Yemmi Yevoli, or at least that was the only name she is aware of having, and the name everyone she could remember calling her. Briskly she walked through the corridors. Finding her way to the office of a military administrator to deliver the latest report files. Then once more picking up her pace as she left. Only now she was not heading to her next priority drop off.
It didn't matter that she had no business in this area. She was of sufficient rank and security access. Moving with a purpose, most wouldn't bother with looking too closely, she would only stop to salute a higher ranked officer. During her work routine she had made an effort to ensure she would use these corridors as much as possible. To reduce the chance of someone inquiring what she was doing there. A familiar face seldom gets questioned, but she also made sure not to get into small talk, too familiar and people get curious.
The week before she had been activated. Unfortunately her target had left shortly before that, in fact he practically disappeared. Recently she'd found out that the Sarcanus son had returned and was under house arrest in his state room.
She was nearing her target's room. But she needed time to carry out her mission as the room was guarded. Reaching into her pocket, he pressed the small trigger, a very small transmitter sent the signal to a small explosive. The lights fluttered as the reactors for the power on this floor fluctuated.
Going into full sprint, she slit the throat of the first guard before he could turn his head, running past and doing the same to the second guard. She quickly stabbed one and then the other in the heart to end their struggle.
Using door override program she had installed in her data pad. She waited a few moments for it to open the door. Cautiously she stepped in to see a chair turned away from her. But when it turned around it was not Patriel Sarcanus.
"Well well, I've always wanted to test my metal against an Imperial Assassin before," Mica Sarcanus said with a smirk.
Quickly Yemmi lept into the air, her foot landing on the edge of the desk, her lythe frame leaning forward as she went into a powerful forward lunge.
Mica was a bit caught off guard by her sheer speed. Sliding out of his chair and angle back as the blade that meant to tear his artery open only left a small cut.
Yemmi managed to contort her body in a way that placed her opposite foot against the wall she was propelling toward. Taking the force of her previous forward lung, then propelling her back, then up into the air.
However for all of her fancy acrobatics. She was not expecting the simple brutally of a chair striking her out of the air with such force it sent her fiercely into the metal wall nearby.
Though she regained her senses faster then even the toughest soldiers. Something came down hard onto her chest. The chair. With Mica seated a top of it. Had the bones in her chest not been artificially reinforced with a synthetic compound. She would have died.
"Ello there, you're quite pretty. And that was very impressive. Be a dear. Come over to our side. I'll take you to a wonderful restaurant I know," Mica said with a pleasant smile.
She instead opted to trigger the kill switch in her brain. A sequence of synapses set off the organic explosive compound throughout her body. Mica had only a second to jump up feet first onto the chair. The explosion being deterred by the metal chair as it sent it and Mica flying through the air.
