Has anyone here read any Robert Heinlein? I was recently introduced to him and was blown away. Not only did he predict so much when it come to modern inventions, but his insight into the technical and the practical use of such technology is what impresses me. A creative imagination is one thing, but it's almost unheard of for someone with such an original and expansive imagination to also be extremely grounded in reality; he is ever the pragmatist. All that is second in my opinion into the insight of "how humans are", how we act given different social constructs. He has a very noble view of the human spirit while at the same time viewing us as very petty, whimsical, moved by passion inconsistently, and such...
Anyway, I was just curious is anyone else has read anything of his. I guess to some extent I am not especially familiar with writings, since I have only read one book, but nonetheless one can get a fairly intricate sense of the themes, outlook, and writing style of a writer after a single novel... even a short story delectably.

Haven't read much books recently, only thing I've read(but didn't finish yet) was Karl von Clausewitz's Principles of War. Though, after I googled the name I found out he's the guy that wrote Starship Troopers, and I watched the movie version of that.

Haha, yeah my friend read the book version and said that they were completely different. Fun fact, my dad's company built some of the props for the movie Starship Troopers.

I read the book Starship Troopers, it's very, facist, that's all I have to say.
How much money did his company make off those Uniforms anyway? They seem to be almost everywhere.
