Anyone happen to have any dimensions or guess about the size of these things? I'm not really hugely concerned with the size of the funnels, but I could of sworn I read bits being meters big, but I just don't remember.

If we go by the animations, Funnels seems to be around the size of a MS hand, but smaller than heads, so around 2 meters?
Bits seems bigger, roughly double the size?

My only reference is how they look in some of the Gundam games, in which case I'd have to agree with James. I was trying to look for various images of bits and things but it's hard to tell what size they are without some context... edit: fc08.deviantart.net/fs17/f/2007/168/9/c/Qubeley_by_sandrum.jpgI did see this, and it's fan-art, but if it's accurate you can kind of have an idea.

It is pretty accurate from what I've seen. I used to have the action figure of that MS, and the funnels were smaller than it's hands. In Mobile Suit Gundam vs Zeta Gundam, funnels are little more than colored dots on screen, and the Pyscho MKII's Bits are freaking massive, and easily visible. Same with the Elmeth. It's bits are pretty big and easy to see, as well as avoid.
