A small Sarcanus carrier squadron had arrived in the system shortly after the dawn of the Fenales star. Considering of two light carriers, a dedicated dropship, a heavy destroyer, two frigates, and three light corvettes. Making for orbit of Planet Fenales. The Fenales House Navy kept the vessels escorted, but gave them a wide birth to work with.
Three large drop ships entered the atmosphere shortly after the squadron had halted it's position in orbit. The three drop ships landed in one of the local ports. Several vehicles carrying Senior Captain Renold Tebalt made their way through the city and to the military base not too far from the city.
The Senior Captain and two of his staff were quickly shown to the office of a General Stem Dengo.
The captain snapped off a salute out of respect and the General reciprocated. Then made to shake the Captain's hand.
"Please, General, let's simply get to the business. As we understand it, not everyone within your House agrees with our presence here. So it may be best we conclude our business in a quick and efficient manner." Captain Tebalt in a professional manner as he took a briefcase from one of his staff. Opening it to reveal a display with the image of a Sarcanus Hirrengar Gunship.
The General cleared his throat and loosened his collar. Moving to a nearby shell to pour out some local whiskey. "Yes...my uncle fears our purchase of your gunships will result in increased aggression with our neighbors."
"Well, that is none our concern. When you contacted us, you said your House has needed of a strong workhorse gunship. Our gunships have a long history of reliability and durability," Captain Tebalt told him confidently.
The General sat in his chair, leaning back, the glass clutched in his hand. "What of the issues with targeting software and lack of stealth features?" He said as he loosened his collar further.
"The ships will hit their marks. Stealth was never in mind in it's design. The design emphasized reliability and defense. It's armor and hull were forged using secret Sarcanus techniques." The Captain explained calmly.
"They say you Sarcanus forge metals at a base located very near your sun," The General said with a grin.
"We do what we can to forge ahead," The Captain replied with faint smile.
The General rose quickly held his hand out to the Captain. This time he took it and they shook for a moment. The gesture closed the deal and the Sarcanus officers returned to the vehicle convoy.
As they drove away from the base, one of his officers leaned forward from the backseat of the vehicle. "Cappy, managed to break into their secure coms," Haggar said with a tired voice.
"That wasn't very nice," The Captain said with a smile.
"Sounds like someone from their government is dispatching some of the paramilitary police forces in our direction." Haggar said before reclining back into his seat.
"This will get tiring fast..." The Captain said to no one in particular.
