Victor turned to Agent Carter then simply says, "I was going to suggest that first Agent Carter. Everything is all right, just remembering the past that is all. I seen a lot during the early days of the Ys State and grew up before the foundation of the country and was called the New Federal Army. You should know my history on what happened back in Germany during the previous war. Just there was other things that occurred during my time in the newly created Special Corps. For now I will do my job, I will get Achmetha back that is much is all I can do."
With that Victor went towards his own quarters leaving Carter to his own devices.
Achmetha
He was for sure trying to tempt the Warden as much as possible it was the only thing that kept him sane. Well that is til he discovered the outside what it was which gave him thoughts of a woman he hadn't seen in almost a month.
"Wait.... you got to me kidding me. A colony? Of ALL things here why is a colony in the smack middle of an ice mountain?", Achmetha commented to himself.
Looking about he saw where the bottom was, well what lack therefore a bottom, he wouldn't wish to fall to his death at all.
'Seriously?'
Soon turning and noticing the other workers he sighed, and somewhat regretted pissing off the Warden. Noticing they got the hardest work he turned to Duren then says, "Well... I guess let's get started?"
With that he lowered down himself using the tools to follow what the guard said. Wondering if they were staying or just going to leave them there to work. He began working on the ice to begin chipping away the parts that needed to be chipped away. All a while thinking the position where he was and at the same time looking around to observe anything important for future reference.

Carter watched Victor go in silence, and then turned to go back to his own quarters without another word. Inwardly, he wondered what else there was to this man.
Elsewhere
The answer to Achmetha's question would soon come to him, when he noticed the guards did, in fact, hang around after him and his cellmate hung over the side and got to work. It looked like Duren had got stuck with this kind of job before, because he moved quickly to shatter the icicles on the way down, and then got to busting off the sheet ice that remained afterwards. Each time they smacked one of the icicles loose they could watch it fall all the way down to the bottom and shatter, a stark reminder of what'd happen to them if they fell too.
Duren, however, didn't seem worried in the least, even as the winds picked up and jostled them around on the walls.
"Dig your boots into these crevices, and bend your knees. Won't be able to get blown away then." The man advised Achmetha, pointing to the skeletal frame of the colony's outer wall where one pane of glass separated the other. Those sections were sunk in a few inches and made out of study metal meant to hold the windows in place, as well as provide support for the colony. Considering this stuff was made to be entirely self contained, interior pressure and all, it was built to last. Luckily these crevices were big enough to get your heels into for support.
"What was that about a colony?" Duren finally asked once the winds had died down, looking over towards him with a curious expression. "Don't think I followed what you meant."
Which shouldn't surprise Rorke being almost nobody on earth knew that people still lived in space, or perhaps ever did, outside of rumor and legend.
Meanwhile, now that he could look around, Achmetha would notice how you got up to this mountain. Peering around he'd eventually notice the O wing that he was lead through first, the same one that Carter was explaining the purpose of to the diamondbacks. It looked like a cluster of exterior buildings built out from the colony's southern wall, near A wing. He could just vaguely see some kind of railroad track if he really strained his eyes, but it wasn't easy to see.
Might be good to remember, however.

Achmetha soon noted how Duren worked, which impressed him a bit more as he worked. Noting the guards above stayed which he figured would happen. Still Achmetha soon heard what he said about the Colony has he followed his advice well he worked.
'Oh right most wouldn't know.'
"Uhh well a colony is what humans used to live in space during the old days. Since back then the human population was so large they had to move to space. A Colony itself was meant to house entire cities worth of people inside and had to be maintained. That is... that is all learned from a... a... female acquittance of mine back in the Ys State. She, she was somewhat special in the head who knew all kinds of... stuff.", Achmetha soon said giving a vague answer due to it was both true and a lie at the same time.
Especially the Special in the head was the truth but about being an acquittance was a lie she was much more to him. As he looked around well working he soon noticed the entire place, which he soon internally smiled. This was perfect coming out here which not only gave him fully understanding where everything is, he figured out an escape route, for the future.

