... or is the idea of combining the firepower of a Tiger tank with the ruggedness and reliability (and to a diminished extent mobility) of a T-34 the very definition of awesomosity? Like possibly the perfect design concept for a 1940's tech-level armored vehicle if we ever did the Alternate Earth RP idea again.

The first two times I saw the Maus in World of the Tanks. It got surrounded and they other team couldn't kill it before they capped our base.
After the soft reset, I saw a team of three of them. Of course there was an IS-7 on the same side and four IS-7 on the other team, along with other heavy tanks. Unfortunely we lost because everyone went one side and left the base and the SPGs defenseless. One IS-7 capped us. My Jagdpanzer didn't do squat against the IS-7 trying to defend. Gameplay wise, the Maus is kinda meh, but man can that thing absorb a ton of damage. Yes I know the IS-7 is more like a modern tank!

I love the Maus myself, but have you ever seen this monster: The plans for this thing never got off paper, but it's classified as a "Land Cruiser" and has an 800mm Cannon(Just to give a sense of the scale the two small guns on each side of the main gun are 150mm Howitzers).
