It was in the middle of a secret space dock, one that was hidden from almost all except for the top brass of this base. The crew had been receiving training through simulators for almost 2 years now, and now it finally the time for them to discover what exactly is the reason for their training. "Ladies and gentlemen, I understand that you are among the finest soldiers that we have in our ranks, handpicked for this mission." Admiral Tiamet stood before a large group of people, looking even more serious and strict than he usually did. "Now that your training has been completed, the strategic corp has determined that you are all ready for your mission." He looks to the side to another soldier, who flips several switches. The light in the dock turns on, brightening up the room to reveal a giant warship, one that could be matched with the designs of Aldarsi and Krotosi.
"Officers, this is the TASS Lazrin, a warship that was secretly built for past two years. This will be the vessel for your mission, to scout on ahead, and to find an opening to change the tides of this long stretched war. Head on inside and get familiar with it before you depart. Other than yourself, one more person will join you on this trip. I want the main officers to head to block GC-3 to meet that person, they will have all the details for you. I wish you all good luck on your mission, stay safe, return victorious." Then the Admiral leaves along with his aides, with nothing else to add except for the hopes he placed in the crew.
The inside of the ship are similar to what the crew dealt with during their simulation. The ship is huge, larger than even the Godus Class, and have all the suitable methods for travelling inside the ship. The weapons are all functioning at their peak, and all systems are ready to go.

When the time had come Glen woke up early in the morning and was in full uniform with the usual colors of the Spacy uniforms could be seen in a mirror. Its has been quite some time since he was called to be apart of this secret project. Of course the main part of being a test pilot of a secret mobile suit for the last 4 years then plus two years that evnetually included others. One could take Glen was far more prepared then others on the ship, as he knew his assignment before others to a point. Well the mobile suit part the rest of it was classified. "Well its time to go." Soon heading out he ran into Rico who he had befriended within the last two years of simulation. "Yo Glen how you this morning?" Glen turned to the fellow pilot and soon gives a shrug "Well the time is now Rico whatever occurs lets hope for the best"
Then it was as they would soon arrive to the meeting the entire crew all in full uniform it was a sea of black and yellow
Glen soon walked toward the position of other pilots as even the Captain of the mobile suit squadron was already at his spot. Glen being the "special case" as he was techincally not apart of the pilot chain of command as the Pilot of a Experimental Prototype and Rico was his wingman they were techincally out of command chain of the squad leaders but instead took direct orders from a Special Commissioned Commander. Only the XO and Captain overrided them. A Complex situation intself it didn't matter as they were all apart of the same crew. Even off to the side there was a detachment of Ark Marines. They were the best soldiers one could have. Better then the Ground Forces for Planet side fighting plus the best in internal ship combat. Their uniforms were different and even ranking was different. Of course they even had ground based units within the ship but in few number.
When Admiral Tiamet soon came up to give his speech he heard well and without question as all were at attention. So that was the special mission. To create an opening and possible avoid unnessary issues. Glen soon thought, in his mind. No Wonder they even had a diplomatic corps within the ship as well. Much is now makes sense on what the ship was and could even explain how the Project Slyph itself might of gotten started. But what made less sense the project preceeded the Lazrin. Even the manual he had still had redacted parts and evne systems he was not allowed or even Javie to touch. Dr. Luthor whatever he done he now had more questions but the good Dr is away and likely won't be apart of this mission.
As soon as the speech was over Glen soon nodded to Rico to head off but soon someone he didn't expect to stop them. "Sub Lieutenant your requested to come to the meeting as well." Which Glen quickly saluted Dr. Noel who was techincally a Lieteninant Commander. "Oh but I am nothing but a junior officer, not really.." "You been personally requested... possibly due to your unit's special status." Glen read between the lines then turns to Rico who he soon waves away who then split apart. Whatever this meeting he would soon enter the ship and whistle on how it looked fully ready. He followed Dr. Noel until he arrived where the rest of the command staff would be waiting. Noticing everyone he soon was put next to Javie the Head Engineer who nodded to his presence. Whatever came next they were ready.

The meeting was not held at the bridge or at a conference room, it took place at a quite strange location that seems out of place from the rest of this high technological ship. As the group reach block GC-3, they would find themselves in a small library, with shelves surrounding a large table enough to fit everyone. It does make sense for warships to have small library to keep historic or military based information, it's just that compared to the rest of the ship, the place seems awfully conservative with the paper materials. As members arrive in the room and eventually sit down, something seems strange. If they would count their numbers, they would realize that they had an extra count, someone else managed to sit down without anyone noticing.
'Settle down.' The voice was calm but could strangely be heard by everyone in the room, it would a take a moment to realize that no one in this room heard the voice with their ears, but instead the voice echoed into their minds. By now everyone should be able to guess where the voice came from, from the person that seems the most out of place here. There was a young woman that was not in the standard uniform, and instead wearing a dress that you may as well see on the streets. She doesn't look like a soldier either, much too frail looking even when compared to the least trained class.
