Gwen fully understood in the drive by she was coming off a bit uncivilized since their meeting. In fact the main reason for her actions has been a stressful two weeks, the entire Unseelie attacks becoming more and more unmanageable. They after all have planned everything for their revenge for so long it seemed they studied humanity over the years even as they prepared for the inevitable attack. Still she understood the point of her guests on not having the need to even help them. If only they knew how much a threat the enemy were posing and how much they were doing to keep things under tab. Even though they working with other organizations within this world, magical issues have been on a massive rise in scale and RISA becoming far more bolder in interference.
"You know I understand I may come off as someone who is ordering you around like your my soldiers. For that I am sorry how I been dragging you around on this. There is more then just this going on, in fact in the last few months things have been getting far, far worse. Its also why we begun to work with other organizations even ones who sometimes can be considered enemies. If you have to know chivalry died in this world a long time ago, yes we do have some ethics still but in today's world it cannot be done that way anymore. This order went through a lot over the years and the last three centuries has hit us the hardest in the ways we had to change. Even though it doesn't affect you now it may soon in the future, since this is more then just the fate of Britain but possibly the entire world.", Gwen soon admitted from her seat.
Of course she knew it wouldn't stop the criticism but they had no time left, luckily they had a few days at best. As long they can prevent the witch's awakening and last long enough until Hollow's eve is over they would win.
When on the docks itself Gwen soon saw a ferry coming in which she soon look over her smart phone and soon says, "Right on time."
When the vehicles came over to them and the man getting out Gwen was caught off guard the comment he soon gave as she turned to James and Kate, "You know them already?"
Turning back to Dieter she soon shook back his hand and replies, "Ah yes, I heard much you done the good and the bad from my father. Never the less right now those differences cannot stand in our way when a threat which among many begins to become out of our control."
Gwen meant on the whole the Order knew of what was going on across the globe, it was the main factor in this. All the magical organizations who for so long kept secret must band together and more magical incidents continue to grow. It is the main factor on why she recommended to the Lord Commander to request assistance, especially that half of their man power within the last month has been depleted. Gwen was about to continue until another voice soon appear and a woman wearing same clothing as the others among Dieter's group spoke out.
"So your the direct descendant of Sir Lancelot I heard about. Hrmm so there are Mage Knights in this world as well.", Tamara soon spoke up as she walked up.
There was a far more difference to Tamara since the last time James and Kate saw her for one her hair was no longer long and now completely shorten. Not to mention she looked like she matured a little as well wear two cloths on her hands as well. On the gloves had some seals which would intrigue Gwen and the others as she introduced herself.
"Oh? And you are?", Gwen soon asked the new comer.
"Tamara Asheborne, A Mage Knight from another world. It seems the Knights of the Round Table survived in this world, I am interested in your brand of magic as well.", Tamara soon smirked as she saw the woman and knowing how strong she was by looking at her.
Turning to James and Kate she soon waves at them and adds, "Long time no see James, Kate, and the rest of you. But we don't got time to chitchat don't we Miss Lac do we?"
"Of course time is the essence we must meet with the leader of the Order as soon as possible. If our intel is correct we might have an actual magical war on our hands that could engulf the entire country soon. Also Mr. Gerhardt", Gwen soon stated getting back into the vehicle after stating that.
Tamara joined back with Dieter in their own car sitting right next to the man as she looked out the window as they followed the SUVs.
"Hrmm quite different looking from my world huh Dieter.", Tamara soon stated as she saw how much different with many buildings brand new or under construction.
Of course the riots of 2019 were so extensive it practically razed the entire city to the ground. As they moved through the practically empty roads and police check points Tamara soon noticed where they were going as suddenly they entered Westminster where the actual British Government would be at. Here she noticed the old buildings were reconstructed first, but not the original that were destroyed 6 years prior. Of course that is much reason to do so quickly being where the British Government is held at. They would continue into Westminster and soon arrive to Whitehall itself where they notice much security all over. Who would've think that the HQ of the Order of Camlann Mage Knights was directly below the British Government itself. The vehicles would soon enter a into a small tunnel which then suddenly the SUVs and the other vehicles stopped. Suddenly around them the floor begun to move as the vehicles were soon redirected below into another part of the building. Driving along they would come up into a secret underground area of Whitehall and one could note it looked practically new. As the vehicles all would soon parked they would notice a man standing alone as if one knew their politicians would recognize the Prime Minister George Lac with his glasses on his face. His blonde hair aging as he was no longer young anymore and been a politician in the Noble Party for many years.
Gwen would exit out of her vehicle first as she soon walked to the man and did a slight bow and soon says, "Lord Commander I brought the guests and the Order of the Holy Lance as to per your order."
