I don't know why but the thought popped into my head after a hockey game tonight.
anyone else play any sports? for fun with friends or in a rec. league ?....I play in a small Hockey league... and I"ll play whatever with friends...sadly that doesn't happen often...most of my friends ideal of playing spots is putting in Wii sports resort...:/

I used to be involved with baseball and had a brief stint with basketball but wasn't very good at it. I haven't played any kind of sport since I've been out of high school.

I used to do a lot more sparring than I do now. Most of my partners are about a hundred miles southeast of me, now. I enjoy baseball and volleyball, of all things.

Cool, I know sports are generally pretty big in the states, and it seems baseball is the choice to go with

I can agree with that, a couple sports are pretty easy to get into, when you only need a couple things, that's why soccer so big everywhere...all you need is a ball. I think Hockey's probably the most expensive...I had to get completely geared this year....I would have to say it cost near $1000-$1200 for everything :/