A few questions might come to mind of several members in this room, but their questions were answered before they could voice it. 'Patchouli Knowledge. Special Commissioned Commander. Yes, I am the person you saw a few years back, Mr. D'phar. You'll find out in a second on why I'm here, Ms. Muu.' She did not speak, or even look at the people that she communicated to, she did however answered several of their questions in advance. "I'm the Psionic Officer of this ship. I also have the role of Ship Councilor, Technology Consultant, and several small duties." She finally spoke regularly, with the same quiet voice as the one that echoed in their mind, lacking much emotion or interest.
"If you have any question, you can ask me now. Otherwise, do not expect me to answer them all during the trip, unless it is the absolutely emergency." She sat back on her chair and waited. Even if she could read their minds, at times it is not very good for personal relationship to guess and voice all of them. Answering all of the questions in their mind would took quite some time as well, so it may be better for them to figure out for themselves on what they really want to ask her. "You may each ask me one question, but I might not give you an answer for it."
Nahum Orizabal
Everyone had so much questions then answers to ask but before anyone could the new person who named herself Patchouli answered them before they could even ask. Francesca soon stopped to even speak which itself was telling. Glen soon saw the women and l remembered the pod he found. Before anyone else spoke again Mechan was the first to speak and soon asks, "I see I take you are fulyl qualified on your duties?"
A basic question yes but to Mechan he didn't really care as long she could do her job. It was after all only way to get in on this mission if the Admiral allowed it. That alone was enough he just needed confirmation. All the whole Noel soon pondered on this Psionic. He was one of the msot skeptical of those type but as it were becoming more and more common within the Terran Alliance. They needed any fighting chance against the Krotosi and evne using a new type of human. Noel was a man of science and did have a open mind to a point. He knew he didn't even need to ask the woman since she could tell what they were thinking before they could ask. Out of everyone there everyone kept their mouth shut thinking she might be reading their minds. Only the next one to ask would be Glen himself who felt out of place here, being the lowest rank officer here.
"So if your the woman from the pod. Then do you know what exactly is going on here?" Glen was blunt about it but he was already involved in this situation. The ship he was assigned to as a newly made pilot and the trouble finding that pod did caused alot of issues. Namely most of the crew who were with him are now dead. He had so much to ask and why she was here made him now more wondering what was going on. Also Dr. Luthor suddenly leaving a week ago was also unexplained.
Rabite
"Of course, and I have the experience go with these roles, over 200 years worth of it." That might not make sense to most of them in the room, but Glen should be able to understand what she meant by 200 years. The pod that he found was roughly of that age, back when Terran still had a planet of their own. "I am different from most if not all of the existing Psychic that you know of, Lieutenant Commander. There were a time when our numbers are few but could harness much greater power than the present, I am among these early few, and you'll need me to make use of some of the equipment installed in this ship. You'll find out once the ship departs."
She did not explain further, but instead turned towards Glen. "Your question is quite vague, but I'll give you a few advices. You may not want to place as much trust on some people, they are not what you expect them to be, be it individuals or their nation." It was a vague advice in return, but nevertheless it was a suggestion for Glen to be more careful, about who she did not explain but he could probably give a few guesses. "One of the mission that none of you were informed, is to search for the lost technology of 'Earth'. Without it, any victory will not be completely. Find these shards of history, bring them back safely, and do not let them fall into the hands of any others."
"I have devised several routes for the ship, Captain. You may choose one and follow it, or advance with your own decision, either way is fine. I do recommend a test of our weapons after we have departed, inform me when or if you decided to do so." That would be the end of the meeting, if there were no other questions. Before they left the room, Glen would have heard her voice in his mind again. 'I would however, prefer if you have the decency to keep your stares above my chin, Captain." Either way, the ship is ready to go.
Nahum Orizabal
Glen heard the reply and soon took what she stated which made him wonder. What exactly she knows and how the humans of the past were. It intrigued him and soon somewhat did have an idea why he was brought here. Well regardless the time he could even think of anything else soon stating about routes the Captain soon nods, "Aye.. it would be best to start somewhere. If the truth of the mission is to find lost Earth Technology it would be a boon to the Alliance and giving us a fighting chance." Upon deciding that it would also be decided to agree with the weapons testing before they head off to see if the ship was in order. All the while as Glen was getting up from his seat he soon overheard a comment that made the Captain pause which made him wonder. Was the Captain into younger women?
Of course this itself was an oxymoron as she would be the eldest one here. Meaning it would be that weird body of someone young but mind of an elder. That alone possibly would make the Captain have mixed feelings. Well Glen just shrugs it off as he begins to leave Noel came up to him as they were leaving. "Have a moment?" Nodding back to his superior officer he soon follows him out from the library and into the hall away away from others.