If there was love between them neither even showed it as he would soon nod at his daughter nonchalantly and walked up to his guests.
"Welcome Mr. Gerhardt.", he stated bring up his hand and then turned to James, "Ah, so your the famous James Gransela and Miss Kate Casimir, it is a pleasure to finally meet the man and woman who did so much lately."
He would also bring up his hand to show he knew exactly who was James, even if his children didn't this man kept up with all magical incidents of the world. It is reason he was their leader but also Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
He soon turned and saw Tamara and soon says, "Ah so this is the Mage Knight from another world I heard about from Mr. Gerhardt. It would seem, he had quite a challenge as I heard recently."
Shaking her hand Tamara shook back with the best she could, as being with Dieter was more then just training in combat she got. She pretty much was acting like a different person if James and Kate notice it right away.
"A Pleasure Prime Minister, it is not every day to meet someone who leads a country in this world.", Tamara soon added as she finished shaking his hand.
"Never the less we do not have much time Mr. Gerhardt, it is exactly as we feared come we have much to discuss within the conference room.", George soon stated as he lead the group toward a hall way which had two armed men in tactical clothing stood at attention.
One thing, they can all notice the way they looked it almost looked like a private army and not an governmental guard here. Much has changed this nation since its inception and now if one could even get suspicious. It was starting to look like a military state then what it was not even a decade ago, which alone spoke volumes. As they arrived toward the conference room one could see multiple men and women were sitting down and all got up. A very large round table could be seen in the room, with half of the seats empty and various relics on the table. One could notice the conference room looked modern in everything exception of the table which look very very old. If James or Dieter take note they could even see some old names on the table at different parts. Those names look Old English but they are very obvious what the table was. It was after all the original Table the Knights of the Round Table used over a thousand years prior. It was maintained by magic and even can be considered a relic itself. Gwen would move toward where the name Lancelot would be as soon summon out her own relic Arondight on to the table. There was chairs for the guests that were not apart of the table to the side and a one could note an old throne in the room but empty. It of course was the original throne of King Arthur himself forever empty until the time of his return.
The Prime Minister soon walked in and walks to the table at the main part where normally King Arthur would seat as he soon nodded at the two armed guards who would soon leave. In fact throughout the entire time coming to this room they would notice multiple things armored vehicles to training sections and even advance computers all over. One thing would note was the symbol on everyone the symbol of a circle and swords within it. Once done everyone soon sat down with the Prime Minister soon pressed a button from his smart phone which suddenly holographic projectors activated on top of the table for everyone to see.
"Let us begin, may I first say to give thanks to our esteemed guests for arriving here today and an apology to Mr. Gransela and Miss Casimir on the way my daughter has acted told you both. As well I will like to also add the other guests and thank them for their timely help. I do hope the rest will come as per usual Mr. Gerhardt?", George first started to say as all the group in the room now should be settled now.

"I see, I see... irony, as I know plenty of people that would say otherwise about personal values. Chivalry is not just a set of manners you know, it is a guidance to how a person should live, examples for others to follow. Intelligent beings values virtues, and that includes higher beings that you might deal with in the future, I do have to recommend your organization patch up on that problem. Who knows if you might anger a powerful being so much they decided to wipe out humanity, something like the threat you're facing now."
In fact, if they turn up the standards to the level of how Anubis judged people, we'll be seeing a lot of mummies charging at this organization when they go through the trial. Manners and other social rules are not simply to make yourself be popular, but is actually a very important part of society and religions. There are numerous instances where men are rewarded for their virtues, and punished for their lack of it. It is not just something that belongs to man, but something that affects even gods.
It was however, a surprise to see Dieter and his team's arrival, something he wasn't exactly expecting. Gwen also seems to have a more friendly relationship with Dieter's group, so maybe they're just trying to him angry on purpose for their own goal.
"Ah Mr. Gerhardt, I'm surprised to see you here. Though I must say, as much as I'd like to have a strong ally like yourself, us meeting together seems to suggest dangerous events. Nevertheless it's good to see a friendly face around, unlike the kind of treatment I'm experiencing. And hello to you too, Ms. Ashborne. I hope Mr. Salvator is doing well? He was in fairly poor condition last time I saw him, but I think that potion would have helped in keeping him alive and all."
"Thank you for your help back in Egypt Mr. Gerhardt, I couldn't have done it without the help of you, Ms. Ashborne, and Mr. Salvator. A good day to you Ms. Ashborne, it's good to see you are in good health."
The two exchanged greetings with Dieter and Tamara before getting back into the SUV, on their way there, there was a few more things that James wanted to complain about.
