So...I made a big mistake today...going into my local EB games...I think thats GameStop? in the states...not sure...but yep...lets see...
saw Star Trek Online...Wanted it...forced myself not to get it...like really had to force myself >.<...
Second...saw Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver...in a few weeks I will be the proud owner of HeartGold.....
Third...saw a kickass preview for FF13...wasn't going to get it...but fate has played her hand against me...I will be the owner of it on the 9th....>.<...
Fuck me...

When I saw the title. I thought to myself. "Who'd you get pregnant!?"
lol..
Dude. Pass on the pokemon personally..
Should have gone with STO. It's at least a different concept. Not more fantasy ;p

Since I played the Japanese version I don't need a reminder, and it's a great remake, classical too, reminds me how awesome Pokemon used to be in the first two games.

Well, the only thing I care about Pokemon after Silver would be Gardevoir, and the Pokemon Special Mangas.

Is it bad that I was actually hoping someone was pregnant when I read the title?
As for the games in question...
I don't think I could force myself to get Star Trek anything, I'm not interested in Pokemon anymore (or really anything in that whole monster catching/collecting genre), though Final Fantasy 13 does kinda interest me just because.
Tell me when the next God of War game comes out and then I'll be mildly excited.

Yeah, I tried to call in and get a win-it-before-you-can-buy-it copy of God of War 3 Monday since the morning show I listen to was doing that on account of one of the hosts on there being a hot gamer/biker chick and she's aparently been going crazy over the thought of the new game (much like myself).
As for the Star Trek thing, its like one of my past loves once explained to me over a meal: according to her there's three categories of "uncool" kids (I put that in quotes because you could call it uncool but at some point uncool aparently became cool so whatever >> )
"There's the geeks, the nerds and the dorks" she basically said - paraphrasing here - "i.e. the ones who just like wierd stuff, the really smart ones who stick out like sore thumbs because they like wierd stuff, and then the retards who like wierd stuff and try to act smart but are really just retards who don't even fit in with the other two"
So my response was "So you mean the ones who like Star Wars, Star Trek, and Babylon Five?"
Lulz ensued.