"So it seems you know that woman? Wish to tell?", Noel soon asked which Glen put a hand on the back his head as he scratched it for a second. "Around four years ago when I was assigned to my first ship ever as a backup pilot. We found how you put this... a long lost ship from anicent Earth. Inside we found a cyro which so happens to be her..." Noel soon was very interested at what he stated which made sense, his search for knowelodge like all scientist is an endless pursuit.
"Still you were surprised seeing her here? What exactly occured back then?" Glen soon thinks on what to say then replies "Nothing but trouble. Sometimes its best not to know the truth but a lie is better. Ask too many questions and it might just bite you in the ass." Not a threat but a warning a warning of something Glen knew and Glen didn't wish to talk about it. After all, the crew that he was apart of well he is the last survivor.

Patchouli was found in library, which is not surprising considering it may as well be her room. The young(?) lady of known age was reading a book that's thicker than a dictionary, and did not look up even when Glen and Noel enters. "I assume you are both here for answers. Have a seat." As they sit down around the table, a set of teacups with hot tea would float out of the small kitchen to the side of this room, and are set in front of the two. Looks like her words are true in that she is difficult from those more common psychic that shows up from time to time in the Alliance.
"One of you want a history lesson I suppose, the other wants to hear some more about our mission, that will be fine as well." She closes the book that she was reading, and sets it on the table, before waving her hand to pull a set of documents over. "I know you two haven't heard of the name Gransela before, but that is one of the mission for this ship, to find the remaining technology of the past." As she talked, she feel slightly different from last time they had a conversation, feeling less cold and have more emotion in her voice.
"Gransela Corporation was the corporation that I was in, a powerful company that controlled over 10% of the United Government's industry. The company produced a wide range of goods, from bicycles to state of the art warships, and invented much of the advance technology of the time. Signs show that some of the organization had escaped the great destruction, we are to find their decendants or ruins, so that the Alliance could make use of these lost technology." It was a name unheard of indeed, only the oldest, and top secret documents might have extremely brief mentions of even the name itself. The irony is that Krotosi and Andarsi actually have more record of the name, but no one in the Alliance would have known about that.
"This ship were built using some of these lost technology. I'm sure some of you knew about the ship beforehand, and wondered about the changes to it... that will be my doing. I revealed what I could remember and that the alliance could harness, and used those technology to redesign this ship. Which is the reason why over half of the arsenal are based on technology that were never used on any other ships in the alliance." She stopped to sip her own tea, giving the two a few seconds to absorb what she told them. "Now Sub-Lieutenant, what do you want to hear from me?"
Nahum Orizabal
As both entered the library it was expected as the rest of the ship itself was preparing for the weapons test as they were on their way. Glen had really nothing to do but prep the Sylph Alpha. He had many questions for the woman especially of what transpired but on the way before he could enter he noticed the doctor from earlier. Noel was at the door but have not entered then turned his head to Glen. Glen soon sighs "I told you its better not to know the truth and live a lie" Noel soon chuckles "Ah but I cannot live a lie only a truth." That alone told his character and his search for information was never over. Never the less both men would enter the room before them noticing Patch was already expecting both of them to not their surprise.
As both soon took a seat Glen already had some information on what she was saying, he was after was there when they found her... and found the horrible truth. Noel listened carefully and once she was about done Noel soon asks "So your saying that this Gransela Corporation have survived and the technology we humans used to have. If so how the hell did the Krotosi not find them or even." "During the chaos of 200 years ago we lost much of what occured Doctor. Remember the Terran Alliance origins were not a centralized government but a coalition of Space Arks as they were flong across the galaxy. The sole reason why the Krotosi come after us as we are likely the most organized pocket of Terrans now in this Galaxy. It makes sense they would see us most threat if this Gransela Corporation or even remnants survived they could of stayed under the radar. Well whatever the top brass thinking they must be desperate to hinge on a single ship." Which itself was true, to fund such a journey must tell how desperate the Alliance military were.
With before they could continue she soon sipped her tea in such a very refined manner which tells you her origins were of a lady. Glen finally understood what she meant he had a ton of questions especially on what shit he went through. "Well I got a bunch and many of them I couldn't just ask during the meeting. First off and most important how the hell did you escape the explosion of the TASS Columbus? Wait no that is probably can be easilly explained no more importantly the thing I saw... the thing that attacked us. What the hell was it?" That thing was the most distrubing thing he saw and he escaped with his life. Adding more glen continues "Also that box... the box that was put into the Sylph that I remember seeing on your old ship somehow magically appears in the very experimental prototype I end up joining. Finally what the hell did you do to me there?" Many question that even Noel would not even know he stopped and wondered if Glen was mad but now wondered how he knew the woman.