"....I don't understand about the whole 'lack of time to talk' when we're sitting in the vehicle not doing anything. If you're in a rush, then it'll be better to make use of the little time you have is it not? Communicate with words and speech! This is exactly why magic has weakened by so much in modern times, because organizations like your own do not treat these seemingly valueless things with respect. Humans should shape the world with their words and... hold on. Hm..."
It is like he is dealing with robots here, only following scripted actions, and not doing anything that is deemed unnecessary. However as he continue to criticize these people, an idea suddenly triggers in his mind, getting him to stop and writing down some of these ideas. Whatever he wrote in the tome this time doesn't seem to be magical spells, but rather a theory, an idea, things that give energy to inventions. Whatever it is, it could be useful in the future when he refines it further.
When they arrived at their destination, James was slightly surprised to see the Prime Minister being here. Him and Kate already figured out that the two are related, but he did not exact the man to be greeting their arrival. Looks like there are some people with an intellectual mind after all, at least they know the danger of having a forced or shaky alliance in desperate times. The man not only give them the respect that James was looking for, but he seems to know what the group have done in the past. James was somewhat pleased at this, but Kate is worried that these people could get their information so easily. After all, they did not really went and yell out everything they've done, so it's not really safe assuring that someone knows all of their movements.
"An honor to meet you, Mr. Prime Minister. I hope your organization won't mind my servants, as I would rather not leave them so far away from me."
"Thank you Mr. Lac. My, your intel sure is efficient at their job, being able to detect incidents around the world."
The two follow the Prime Minister's lead to the room with the famous round table, judging from the mana that it gives off, it seems to be the real deal. That said, it's not an artifact that could be used, it's not like you're going to use it to bash your enemy's head in. The most efficient use for it would be drawing mana from it to replenish one's losses, and to train one's own mana capacity. Either way the two sits down on chairs that seems to be prepared for guests, and let the others talk, only nodding in acknowledgement to the Prime Minister's apologies to them.
The three familiars had been quiet the whole trip, and stands guard besides James and Kate. If James himself is not talking, there's no reason why they should join in this conversation, at least not for now.

The ride into town from the harbor was long, there were many security checkpoints along the way. To be expected, but the drive wasn't too bad. It gave Dieter a chance to see the sights. He didn't care the modernized parts of the city, the non-historical districts and similar. Those were built to modern standard, which he had a much reduced appreciation for, all told. Dieter was a fan of classic European architecture, as anyone familiar with him could guess, so those parts didn't appeal to him very much. The areas that they moved through at the heart of the city were closer to what he was used to, iconic English rowhouses butted up against the streets in almost unbroken walls, save for narrow cobbled stone alleys between them, and rising towers and spired edifices denoting places that once belonged to the nobility or government. Grand affairs, those; most having been converted in common places such as museums now. A way to allow their cultural significance to live on. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Tamara examining everything they passed with just as keen of perceptions.
"On the contrary, I suspect that this is the closest to your world that we'll be seeing, outside of surviving ancient ruins. A lot of these buildings date back centuries. Supposing similar cultural roots, I would think you could recognize some of these architectural trends," Gerhardt commented in response to the woman. Perhaps he was biased, but all of Europe's "Old Towns" had an unmatched flair. He suspected every country thought that of their own accomplishments, and they weren't exactly wrong to do so either. Tibet, for instance, was a beautiful country he longed to see again. That would have to wait for more calm times, however.
They chatted about similarly light topics on the way to the Knight's HQ. Dieter wore runed gloves as well as Tamara, it was more visible now with his hands on the wheel. They were plated with an alloy of titanium and silver along the back and knuckles that, in addition to allowing him to throw a nasty punch, would enhance the power of any spells thrown through them. This was done by both mundane means, via a conductive metal when using fire of electricity, and magically, from the vril-blitz rune carved into the left, the benefit here operating off of the principles explained back in Egypt. The right glove had another European occult symbol emblazoned on the back, the black sun. Those were just two of the new items his artificers had produced over the last several months. Never before had they been able to work arcane energies into so small of an article. No doubt, this was due to the merging of the planes. It was both an exciting prospect...and a terrifying one in its implication.
The German wasn't as surprised as the others to be pulling into a hidden, and heavily guarded, subbasement beneath Parliament. After all, he knew this group before and had been here prior. As had several of his immediate inferiors. Not recently, however, and so the precautions they've taken since the terrorist attack caught his attentions. The knights weren't joking around, that was immediately clear, and likely for good reason. After their foe's brazen attack last night, there was nothing to say they wouldn't drop in here next and try to decapitate the only real resistant England had against them. It was what he would consider doing.
He shook hands with the Prime Minister when offered the chance to do so. "Yes, so I heard. Please lead the way, I'm eager to get the full story."