Duren listened impassively to that explanation, figuring that he was holding something back, but figured the actual historical part of it was fairly spot on.
"So," he began while smacking more ice off the wall, "those old legends of space people...that's all true then?"
"Learn something every day."
For another few minutes there was silence as they worked without saying anything, or silence between them rather, being that there was still plenty of noise from the wind that made talking more or less impossible for the next half hour.
Then Duren spoke up again.
"Must have been a lot more people on Earth back then than there are now. Biggest city I ever saw..." The man paused to think. "Over in Asia. Massive, sure. Never saw another like it though. Except maybe New Yark."
Since Achmetha was willing to share a bit more Duren did as well, revealing he had apparently been all over the world before he got stuck here. It made someone wonder what he did to end up in this terrible joint?
"How did your 'special' friend find out about long lost space colonies? Doesn't sound like common knowledge." His cellmate continued to inquire while working.
Right about now one of the guards finally overheard them talking and peeked over the edge.
"The hell are you guys talking about down there?"

"You been all over the place huh.", Achmetha commented as he worked on his part of the chipping away well finally gotten used to it.
'He has been all over... but what did he do before that lead him here?'
When Achmetha heard what Duren said he had to think up a lie but thankfully the guard managed to save his need to do so.
"Well Mister Guard, well we work we been discussing the meaning of life and why the fuck its so cold out here?", Achmetha soon replied as he continued to work.

Duren was about to say something as well but also got cut off.
"We're on the north pole, that's why." The guard replied with a blank look. "...literally. Or close to it, even I'm not sure some days."
The guy sat down on the roof overlooking them.
"It's warmer in other parts, just up here its even more fucking awful. You know I've been here for two solids months. It gets fuckin old."
"Williams!" A voice eventually boomed out, making the guard cringe and jump to his feet. "What do you think you're doing! Look sharp you son of a bitch! Or even better, if you feel so chatty, go help them!"
It was none other than the Warden, whom back handed the soldier so hardly he slipped off the side and fell over the edge of the colony...towards Achmetha.

Achmetha soon looked quickly up then replies, "Watch out!!"
Quickly moving he soon did a quick jump to catch the man then well that was good and dandy to catch the guy but then the whole dropping began. Losing his grip he soon began to fall with the guard named Williams in his arm. Quickly thinking he began top use his own tool to try to slow down their speed. It wasn't working well, he continue to plummet until everything stopped.
"What.... What happened?!", Achmetha managed to say.

Achmetha would feel a firm hand on his free wrist just as everything stopped, the usually dour expression of Duren above him, but this time he was actually grinning. "You can thank me later."
It seems Duren had slid himself down the sheet ice to speed up in time to reach them, and then grab the pair at the last moment. Which was a good thing, the ground was looking mighty close. There was a hell of a commotion up top that preluded the trio being tugged up by Duren's rope. Luckily, his hadn't snapped. It frayed though, making everyone sweat each time they were tugged until at long last they crested the top again and were able to rest.
Bonavare pinched the bridge of his nose in disgust.
"You have spiked boots for this! How did you fall?" He asked, the guard didn't say anything.
"Forget it! Get Williams a harness and fix theirs, they'll be having company! How lucky for them."
Five minutes later....
"Well, this sucks." Williams said beside them, as the group were once again suspended over the outer side of the colony.
"Yep." Duren replied with a stony expression, he didn't seem happy.
"This is awkward, but...thanks for the save." He then said to Rorke.

"Duren!!", Achmetha soon shouted as he noticed the man above him.
Soon as he got himself and Williams up to the top Achmetha was out of breath then comments, "Good.. Good save Duren. I thought I was a goner there."
As he notice the Warden's reaction he simply began to detest the guy even more. As he got his new harness to continue working he soon noted the guard along with them.
"No problem... falling to one's death is bad for one's health. By the way Achmetha Rorke. I take your name is Williams?", Achmetha asked as he continued to work.

"Do what I can." Duren said. "Used to climb mountains. Don't think I ever will again, had enough cold to last me a life time. Maybe two."
"I hear that." Williams muttered, and then replied to Achmetha.
"Yeah, Eddy Williams. That's me."
"Duren." The other man said, since they were having an introduction session apparently.
The guard didn't seem very good at this, smacking at the ice worriedly, as if afraid it'd crumple and send him falling a second time.
"So uh...how'd you guys get here?"
"Rather not talk about it." The other man replied, keeping his past to himself.
"I got stationed here a year ago. Don't know what I did to deserve it, but I must have pissed off some wanker right good." Eddy muttered with a sigh.