"Sub Lieutenant, you're an expert on your field, skilled at piloting a mobile suit and using it's weapons... but tell me, do you know how to operate a brain surgery? The same reason here, without prior knowledge, Kortosi and Andarsi would have no knowledge on how to use these technology. I can guess that they have found and hid some of them under their control, but using them is a different story." At the mention of the lost history, and the origins of Terran Alliance, her eyes seems to close slightly to a slit before reopening. "I do not 'remember' any of your history about the Terran Alliance, I have not experience or have any knowledge of it, similar to how you Terrans have no knowledge about your roots." She seems to be revealing some amazing and never heard of knowledge about their history, but it'll be up to the two if they want to know more.
"Krotosi did not see the Alliance as a threat, they see them as the group of 'humans' that are closest to recreating the greatest horrors that were unleashed in the past. You have seen it before, Sub Lieutenant." She seems unfazed by Glen's reactions, or by his burst of questions. "How do you think I arrived last time? If you couldn't figure it out, I'll show you." She stood up and suddenly disappeared from their sight. "Like so." Her voice was heard right behind the two, who seems to have got behind the pair without any prior signs. She then disappears from their view again and appears right back at her seat.
"As for yourself... I did not do anything to you, I have no reason to. You made contact with 'them' yourself. She did not attack us, she attacked you, and that changed you. You feel sudden bursts of anger do you not? As if you want to tear everything apart with your bare hands, and if you want to destroy everything in sight..." She did not sit down, instead she slowly walked over to Glen. Even though she was walking very slowly and lightly, each of her steps might seem like thundering stomps to Glen. She had him stand up as she explains that the thing that he said was only attacking him and not her. Reaching out to pull him up by his wrists, she guided his hands to her neck. "Just like this..." But instead of what anyone might expect, Glen would see a split second of a vision. Everything and everyone around would suddenly be covered in flesh, and both people in the room would seem like a humanoid gore. Whatever it was, it disappeared as soon as it came, and Patchouli lets go of his hands.
"That, was what Krotosi and Andarsi were afraid of, for the past hundreds of years. Ironically it was what erased the past, treated as a natural disaster that neither of the great powers spoke of. The ultimate weapon that was rigged to go out of control, the sad creature that were born incompleted, without a heart. And it now sits beside your unit, or at least a shard of her." And that was the answer that Glen asked for, the box is the very creature that changed him, gave him strength to go on his misisons. "BYDO, was the name 'we' gave it, take good care of her would you?"
Nahum Orizabal
When Glen finally began to get his answers the first was about brain surgery, of course he doesn't know how to handle that as he was just a pilot not a brain surgeon. "Of course I will not be able to work on a brain its out of my field." Upon hearing the truth in the matter the gathering of humans who lost thier history. "So that thing we saw... its a human invention?", Glen son asked which made Noel raise his eyesbrows at the word 'we'. Then the sudden movement of the woman who went behind the two shocked both as they didn't expect that all. "What the hell..?" Well Noel soon stats, "A Form of teleportation? Or personally going through space time? Facinating.." Of Course the scientist was interested he put a hand on his chin which he began to formulate just how.
When suddenly hearing about a 'her' who was her? He thought it was an it.. but even monsters have genders? Nothing made sense as something inside was boiling in, but as well something else... something else holding it at bay. As Patch walked towards Glen she picked up his hands and suddenly he was assaulted by a lust for violence in his mind. Everything turned red, the room itself brought to ruin and himself at the center. It was only a second but it was haunting like a nightmare. As she let go Glen suddenly quickly jumped back and soon states "What the hell was that?" Noel was at a lost but something odd was going on with Glen. Something connecting these two about something evne he didn't know.
When soon hearing what exactly Patch was talking about Glen soon frozen when hearing it.. the box in Sylph Alpha that gives it such insane power levels without the need of as power source known to man. He thought it was some sort of experimental box but suddenly it made sense... why he felt so at home in his Mobile Suit when testing. Everything to him slowed down as if he could do others couldn't but to think. To think that box... which looked like a normal generator to him was in fact something else. Inside of it, the monster that touched him. Now it had a name which he soon hears Noel soon ask "BYDO? What is that?" Glen soon hears to take care of her so the piece was a she? The only last question in Glen's mind soon was simply "If this was something humans invented and a natural disaster... is that the real reason we on this mission? If this was truly a weapon to go out of control... then there must be more isn't there?" Of course it might be more then that but a looming threat that may or may not fully exist is still a threat. The more importance of this mission and more he had to fight for mankind. Even if his strength has steadily increased, his reaction time much faster then he can remember, even if the unnatural emotion to destroy everything he still remember what he is.. a human a human, who will never forget what he is.

"She is not a her like a human female, but is it so unusual for the people of this time to treat things as men or women? A ship is commonly known as a her, so it's not that different to use that for BYDO either. You would meet her in the future Lieutenant Commander, I'm sure of it, so there's no need to rush ahead and worry about the future. The same to you, Sub Lieutenant. Do not see BYDO as an enemy, because if so then you would be unable to change anything. Maintain your contact, understand her, advance with her." It is as if she is giving Glen a new pet to take care of, rather than some sort of world destroying weapon of some sort.
