Booo. So you can't use Borg ships? For a lifetime sub, you'd think they'd give you something really special.

Apparently people had a shit storm when they announced that there would in fact be a skill level cap. Really that's only disappointing if you were expecting Eve's extensive skill sets. But either way. The hardcore MMO fans went ape shit. Started saying things like "They shouldn't be announcing that this late!" "This game should go back into development for another year!"
I hate how everyone acts like games don't come out with bugs. And full fleshed out content. WoW was not perfect. I think people perceive Wow's success with this imaginary notion that WoW was the most polished MMO ever to come out.

...unfortunately Carlos...people don't like to think rationally...they want everything handed to them on a silver plater. but if that plater a scratch on it....they throw it away and cry, argue and moan...like the good little babies they are...then it can move on to threats and boycotts....now...if only they would do that for important things...and not trivial matters such as a lv. cap....

MMO gamers seem to be the most picky gamers I have ever seen. WoW recently announced they will add an ap that allows people to put auctions over the armory or Iphone. The initial response was YAY. But then the MMO fkers showed up. Citing that it said as "premium service" meaning you had to pay. And then it turned into a shit storm again.
It's like companies are not allowed to sell the things they develop. Cryptic, STO's developer, is shady in what they sell in their item shops. But this is an ap that only affects the auction house. So it's not game breaking. It's simply a convenience. Not a necessity to the game. You have to pay extra for convenience.