There wasn't much to say at the moment, and no reason to mince words out in the open. He left his bodyguards outside of the round table room, though he did take Tamara, and moved inside to sit at the chairs laid out for guests. The number of relics in this room alone was fascinating, Dieter could easily identify half of them by sight alone, and it was no doubt due to these than the group managed to wield such influence over the nation. They weren't just weapons, those swords were legacies much like his spear. A direct link to their pasts, and a way to call upon the power of it. Metaphysically and otherwise. Considering they were another group that was aware of magic prior to the marcosmic merging, the former was a very important element of their group's powerbase.
"No thanks are necessary, Mister Prime Minister. It is an honor to be able to lend a hand to our comrades in arms, and fellow practitioners of the arcane. Despite our differences, let it be known that I would not forget the times we've stood together in the past, and the things we've accomplished. Yet I fear that this time, may be one of the greatest challenges we've faced in the last century. If not longer." Gerhardt said in return, a necessary bit of diplomacy from one leader to another. With that done, he moved to address the question. "On the way as we speak. In addition to our agents here, more will be crossing over from Ireland, with support from elements in Germany and France. Our hands are a little tied as you understand, but what we can provide should be sufficient considering that I'll be overseeing our operations here personally. To say nothing for our other guests and any aid they might be willing to render."
A nod at James indicated what he meant. The professor was capable, knowledge, and good to have in a fight. Probably worth more than a platoon of men. However, this time, he had more than a platoon of men. The counterbalance was that they'd likely need a lot more, but that was something they wouldn't know for sure until the briefing had gotten underway. Notable was also that Gerhardt wasn't instantly implying that the doctor and his company would be expected to help. That wasn't very surprising in a vacuum since the German was a gentleman himself, but it did make him stand in contrast to the pushier Gwen.
"Let's begin, time being of the essence."

Tamara would chuckle about Gedeon and soon replies, "You wouldn't believe me on how he is doing. Though he still hasn't woken up one bit."
Which meant of course Gedeon's own body fully recovered but he was still in a deep slumber for some unknown reason that couldn't be explained. The Potion though did help tremendously when it was used which likely helped in his recovery.
"Punctual as ever Mr. Gerhardt, of course I know of the time of my grand father's time you were quite an adversary but our two groups predate that time.", the Prime Minsiter replied knowingly full well how old both organizations are.
There was times they were at each others necks and back to back in situations that required them to work together. Of course the last major conflict was 80 years prior during an era of war that engulfed the world. Though much has changed his George's grandfather's time, much has changed and with the rise of technology progress pushing magical organizations to disappear or adapt to the changing world. So they have adapted, embraced technology and still managed to remember the past with the relics and magic they maintained. Now in this new enemy that is has been cause of quite problems it was the best time for them to stand together once more.
"Well yes Mr. Gransela your familiars can stay after all they might need to know information as well.", George would soon answer him before he would continue.
Once done soon the projector above would display images similar how the cruise ship James and Dieter were at a few month ago. On it showed various information. Specifically files on the recent attacks and of course images from various cameras.
"As you can see these attacks have been precise and brutal, from all information we have gather Mathor has been raging a war throughout the United Kingdom. The most recent being Cambridge with its complete destruction and of course last night. We already figured out his game after all he has been gathering specific information and then last night managed to take Merlin's Staff, an ancient relic used by Merlin himself. To give a brief catch up for our guests I will make this simple to understand and quick as well. Merlin's Staff is a key due to it was used to seal with an all powerful witch. Well to be precise it is a staff that sealed away the Fae, Morgan La Fey. Now most stories have changed as the myth continued to get more popularity with much of culture but not everything is exactly as the stories told. For one though we know the reason of Morgan La Feys defeat was by Merlin which was not told we do not know where she is sealed exactly yet. That is.. until recently.", George soon stated as the image soon took satellite images in whales.
On the image showed a few figures but the most notable image was a few of the fae moving around in around Holy Island, Wales.
"It would seem Mathor knows at least the general area where she could be sealed, but we can guess he too doesn't know where it could exactly. After all now having the very key to unleash Morgan La Fey on all mankind he would of done by now. The reason why I requested help due to half of our manpower have been depleted by Mathor who we are still not sure how many more of manpower he has left. Now then our options are quite limited, and to keep prying eyes from seeing we may need to contain the entire area. Though we have luck have it we have an expert within our mists which can narrow down where Mathor could be heading.", George soon stated now staring at James which would be quite useful.