"Now perhaps you two should get back to work, we have company." By the time she finishes, the multispectrum sensors would have detected that something is approaching, and trying to warp to nearby space. Matching the fluctuation energy waves, it seems to be 2 ships, perhaps a patrol fleet. Whatever it is, the Lazrin should be able to avoid detection as long as they do not warp from the area. So now they have a choice of retreating quietly, or launching a pre-emptive assault on the fleet before they realize the existance of the Terran ship.
Patchouli sits back on her seat and picks up her book again, doesn't seem to care a bit that possible enemies are approaching. That said, she would likely be ready if she is needed for battle, if they decide to use the Psionic armaments on the ship.
Nahum Orizabal
The advice was unsettling to Glen but never the less to hear what his unit was he had to deal with. Whatever the case of this Glen soon understood maybe he could learn something. Still the whole thing seems far more darker then he originally envisioned. As soon as he nods in return suddenly hearing they had company both men suddenly hear the alarms sounded and quickly rushed toward the bridge. As both moved quickly through the cooridors and of course the elevator to the bridge they soon would arrive at it with activity all over. "Maintain radio silence and keep our engines off! I don't want them to detect us at all!" a order was given by Francesca as the situation to keep hidden was paramount.
The captain returned to both men before him as he soon stats "Ah about time you got up here Lietenant Commander Comm." Noel was promptly to ask "I take we got some company?" Mechan soon nodded back as he soon turned his head back towards the view. "Of course it could be just a retiune patrol... whatever the case we got to be ready. Now what to do... if we attack we do have an advatange but..." Glen soon ponders, "We barely launched and we not one hundred precent sure it will be a quick battle. Plus do we want the ship to be revealed yet?" Which made Mechan chuckle at the young man. "That is correct, though we finished this ship barely needlessly engaging will be trouble some... hrmm. Habe they detected us at all or they ignoring us?" Francesca soon turned to Mechan with a simple "They have yet to detect us and we so far hidden in the area. I wonder why would they even be here."
That lead to a predicament, it could be an easy victory but before they even arrived they made damn sure no Krotosi should be in area but if they managed to come out here. That alone gave suspicions, for now Mechan came to a decision. "Condition Yellow, all hands are to be at standby if this turns into a general quarters. For now we will observe but keep our distance. Use the Planet gravitational field to jam their sensors. I am actualyl quite interested in why they are here."

The Krotosi ships did not seem to be here for the Lazrin, at least not yet. The two ships kept a short distance from each other, and releases some drones in the surrounding area. The drones gathered together in groups of 3, and began to cover the area to see if there is anything in the sector. Judging from their routes, eventually some of these groups would approach the Lazrin, but moving away would mean the signatures from their thrusters could be spoted.
If they continue to hide, it's a risky bet to hope that the drones would be retrieved before they reach where the Lazrin is resting at, very risky as there are nothing to support that the drones would do so. If they move, they could hope to warp away before too many guns and drones are on the ship. Using the new Jump Drive they could easily get away, but hiding is another story, who knows if more ships would come chase them. Fighting them is also a choice, risking the ship in combat, but they can focus all of their functions to keep the enemies from reporting or calling for help.
Besides the more reasonable choices here, Glen might feel and hear something throbbing. Whatever that made the sound and feel, seems to urge him to attack the Krotosi ships. But it was just a slight happening, one that passes as soon as it came. It might however remind him of his talk with Patchouli just moments earlier, suggesting that it might be that black box in his MS that is urging for him to fight, to destroy its enemies while there are openings. Right now they are not spoted yet, perhaps with the Sylph Alpha's spec he could charge through the drones before they could react, and strike the enemy ship.
"Captain." While they were waiting, a window would open beside Mechan, showing Patchouli with her uncaring looks. The young(?) woman does not seem to care that they have enemies near them, and simply give a few advices on what they could do. "The Psi Jump Drive is one of the most advance technology on this ship, it has the ability to pinpoint a certain destination to warp out of, and do so within seconds. It also have great travel distance compared to most regular interstellar travelling methods, inform me of the location you wish to send us to when you want to use it."
She did not give actual advices, but simply told their captain about one of the ship's ability. However that should be enough of a hint, they have the ability to actually warp through the drones, and perhaps even beside the enemy ships before they could react. Of course there would be a cooldown time, so if they fail to finish off the ships before the drones return, they would be in a lot of trouble. That said, if successful, it would likely be a crushing blow to the two ships before them. Glen might be able to hear what the young lady said as well, perhaps it is his imaginations, but another surge of that urge of aggression seems to have reappear for a second.