"Uhh actually I am not too sure why I was here, before I was near Odessa. I was only on a date, then something in the food made me lose consciousness. Before I know it I was in some medical ward which was here. Obviously you would know the rest.", Achmetha then commented, adding in he knew his attempted escape from before.
As he continued to work Achmetha noticed the guard, in fact this made him completely wonder. The guards here seem like they also are prisoners too to be station in this place. Almost if they were put here as punishment then actual promotion. This line of thinking made him wonder if Avalon wasn't as united as he originally thought.
"Originally I was from a small town in Eastern Europe called New Lublin. It was nice for what it was, though originally didn't live there in fact I am not even sure where my family is from. Only that New Lublin became my home... it was a nice quiet place. A Good place, the children would play in the dirt and the salvaging it was nice to find old parts from the war too. Though I do remember my mother... she had the nicest smile raven black hair and even copper like skin. I am not sure where she came from I suspect the Holy States mostly figured that out when I was in the Lyon Academy. My father... he was great well... til my mother died, of course I have a brother but not once I have seen him since he left. Now... now he is considered a big Ys State hero who managed to win the Battle of Gibraltar. But enough about me... what about you Duren and you Eddy?", Achmetha soon asked.
If Duren picked this on it seemed Achmetha had a plan to attempt to befriend the guard even possibly befriend others too. Still working as they talked Achmetha knew this was hard but he kept at it.

Duren wasn't an especially talkative fellow, that just seemed to be how it was. He eyed up the guard curiously, not thinking it was a good idea to trust the guy too much. But they needed a way in, out here, if they ever wanted to escape. He thought back to what he told Achmetha before, about how by now everyone was too scared to try and even talk. Well, that'd never change if they didn't begin it themselves.
"I'm from Avalon, main islands. Joined the navy to see the world, only saw a lot of bloodshed. Got tired of it, left when my term was up to go my own way." Duren eventually said. He looked pretty old compared to Achmetha, getting on to middle aged or thereabout. Maybe he was even in the 4 Party War? It'd explain why he saw a lot of bloodshed at least. "Still got my rank pins somewhere back home, if its even still standing."
Eddy whistled at their stories. "I get sea sick too easy, so I joined the army instead. Its rough. The divide between nobles and commoners is a lot more stark on the battlefield than on a ship. Some of em sees us normal folks as cannon fodder...but some aren't so bad. Marchioness Tyrell was one of the better ones, Sir Lewis too, and Lord Bennett. But I heard he died in Odessa or something of the sort."
Being he was from Odessa, or at least stopped off there, the guard turned his focus to Achmetha. He didn't say anything right away as he noticed the Warden making his rounds up top, waiting for him to leave first. "You say you were there? What happened to him? The men loved him, but apparently he got exiled to the mining base."
The rest of what Rorke had to say made his eyes go wide. "Wait, you're related to the Devil of Gilbraltor? Bloody hell!"
"...must make dinners awkward. How do you even talk to a guy like that? You know how many men he killed?"
Duren cut in here, a little too knowingly. "Too many."
"That's one hell of an understatement! They say that blighter isn't even human! Well, guess we know why you're here now." Eddy said.
"As for me, I'm for Wessex. Not too much to say about it, nice place, wide rolling hills, decent place to grow up. Parents were both farmers, pushed me to join the army to make something for myself." Williams said, spitting with disgust at where that plan got him. His saliva froze the minute it hit the wall, making him sigh as he moved to scrape that off too. "Avalonian army is as regimented as the rest of the place. You're either a noble, a knight, a merchant, someone who works for one of those classes...or a commoner. As for how that works out, well, like I said...depends who your lord is. Some I'd gladly fight and die for, others I'd like to skin and keel haul."