"Mr. Gransela you will be paid of course for such work that I can give you complete assess to our data base. All ancient books we have gathered over the millennia have fully been digitized which of course you can look over it. Our own experts have been stumped due to how well Merlin concealed where the seal was. We wouldn't ask if we could find Merlin as well after all he was sealed away in a tree by the Lady of the Lake.", George knew how well and how much James the expert in these things were.
He in fact read all of his works and in fact even kept stabs on him on the sole fact he was the first and foremost a new type of modern sage. Compared to previous generations the old continue to force to adapt but also breeds a new type of practitioner of magic.
Now turning to Dieter he knew what was next and soon says, "Mr. Gerhardt your men coming from ireland is a blessing due to the location of Holy Island is you can help on the containment. For now we need to keep things quiet to not panic the populace on the island. Our men who are based in whales will join with yours and as well reinforcements from the Isle of Man will as well join up. If Mathor wakens the witch and goes through his promise it may in fact incite a conflict between mortals and fae not seen in a long time."
During this and the current issues all made sense though a single hand would soon go up which belonged to Tamara who was quiet the entire time but never the less had a question.
"Yes Miss. Asheborne?", George soon asked the young mage knight from another world.
Of course it was itself historic she was here due to sole fact it was a meeting between Mage Knights of two worlds. Camlann Mage Knights were no as flash or as powerful as those within Imaginary Macrosm. Though they had skills that Mage Knights from IM didn't have specifically how well they use their relics to not been seen through magic of illusion and other subtle magic.
"Yes good information and likely this Mathor would be heading but I noticed on the file, specifically stating Crown Prince of Alfheimr. If my own teachings are correct wouldn't that be apart of Norse and the faeries that belonged to the north? How would Unseelie Court which shouldn't have that connect be connected here?", Tamara soon asked which was completely valid.
George did a good chuckle and replies, "Good catch, yes it would seem the Unseelie Court at some point must of merged with Alfheimr. That alone tells us something far larger is afoot."
Tamara soon understood the answer then adds, "Doesn't that also mean just waking up Morgan La Fey is his only game? Its quite possible it could be other trouble coming."
"That has been noted, in fact both ours and our comrades in arms here have been wondering about that as well. Whatever Mathor wants he is doing a lot of trouble in doing so, but we still must stop him before magic is revealed to the world.", George soon finished with that moment waiting for any questions.
All was silent for a mere moment to let everything sink in as everyone in the room knew how much was on the line. Spite attempting to blend in and spite trying to manage things all these years it was becoming far more strange how magic sudden flare up all happening the last 13 years. It was making it far more troublesome and of course harder to hide the fact that magic was real and not a fantasy.
One person soon spoke up and it of course was his very own daughter who would soon say something.
"That is we already know his end game and he stated it in front of James and myself when we were below the Grand Museum.", Gwen soon stated which George's eye brow perked on what his daughter learned.
"Oh do please pray tell us, Dame Lac.", George stated in a formal tone that showed he was not here as her father but as her superior.
Gwen soon took a moment then states, "That he gave a warning to Mr. Gransela that if we interfere he would likely kill us all. Though I do believe his intentions were a full declaration of war not just on us but the entire human race. It to me seem his end game is the utter extermination of all of humanity not only in Britain but the entire world. Lord Commander we need to act fast because if it is truly the entire world we have to stop him at all costs."
Those costs however might be high if they mess up royally, though it was different then the last two times the end result was the same. Once again the entire Macrosm was threatened and it would be a Scholar, an alien from another world and of course a superman are the only ones who could prevent it.
"Well now, it would seem fate likes to pull us around like we are some sort of world fixers. It would seem Mr. Gransela, Miss Casimir, and Mr Gerhardt we got to save the world once more.", Tamara soon chimed in which of course will soon become a song that has been sung with regularity.
"But not alone, the entire order will deal with this and with everything we have. Be it magic or the mundane we must not allow the human race to be attack so blatantly.", George then stated with all the knights in the room all agreed quickly.
Now the real question would be a plan, a plan of action on case the worse happens. This would be up to George and Dieter well James would have to be the one to figure where exactly morgan would be sealed at. It was now a race to figure this out and make the plan work.

"Well, I'm sure he'll be fine. He survived all this way haven't he? So I'm sure he'll be able to wake up anytime soon."
He nod and finish off his greetings to the apprentice, before turning back to the rest of the room and preparing for his own answers.
Morgan Le Fey, if James' memories is correct, she is considered a fairy due to the later part of her name. Le Fey came from the French word "La fee", which means the fairy. However in Arthurian legend she seems to portrayed as a human enchantress. But the Le Fey part of her name is not the problem here, her true power lays in the name of Morgan. Many might view her as an important figure in Arthurian legends, however she is actually linked to two other beings. One such being is Morgen, the Welsh water spirit that lures men over with their beauty in order to drown them, similar to how Sirens are viewed. They also have the power to control water to a degree, and causes flooding and other similar natural disasters.