Nahum Orizabal
As the ships arrived they were soon confirmed to be Krotosi, Mechan rubbed his chin as their luck was simply not good. He was hoping to avoid any contacts and keeping the Krotosi to not see a new Terran Ship. Alas by the luck of a patrol showing up usually meant that a battle group might not be far away. They would soon launch drones which they detected which soon alot was going in on his. If they activated their engines they would be instant spotted but if the drones see them or if they bring them down they would be spotted. All the while Glen was feeling small ugres as he was there, violence but he kept himself at bay each and every time. As it was looking they would be found soon suddenly the intercom activated.
Everyone on the bridge soon saw Patch as she was soon revealing something they didn't know that the ship was capable of. After all even if they got trained for it to actually see the new technology at work is still a learning experience. Mechan was listening her suggestions and in his mind was thinking multple ways and soon asked a question to the elder woman. "This ship has yet to test its weapons fully and if you say we can go anywhere... is it possible to disable both ship and sink them with a correctly time warp?"
That alone was a very good question if it was a yes then he would turn to Glen who also would though feeling the urge to kill hid it very well and quickly moved toward the dock within the ship. Soon as this occurs if the answer was yes Mechan would soon order "General Quarters!" A mesage would sound within the ship as everyone who was on stand by quickly would get into position. In the dock itself Rico and a few other pilots were all preparing for battle all the while Glen would finally enter with his pilot suit fully on. "Where the hell you been Glen and what the hell is going on?" Glen quickly moved toward his unit and soon says "We got a patrol of Krotosi ship in the solar system we are in. I guess the best way to test new weapons is by trial by fire." That alone made Rico smirk, he thought it was going to be a slow day. "Right, remember I got your back Amigo." As he thumbs up at Glen who thumb up back as he got into his unit. Though Upon entering he felt something and even for a the brief second he thought he heard a voice.
Soon as everyone was ready a drone was coming suddenly was about to find them. Before it could Mechan then would order "Warp!" Which soon the ship suddenly disappear from its spot and via the new type of engines the ship could do would then warp right behind both ship into firing range. "Fire!!" The Lazrin soon activated its weapon and began firing on both ships. Even if they don't get blown up they would at least engine wise would be disabled possibly. All the while in the docks all the pilots would soon be ready to give the weird if to launch. Depending on what occurs would decide what would happen next.

"That will be up to you, Captain. It is your role to command the ship is it not? Lets see some of your bravery to take on the frontiers." She did not answer his question, but it does show that she did not object to it, and that should be a good sign considering she's also on the ship. As the ship move to battle, data of the location that the ship would reappear in would be send to Patchouli, who took one look at it before looking straight ahead. "Warp." When Mechan give out the orders, Patchouli repeats it on her end to show that she heard him.
The ship's structure would seem to have disintegrated into lines before disppearing completely, only to reappear right beside the exact location as Mechan ordered. The warp was guided by Patchouli's psionic ability, which is important so they won't warp inside a floating asteroid and explode. The weapons on the ship begins to fire at their target as soon as they finish warping, delivering waves of missiles and accelerated plasma shots at the two unexpecting warships.
The closest ship would have taken quite some heavy hits, the plasma melting through the tough armor of the battlecruiser, followed by the barrage of missiles that eats through the molten armor with waves of explosions. It did not take long before the first ship explodes in ball of flame, lacking the time to even start up its shields.
The death of it's ally did provided enough time for the other ship to start up the shield system, but found that unlike other Terran weapons, some of the missiles were able to hit and tear through their previously mighty defense systems. Once the first few neutronum missiles goes through, so does the rest of the weapons. While the poor ship attempts to defend itself with the few point defense lasers and the two lone energy cannons on the ship, the shots would be unable to pierce through the shield of the Lazrin, at least not through all of them even at such close range. Soon, the second ship begins to explode as well, snapping in half after a few powerful shots of plasma pierces through its damaged armor. No escape pods were spotted, suggesting much if not all of the crew had perished.
"Well done, but it is to be expected." Patchouli gave her acknowledgement of the crew's efforts, but did not seem all that excited, she knew the Lazrin will win. The Lazrin was designed with their main opponent, Krotosi ships, in mind. While maintaining much of the designs of an alliance ship, it was modified to be more similar to ships used in ancient times when Earth was still around, ships that could have fought against a Krotosi ship head on without a problem. It could also be noted that Krotosi ships are more closer classified as carriers than battleships, relying on their drones for much of the offensive capacity, rather than direct gunfight. The Lazrin was designed just to counter that, with mighty anti-air batteries, and deadly artillery to tear Krotosi armor apart.
For Glen, he might feel disappointed, or something beside him felt disappointed that he would not be joining the fight. Nevertheless the urges for aggression seems to have disappeared, for now. It could also be noticed that Patchouli didn't do anything after the warp, but it looks like it was already more than enough to finish off those two ships.
