
-
There's a slightly strange sight on the dock, a young man is standing in front of a group of tough looking soldiers, yelling out orders at them, two women standing behind the young man. One of them looking around as if trying to watch out for anyone trying to get close. The other just stool there with a smile on her face... but her eyes aren't smiling at all.
"All of you are to be stationed here until further noticed! For all those lazy sack of maggots won't have to be worried as this will count towards your deed so you will be rewarded for this! Now if I catch you fools causing any problems then I'll use your dismembered head as a footstool! Do I get myself clear!?"
"Yes my lord!!"
"Now get back to your post! I won't allow any slacking until you have done your job! Get moving now! Dismissed!"
"Yes my lord!!"
The group of soldiers marches back into the ship, and the young man turn and leave, with the two women following him.
-
"Lead the way Reimu, relax Elena, we're not in a war zone."
"Your lord, it's my job to keep you safe!"
"Well it's my order to stop it, and you can stop calling me lord while we're here... you will follow my orders, right?"
"Yes m... I mean yes sir."
"Good, well here comes our ride."
The group enters the air carriage, and head towards the Academia Supremus.