The other being that she have connections to, would be the Morrígan, an Irish Goddess that is connected to fate, sovereignty, and death in battle. This goddess is similar to the Norse Valkyries, in fact they share many connections such as having the crow as their symbol, and their associations to their duties. Though she might not be a very famous and powerful deity, she is still a goddess, which would be a lot more worrisome than fighting some fairies.
The idea of getting a reward in terms of a copy of the British Royal Library sounds like a decent one, it would save him quite some effort when he needs to do extra research. So he nods to the Prime Minister and give his own thoughts to the members of the room, but first, he asked Kate on her own opinion towards this. She knew of James' recent theory, so she understood what he was getting to.
"First... allow me to point out a problem here. Though the modern works tend to show Morgan Le Fey as an enemy of Merlin, it is not something that existed in the original Arthurian legends, they were not enemies in the original story, nor was she related to Mordred. That role belongs to Morgause, Morgan's sister."
Next is James to follow it up with his own explanation, on Morgan Le Fey, and on his new theory.
"Remember, the Arthurian legend have some degree of historic bases, not a lot but some. Are we truly facing the figure that existed in the past and is now known to us as Morgan Le Fey? Or are we facing something that people have fantasized and formed into Morgan Le Fey?"
It was a new theory that he thought of after their trip in Egypt, as he noticed how Anubis and Bastet seems to be different from how they are known as. It is true that Bastet was a war god, but that role of hers have been shifted to Sekhmet during later times. But if that could be done, how could you justify the changes in their duties and associations? What about her connections to Artemis? How can she simply become Artemis when it is two different culture, and two different figures?
His new theory, suggests that Gods and Goddess are not "immortal" in the sense that they do not change, they would grow and they would shift into different forms according to the worship of their followers. Some deities might have done this with their own methods, an example is Odin, who gives up one of his eye in exchange for wisdom. If deities are truly unchanging, Odin should not be able to carry out this feat.
Now if his theory is indeed correct, that would mean they have actually created Morgan Le Fey, using entertainment and the modern view towards the figure of "Morgan Le Fey". As such, the more they imagine her to be a powerful being, the closer she would be towards actually becoming something like that. Not exactly a good sign if these people would want to protect their Kingdom, so James wanted to point that out to make them realize this beforehand. He briefly explained his theory, and how their fear, like any other emotions, might make their target more powerful in the long run.
"Now, as for their location... according to the Gerald of Wales, she carried the body of Arthur to her island of Avalon, and buried him there. Avalon is also identified by him as Glastonbury, so perhaps you would like to take a look at that."
He then listened to the other conversations, Dieter bringing his organization will definitely be useful for dealing with tough situations. However he couldn't help but wonder how many people does this British organization have? This is, their home ground, yet they don't seem to be able to do something a private group can?
Next is the mentioning of Alfheimr, this is actually a bigger problem than the two here expected, in fact it'll be a lot more dangerous than Morgan Le Fey.
"Hold on hold on... Alfheimr? This makes it infinitely more of a problem than before. Alfheimr was given to the Norse God Freyr, considering how the Norse deities usually do things, we could very well have to face the Ragnarok if this goes bad! The world could be destroyed on the spot, much, much greater problem than having a bunch of fairies flying around!!"
Ragnarok is probably among the happenings in world wide mythology that is the most difficult for them to deal with, considering that's hundreds divine beings getting together for a war, and then having Surtr burn everything to the ground to reset everything. Not only that, Freyr was killed by Surtr during Ragnarok, further increasing the chance of this happening if they really have to deal with Alfheimr.
"Extermination of the world is nothing comparison to what Ragnarok is going to do, considering the world was actually destroyed during it! Even if Norse Gods are not widely worshiped during modern times, we're talking about a group that are mostly portrayed as warriors that fought until their death!"
"C-calm down, the other events leading to Ragnarok didn't happen yet... right? The war won't start yet, calm down."
James looks slightly pale as he suggests the possibilities, but recovers when Kate tries to calm him down and gives him a bottle of water. He thought about it, and nods in agreement, apologizing to the room for his outburst. That said, if Alfheimr is fusing into this Unseelie Court, they would still likely have to face Freyr. Freyr is a Norse High God that was associated with sacred kingship, virility and prosperity, and also seem to have some power over weather as well.
"Even if it won't go for the Norse direction, the Irish Mythology have plenty of powerful gods that could be a problem as well, it would be wise to plan well before anything is done."