Around the point where the Lazrin were before the warp, dozens of drones floats around, lacking the controller to give them commands or even keep them running. They continue to try to find and attack the location that they were commanded to head to, but their AI could not understand the sudden disappearance, and would keep doign so until they run out of fuel and energy.
It was not very impressive to Patchouli, but it was probably the first victory that the alliance had in a long while, an overwhelming victory as well. It will sure raise morale, but likely to draw unnecessary attention as well if other Krotosi ship spot them. Perhaps they could move before any more reinforcements arrive, unless they want to chew through an entire fleet worth of ship.
Nahum Orizabal
When the attack occured to everyone on the bridge's face thinking it would be a hard fight were utterly shocked. Nox who has been silent this entire time soon was the first to finally react. "Did.... did we just fuck them up?" That alone was not something people were used to in fact they were expecting something else. Noel was soon yells over to his younger sister "Language Nox!! But right... just how powerful are these weapons exactly?" Mechan was relieved and soon annouces "Its over... everyone stand down." Francesca only manage to mutter "What in the world is this ship..."
Meanwhile in the docks all the pilots expecting a fight suddenly felt.... disappointed... it was not a bad thing no. They were just expecting a fight for their lives like the rest of the Alliance did. Death toll on the human side has been high throughout the war and because of it many soldiers got good pay for the high risk. All the whole Javie soon yells "Hahaha this ship is far more fisky then I originally thought! Alright boys get out of your units time to clean up!" Rico soon came out of his unit and soon shouts over "What the hell man I thought it was going to be far more you know the usual!" Glen who also got out felt his aggression disappear which he soon sighed. "This is just great... this lost technology... is that our purpose? But still something feels amiss... why do I got a bad feeling things are progressing too well?" He finished talking to himself then suddenly he heard a voice... was it the Slyph Alpha? Or was it something else. His imagination or is it real? Regardless he would exit out of the unit and soon shouts over "Alright coming to help clean up!" With that it seemed a new path was to be forged. Will it be a new hope for humanity in a war that simply was a fight for survival? Or is it the beginning of the end of the Universe as they know it?

It was several weeks after their great victory over the Krotosi patrol fleet. During this time, the Lazrin encountered several more patrol fleets, and was able to pick them off without alerting the larger fleets. This was done to a combination of ship firepower and mobile units, which shows how the crew had improved from when they first got on board. The victories had brought them confidence and morale, allowing them to be more aggressive against the Krotosi who had been keeping the Terran forces down all these years. The only one that doesn't seem to have any difference is Patchouli, who had perfect confidence in the ability of this ship. Although it has been quite some time, there were little conversation between the young woman and the rest of the crews, perhaps there are still some barriers between them.
Today was slightly different, Patchouli went over to Noel's office for a check up, which gives Noel the opportunity to fulfill some of her curiosity about the body of a psychic. That said, nothing special could be spotted other than that the woman seems to possess a great figure for someone that sits there all day and not do any work out. On the other hand, her health itself is not consider very superior, in fact it matches someone of her lifestyle. She seems physically frail, do not have much stamina, and have slow recovery speed. "You seem to have a lot of questions in your mind, Lieutenant Commander." While laying on a bed, Patchouli begins to talk to her, which is surprising considering she was silent for much of the check up. "The Sub Lieutenant asked much of the questions last time we met, that was weeks ago was it not? Perhaps you could ask me some of your questions now." She said as she uses her mental powers to retrieve her clothes and change out of the patients clothing, then sitting down on the side of the bed, facing the doctor.
While they're on the same ship, and they know where each other are, there were surprisingly little conversation between the two.(and almost everyone else in the ship) Now would be a good opportunity to ask some questions, or to break some ice.

For Noel the days were usual, either he was in his office to give check ups or in the lab experimenting on new items. Regardless when his door open to see no other then the Psionic before him for a checkup out the blue he soon simply ushers the woman in. Getting his electronic pad which had all sorts of medical appilcations that gave him control of the machines within the med bay he soon began the usual examination after Patch finished dressing into her patient clothing. What was surprising found she had a perfect figure which made no sense at all to him then adding in the fact she seemed too frail for some reason. Her life style perhaps. Then of course there was some more lingering questions from earlier but continued to do his job before anything. Not to mention the woman was errily silent throughout the whole process.
"Oh I always do have many questions like how the hell you keep your figure." That was a jest of course but Noel figured even this psionic would know of the jest even before he stated it. Still to see someone from so long ago, not many will know. Just he, Glen and of course the captain and XO. This kept secret among the staff who were there so that included Head Engineer Javie as well. No he has other question which was the most obvious "Man... the man of the past... how were they?" The first question but unlike Glen who asked a bunch Noel is patient and he is intrigued, especially what he overheard. The First of course was more on the lines of try to understand the Terran's past.

