What does that even mean? Perhaps our east coast friends can explain for us.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXelOjDxugMMade a new clip showing how SPGs work. I may do an AT. But I would have to get rid of a tank. They only let us have 5 tanks. I guess the MS-1 could go. My little badass : (

They are pretty powerful in the starting matches which are limited to only starting tanks and 2nd tier tanks.
Once you get passed that though. You see that most tanks are decently fast with better armor, health, and guns. So arty isn't as prominent. But their power can still be felt as they still do most damage per attack.
EDIT: I'm going to be saving up gold for the Churchill. A heavy tank. Since it is beta. They have been giving us 150 gold a day so that we can test through all stages of the tanks. The Churchill is 1500 gold. I have 900 saved up. So hopefully I can show you guys a heavy tank. Unfortunately I didn't go down the heavy tank tree of either nation. So this is just easier.

Nope. Just before I posted that. I had two really good games with my T-34. I was able to make my way across the railway to the other base. Then I was able to finish off an AT. And we won. The second one I was able to defend our base and take out a tank. And use it's corpse for a shield against a different tank that was trying to shoot me from behind.
It was awesome.
But if you watch the video. You can see why the Churchill isn't that great. I've leveled up the crew a bit more. And it can be fun. But often enough it's chop liver to even medium tanks.
I want to get the anti-frag lining module to increase it's armor 15% and the ram loading module for 10% faster reload. But those are very expensive. Even with the gold they give us.

I just had the most epic battle. Me, in my T-34, I start in late because of lag. But I head down the side of the map where the city is. Two light tanks come through and start attacking our Arty. I manage to damage one enough for someone to kill it. And then the second one I do the same. Then I head into the city. We surround a poor bastard and I blast him from behind.
We notice three tanks are at our base. So most of our guys turn around to engage. Me and another guy make our way to the enemy base.
He goes after the arty on the right. I go after the T-28 that's chasing him. As I finish the T-28 my ally gets destroyed. Fortunately he took that arty out. And so I'm on the way to the other arty. Which is this big honking SU-8. But I manage to get in beside it and then behind it. Destroy him and get into the capture circle.
Meanwhile two tigers are up at our base. My remaining team manages to hold them off long enough for me to start capping before they do.
We get the victory. And I get "Invader" achievement.
This game can be so abrupt and awful. But it can also be a lot of fun when you catch a break and play it smart. Plus having your crew above 65% really helps. I want to get my crew to 100%. So I can have maximum efficiency from my T-34.

Well the T34 is arguably the "best" tank (all factors considered) of WW2. I mean other than the Sherman, what other WW2 tanks do you see still in the arsenals of smaller countries even today? Certainly not those over-engineered, accident-prone Panzers. x__x Superior German engineering my ass... just give me a Soviet tank. Anybody who knows how to load/fire a cannon and drive a truck/tractor can operate them. Also, I'm seriously considering coming out of semi-retirement from gaming if this is really that good. And when I called tank destroyers glass cannons I was more thinking of the makeshift open-topped variety the Germans and Soviets used until they could develop better machines. I.E. the Marder-series, the Grille-series, the Nashorn, the Panzerjaeger I, and the Russian SU-76 (which crews loathed being equipped with instead of real tanks so much they called it the "Bitch"). As well as the models that were basically cargo vehicles fitted with armor and a cannon;( Panzerjaeger RSO, Diana, SdKfz 251/22, ZiS-41 and SU-57 for example. The Americans had some of the latter type too, the T55 (basically an Armored Car fitted with an anti-tank gun in a fixed mount) and a version of the M3 halftrack fitted with a 37mm and later 57mm or 75mm gun. (Actually the first American "tank destroyer" was just a jeep with some armor on the front and a 37mm AT gun in place of the rear passengers/cargo space; completely useless against anything but the Japanese light tanks in the Pacific, but it was intended to fight in Europe x__x)

"I could so team kill right now."
I shouted at you to do it about six times, before realizing I was watching a video.

xD I was tempted. But then I remember someone shooting me in the back once. I didn't much like. As for what Hector said. The T-34 is a pretty good tank, after you get the upgraded suspension and engine, along with the 57mm gun. Also having crew with good skill % helps a lot. But I find that the tank simply cannot take a VK3001 one on one. It can destroy my T-34. And it's distressing to see the shells simply bounce off. Even on an occasion where I came up behind it and was firing right into it's rear. It destroyed me. That could have just been some bad luck on the bouncing shells Some of those tanks you mentioned are in the game. The Panzerjaeger I is the first german AT tank you can get. The Marder II follows that one up. The SU-76 is also in the game. And here is my latest video. It's a few mashed together clips of my T-34 WoT T-34

So I was looking around on the forums. They released some details about historic campaign and clan wars.
From the sounds of it. Clans will battle it out for territories. And they can make alliances with each other. I'm a little concern of just how effective it's going to be. They said the bigger clans will actually have a harder time holding on to things. But I don't know. They haven't put this in the beta. And I haven't heard any word on when the next patch is going to hit.
A bit more a found
- Some tastiest territories will bring additional revenue in gold (I can't tell the frequency of gold assignment). Moreover, there is also some “economy” and “crafting”, along with monetary revenues; clans can build factories, which produce special tanks and tank components/ammo over time. - The clan may include up to 100 players. Each player is visualized as a chip on the clan war map. By moving these chips through territories, the clan commander is splitting forces and will giving orders to attack/defend this or that territory - The clan will get its landing zone again and will try to get back its territories. There are some other options as joining other clans or become mercenaries. There is a Mercenary market, where Clan Masters can recruit such players for reinforcing their clans in Clan Wars or other events.
It all sounds very interesting. And I'm anxious to see it in action.
I personally will be sticking with this game. It's a free to play game. And it hasn't let me down like others. So if they implement this feature in a good way. I'll be sure to buy some premium time.