"I think that we shouldn't be so hasty in believing everything that this 'Mathor' told us. I shall remind you that the Unseelie Court treat lying and misdirection as a form of art, more so even than other fae. I think that he is bluffing us, at least partially. I find it unlikely that the entire Court would rally behind one man before he even succeeded in his quest. However, that deepens the importance of stopping him ahead of time. My suspicion is that an even larger army is waiting in the wings to see if Mathor can pull it off, and if he does, they'll swoop in to back him once his victory seems to be ascertain. As inhuman as they are, the tactics of war and politics change little no matter who is playing at the table. This is not my first dealing with the fae, nor yours, Mr. Lac, so you know what I am theorizing is at least partially truthful from past experiences." Dieter said first to try and calm the group somewhat. The Unseelie were even more chaotic and untrustworthy than most, so it was unlikely they'd all throw their support behind this prince without an assurance of victory. So for now, it meant they were probably facing a much smaller group than the man was trying to trick them into thinking. That didn't make it much easier, however, and it would be a moot point if he did manage to break out this sorceresses.
So that was the next point he addressed.
"If you're sure that Avalon is on Holy Island, I'll make sure to deploy there and have it cordoned off. I would advise that you use your connections, Mr. Lac, to have the island quarantined or otherwise locked down in as short of a time frame as possible. Perhaps invent a story of another terrorist attack, and use that as a front to evacuate any civilians and covertly assemble our ground forces? This would not only allow us to move in our troops without raising suspicion, but also keep any collateral damages down. As you know, with security high, I can't bring forward any traditional naval assets to assist you...but I do have a pair of Q-ships that could be provided to act as fire support, provided that the seal does prove to be somewhere within reach of the coast." Dieter had the Prime Minister bring up a map of England while saying this, and he draw several lines along it to indicate the directions his forces were coming form. Three prongs: One up from the channel coast, another down from Scotland, and the largest over from Ireland. Theoretically, this meant they'd be able to have at least one quick-response force able to strike anywhere in Wales that the situation called for. The satellite imaging would help a lot here.
On the other hand, James had entirely different information regarding where Morgan was sealed up at. "Glastonbury, in Somerset? That is on the entirely opposite side of Wales," the occultist commented while looking at the map, stroking his chin as he did, "well, it would explain why they haven't found her yet, but surely they'd know better? Arguably, better than us, I would think. This is also supposing we're seeking an earthly Avalon and not a metaphysical one, not another dimension as we've come to know it via Tamara and Gedeon, but a sub-plane of our own. Such as the aforementioned Alfheimr."
It was definitely a complicated matter. "I'll reroute forces from the Channel and secure Glastonbury. We have no reason to ignore the lead with men so close at hand, and if it proves to be a red herring, it would be easy to move them up northward as reinforcements later. If it proves to be accurate, then we'll have people dug in ahead of time to resist any attempts at freeing the witch. Once again, I would recommend doing something to clear the area as a precautionary measure."
The greater implications brought up by James regarding the Norse gods was very concerning, and he wasn't sure what to make that. "I can't see Freyr wanting to destroy humanity, at least, not as I know him. My suspicion is that malcontents from his realm merely forged an alliance with the Unseelie. However, that said, if this Mathor is making allies in low places, I wouldn't doubt that more and worse creatures would rally to his cause later on, giants coming to mind. Possibly catching the eye of such deities as Loki in the process, supposing it hasn't already. It definitely is not a pleasant thought - at the moment, I would recommend we leave the gods to deal with the gods, and focus on the mortal realm. Hopefully, they can bring any renegades in the other parts of Yggdrasil into line without us having to do so."
They were strong people, but they weren't deities. If Ragnarok was going to happen, then that was it. But it was unlikely the gods would let that happen if they could do anything about it, so ideally, all of that was just more blowing smoke by the goblin. Once again, though, anything could happen if the guy manages to open Pandora's Box and break out Morgan Le Fey. That could well be the key they needed to start the end of the world. After all, the Celts and Norse shared some of their gods and myths, maybe over the years Morgan ended up gaining a personification amongst Vikings? A lot of their mythical entities were far from good people.
"I still think we're missing a piece of the puzzle somewhere," Gerhardt went out to speculate aloud, "why would the Seelie Court allow them to move like this unopposed? And further, what of the unaligned fairies, such as back home in Germany, and even more strange, foreign creatures in the East and Africa? Declaring war on humanity would surely bring them into conflict with all of these beings. How does he hope to win against so powerful of a host?"
That was a question mostly for the benefit of the Lacs and James, the former of whom, he made a final inquiry towards. "I don't suppose you've sought to contact that other court?"