"Me and one of my partners were often ask this question, I won't be able to give you an answer, but her answer was that 'Women spends great amount of effort into achieving so, you just don't know about it.'" She let the joke slide, but does seem slightly more warm from the praise. There are no women that do not like praises from others about their beauty. "Men of the past? They are just as bad as they are now." It seems that the young woman did not hold them in high regards, whether it was the humans of the past or the Terrans of the present. "They have great technology, partly due to 'our' help. But they have failed, not because of their opponents, but because of their own foolishness. Blind by their powers and unable to see the shades." Like always, her answers were never direct, but nevertheless it is enough to answer the questions.
"Men and Women do not change that easily, I'm sure that is not so hard to agree on. And from what I could see, they haven't gotten any smarter than they have been in the past." Despite their recent victories, Patchouli don't seem too confident about the Terran Aliance, at least not at the commanders up top. "I can however tell you a few things, do not be afraid, embrace the unknown and advance forward. What they claim is the 'Satan' or 'Shaddai' is nothing like what they have imagined, teach her, work with her." She was referring to the black box that Glen talked about before, and using terms that the Andarsi and Krotosi used to describe it. If she knew about these terms, that would mean both of these factions had made contact with BYDO in the past, and from what Patchouli had claimed, are afraid of it.
"That said, I recommend that the crew be careful. When one stare into the abyss, the abyss is also staring at you. Too much of it at once would be harmful." What she meant is unclear and is quite vague to measure what example is 'too much.' Nevertheless it is sound advice, and hints at how they should deal with BYDO as an ally. "Anything else? You did not ask much question last time, so I'll be willing to help you a bit more here."
Nahum Orizabal
Noel soon heard what the young woman stated on men of the past, of course that always the case everywhere you go but to hear it, he meant not in that way. "Victory or not its the best chance we got. The Alliance is no democracy no but sometimes a military dictatorship is the only way for humanity to survive." On hearing what he meant he thinks he understood what she meant. The best weapon to fight might be the very thing that could lead to their destruction. Just like the invention of the atom bomb . Now he somewhat heard some terms before but to hear it he put a hand on his chin pondering, "So mythical legends form alien races you say are the BYDO... if so the destruction that many legends talk about is them? But I understand now you wish to use the forbidden technology to fight against the unknown. By Embracing it we would better understand it. Still what should we look out for, the technology is new to us still. We must be prepared to know what to do in the worse scenario." That meant Noel understood what Patch meant. It also means he knows his role in all this.
Rabite
"Oh, that's not what I mean. It was a democracy, a very successful one that is better than those that existed in the past. Leaders worked for their people, especially during crisis. But that does not necessary mean they will listen to good advices, or rather they lack the ability to be sure on which advices to follow. Unfortunatelly they decided to take the worse one possible, and you can see the results with your own eyes." Just like before, she explains it in a very vague way. What Noel might figure out is that his guesses were not exactly on the nail. "Not quite, you see, some of the religions of the past were based on these alien nations. Angels, demons, werewolves, all that sort. With these images came some of the terms and names they used, and in a strange but not uncommon way, our legends get pass back to these alien races. What we thought is God, and that we gave names for, went back to Krotosi and Andarsi and are used by them to describe BYDO, which is quite fitting."
"It is not my wish to use these technology of the past to fight against enemies, why, we were against using them in the past. As one of the inventors, we know the power of these weapons, just like the scientists of the past have done when it came to nuclear weapons." Both Einstein and Oppenheimer were not very happy at the Nuclear weapons of the past, as both of them knew the possibly destruction that these weapons might bring. Patchouli was among those that saw the dangers of these weapons, and advises the current government to be careful, with little results. "As I said, thanks to the rough morning call, I do not remember much of these technology until I see them. I won't be able to tell you much on that, but I can say that our weapons were beyond imaginations. Just like how people thought flight and electricity were tools only wield by gods."
"My goal is only to find them, to use them or not, and in what way, is up to your government. Among them, I will regain my memories, so you can view it as a win-win situation. One that'll benefit us both... assuming we could overcome our difficulties, such as the one that is approaching." Doesn't this seem familiar? Just as Patchouli finishes up, the radar would be able to detect enemies approaching. Judging from the slower speed of the warp out, and the stronger energy wave, it is a larger ship than those that the Lazrin had fought in the past weeks. "Looks like that'll be the end of our conversation. I'll be heading back. Good bye, Lieutenant Commander."
Unlike the past few battles where the Lazrin had the advantage of surprise, it seems that whatever this ship is had came to chase after them. They couldn't detect the exact location of the Lazrin, but it seems to try to search and approach the general direction towards the Terran ship. The coming ship is larger than the Battlecruiser they fought before, but that's not too much of a problem, as it does not seem to have scaled up their weapons. The biggest problem would probably be the extra MS and drones in the ship, but by ship spec the Lazrin should have no problem against it.
"Psionic, all green. All systems ready, Captain." Patchouli seems to have arrived back at her room before any combat begins, allowing the ship to reach it's maximum ability.

Rabite
