Mikhail, don't you think that you're kinda reapping what you sow? I mean, big ships, big tech, you're gonna be kinda lacking in numbers. But make up for it in quality. That is your choice to play like that ;o
In regards to what James said about MS. The only way they'd be powerful, in my opinion, is if they were equipped with weapons that allowed them to destroy ships out right. Granted on the ground they have certain tactical advantages. But in space, I think space fighters can go toe to toe with MS.
Edit: I'm actually at work. One of the rare days where I get internet access. So my post was delayed.
Increased starting pay sounds good to me.

Well, of course, but you have to understand that, with the way starting prices are for everyone without the price cut, the first week would be rather uneventful and rather uninspiring. As is, I'm already going to be at a severe disadvantage to everyone due to the prices of my units. I'm expecting to be outnumbered, but I'm also expecting to kick more ass with less units. xP

Carlos: Well remember, I have to start somewhere, it would be unreasonable for my MS to all of a sudden be powerful enough to kill anything in one hit, right now, they're enough to be a decent unit on land, but not YET enough to be a great unit in space. Big Ship Big Tech Big Cannon and low number... sounds familiar doesn't it... anyways, if you ask me, that tactic only works in real life where there's a limited population. - I was thinking, now the number of infantries are by ten... what if one of us have heavy infantries that has a bunch of rocket launchers or something similar? won't that do more damage than tanks?

You manage the squads accordingly. You're not going to pack a squad full of rocket launchers. That would impede their mobility and limit their weapons load out. Remember, these guys are fairly normal people, not Space Marines of the God Emperor of Man.
For instance, when I pay for the Laser Cannon upgrade for my Eccia squads, only two of them are going to be outfitted with Laser Cannons, not the whole squad. Laser Cannons are meant to be anti-vehicle weapons, not all-round ass fuckers dished out to an entire squad.

Well you priced them accordingly, rightttt? If they're priced accordingly. I don't see how that would be a problem. If it is a problem. We're going to have to organize it differently. Like less per platoon for those types.

While I'm at it..
Now I see what Mik was talking about. I was thinking of forming a small ship squadron. But all I could afford was one cruiser. It's fighter compliment, because MS were too expensive. And just three corvettes. Which are only a step above in pay over a suit..
I don't have much money for defenses. So I was thinking. Perhaps we could get a "starting defense pay" for fixed defenses and small scale ships. Basically things we won't be using for attack.
I'm saying that because it seems like some people would rather not turn it into a huge fleet battle, even though our starting TW is pretty low. I personally would rather a bigger starter paycheck. Since we are supposed to be bigger organizations then just one cruiser. But I'm fine with just a starter defense pay augment our 10,000 starter pay.