"Related to a Devil to some or a Hero to others. Really one thing I can say for my brother was he was born to be better then others. In fact in front of me was a person who seemed more greater then he should. That could possibly explain why the Ys State's own officers came to the apartment back then, to recruit him to join the military. Something about exceeding all test they ever seen. I cannot say what he has done, but one thing you can guarantee in terms of military tactics he is one of the genius level.", Achmetha commented on his brother which interesting enough he hadn't seen for years.
To think now finally imprisoned he finally thinking about his only family of all times. He regretted this now and part of him wished to get to know his brother. Possibly when this is all over go see him and try to rebuild that family bond.
"As for Lord Bennet he is not dead, nope I was there for the Battle of Odessa. To stop his own men's suffering he surrendered to back then Colonel Falcon. Their now P.O.W.'s but I know for a fact he purposely chosen to be imprisoned up along with his men at the POW camp. That man though I talked with him once with Como... he felt, felt he was no longer of Avalon but that of Odessa.", Achmetha then added as he continued to work.
Then giving more thought he goes, "So that is how Avalon works... strange how a nation so close can be so different. In the Ys State yes there is a higher class of the elite but generally its drastically different from Avalon in all intents and purposes. For one anyone even commoners can become great within the Ys State. Those who join the State do so to serve the State, there is no exceptions all must be trained military disciplined and indoctrinated that your fighting for not just for the State but for the common good. The goal of the State to end all wars and unite all of Europe in the banner of one. To end senseless violence and chaos of what the fall of the Federation brought. Even half of the generals of the Ys State are not from the original founding families but men and women who came from the bottom up to lead great armies. The Civilians are allowed elections of their own officials on the local level as long as they do not contradict the Military. You could say we are a Garrison State with a small democracy inside, though I am not one hundred percent sure they teach that to you guys in Avalon."
Still he left out some parts... the Ys State may sound nice and good but it did have its issues. Issues that would make even him sick to his stomach, but there is no truth humane government in the world they live in. That Achmetha accepted even if it went against his own personal morals and opinion. He knew the wrong but just accepted as is, as the current world at the moment the only form of stability left.

"So you don't actually know him that well?" Eddy inquired. "Shame. I have some siblings, couldn't imagine if we just parted ways to never see each other again. That assuming I get out of here. At this rate, who knows, I might just be stuck on that same boat."
The news of Bennett not being dead cheered him up a little though. "Word was Bennett was a bit too humanistic for the blue blood's tastes. Man like that could be dangerous, put the common man above the state. Think your own nation might not like that line of thinking either."
"All we're really taught about Ys in the Kingdom is that you're a buncha warmongers out to rip the world apart and rebuild it in your own image. Guess that's half true then?" The guard said while hammering at the wall listlessly.
"Don't mean to paint Avalon as all bad either, course. When the world went to hell feudalism was necessary, only way to keep people safe was a strong chain of command in society. Supposedly. There's some talk if that's still required or not. Guess you can imagine which side of that fence is the one that isn't allowed to voice their opinions?"
"World's still a dangerous place, and Avalon's not in a safe position." Duren added, to which Williams nodded. "Then again, no nations are. Entire world's within an inch of consuming itself in fire again."
"It is apparently doing just that, huge war out there I heard." Eddy commented. "Great Earth War they're calling it. I heard about it when I was on leave to the capital on this rock. Apparently Avalon and some nation in Asia teamed up..."
"Qing." Duren said.
"Yeah that! Wouldn't mind going there some time..."
"Yeah you would, kid. You got a lot to learn if you think that place would be a vacation spot."
"Maybe. What about you, Rorke? Where would you like to go?" The guard said, sliding down about 7 feet to work more on an untouched section of the wall. Seems they'd be done soon at this rate.

"Well possibly that line of thinking would be bad for the Ys State as well.", Achmetha replied to the first question then answers the second, "Well partly true yes... except even those of the blue blood of the kingdoms fear the State more then anything else. Giving equally in terms of becoming great is also another dangerous eliminate."
When he heard Great Earth War, he thoughts soon went to his team back in the mainland.
"Yes... the Great Earth War a war broke out between two sides began when the Ys State, the North American Union, the Oceania Federation, and the Pacific Union of Islands, Okinawa, and Japan formed the Earth Restoration Coalition to rebuild the Earth Federation. In response The Absolute Kingdom of Avalon and the God Qing Empire formed their own alliance The Liberation Alliance, to liberate the world from tyranny of the reforming Earth Federation government. A bunch of bull if you ask me, its two sides simply fighting each other as the nations stabilize and look to each other now. The ERC wants to form a confederated government with guise of the Earth Federation, to open economic trade and recovery of the human race. And more real reason because the Empire itself is growing too strong. So much so from I heard the ERC in the Pacific have been losing due to the massive armies of the Empire.", Achmetha soon informed his uninformed befriended guard.
When Achmetha heard the last question he stopped thinking real hard he soon answers, "I want to go to a place where someone I know is from. I want to see the world she saw it and see it for myself."
He sighed at that thinking about Regina even more, it was becoming evident he was thinking about her more and more. It was there but he wasn't sure why he knew but he didn't.
"Other then that any place with warm weather... I hear its nice and relaxing in South America I would want to see that for sure.", Achmetha soon finished it off with a joke.