Ah such a thing James Gransela was here today of course what he brought itself was a whole new Dilemma that opened a whole new can of worms. For many years it was believed Morgan La Fey was sealed away by Merlin the biggest issue is of course time. James stated there is many legends and easily be any of who he listed. The truth of the matter is no one knows for sure except by passed down stories that has been apart of the Order.
"Well to be precise Mr. Gransela the truth of the matter is we are not sure ourselves. Over the centuries much has been lost or changed by many people. This is why its better safe then sorry on what Morgan this one is. Though I will state that yes we are dealing with Alfheimr and that alone doesn't bode well for everyone here. Your knowledge may prove to us valuable and will as well send some men toward Glastonberry. Sir Tris you will accompany the Mr. Gerhardt's men and if the theory proven correct act accordingly.", George stated as one of the older knights soon nodded at the order.
"Luckily I am the Prime Minister and can pull quite a few strings, I already sent out an evacuation order for the entire populace. The issue being is time, if Mathor is moving quickly there might be unforeseen casualties even if we managed, to get all civilians out of the area. We may have to prepare if any leaks manage to get out, especially for eyes we do not want to see. Though I have been wondering myself how much of an army this Mathor has, especially as you stated Mr. Gerhardt this entire situation could be a large bluff or even be the real deal. As for the Seelie Court that is what is most troubling, we have been on good terms for generations but so far silence. I believe something bigger is at play here as this entire situation we have only so much information to go by. Until we figure that out we will have to meet Mathor and prevent another magical disaster that we have not seen in a generation. If anyone here find any information or figure out his motive it should be reported as soon as possible.", George soon stated as much was discussed and of course James Panick attack was stopped before it became unmanageable.
To give him more calm George waved a finger which soon the door opened which showed a butler come in with some tea to help calm the nerves for everyone inside, once done he soon took a sip and then continues, "Whatever the case is, if we may have to deal with gods or enemies beyond our capability we cannot back down now. Dame Lac, you will lead a special investigation team on Holy Island, you will take our guests and a detachment of our men to investigate.", George soon stated then turns toward James which soon a butler came up with radios and a special tablet device for James and Kate.
"Mr Gransela, this tablet directly connects to our data base do not worry for any data charges for its use. Its special issued and you can overlook anything in there to your hearts content. If you find anything that could help us, including the theory you have. All information we have everything is there from our secret history to when exactly when one of royal birth died.", George soon mentioned which alone was a payment and a way it could be used.
Turning his head next toward Dieter which George soon says, "I do know how much you done in the past and I will like you to have the honor of leading both parties into this fight. Out of everyone here you have the most experience and know how to handle any situation. Will that be alright with you Mr. Gerhardt?"
George couldn't directly lead this operation since he was the Prime Minister, he had to take care of all the string pulling and of course lead the British Government. If this was his youth he could but instead now leaves the actual combat leading to others. With the problems of other powers both mortal and non mortal they had to have a contingency plan just in case everything is completely lost. Whatever the answer it would be time to end the meeting, any more information would give given to the guests as they would all soon receive special smart phones which updates on each others location and if they want call one another. The Mage Knights themselves had to carry the devices on sole fact that not everyone could use magic.
With done everyone would soon get up with George finishing, "Even though you all just arrived, I am afraid not much time can be given for rest, meals will be provided of course for the road. Everyone good luck and godspeed."

"No, no, no interviews..", Edward would soon say from his hotel couch as he sat down on the phone.
Adriana would be on other side of the room staring out of the window, well Mr. Albert was handling a situation after the terrorist attack last night.
"Just find a way around it, oh and Levi keep a monitor on them. As long as they do not know what is truly going on we don't need to deal with the mess afterwards.", Mr. Albert finished as he soon hung up from his personal phone.
Adriana continued to stare out and soon would comment, "Trouble back at America?"
"The usual bullshit, still why it had to happen now of all times.", Edward soon stated as he sighed as he took more coffee.
"You know it might be best for you to leave today.", Adriana soon stated as she was still turned which Mr Albert's eye brow soon was raised.
"Oh? What is the United Kingdom going to blow up because of some idiotic terrorist or myth is going to actually destroy everything this time?", Mr. Albert would raise the question in a sarcastic manner though Adriana was not laughing at all.
"Did you send the blade like I requested?", Adriana would soon state as she turned toward Mr. Albert.
With an annoyed face he soon replies, "Yes, it is on route to Germany as we speak, along with a a certain young man which I have the not so pleasure in befriending."
This time Adriana did chuckle which she soon adds, "Ah yes, sometimes life can be so quite interesting with men of that company. Though I wonder what game the both of you are playing. This cat and mouse you play with RISA of all people."
"What can I say I am a capitalist, a capitalist who knows how to make a good bet. I don't trust these governmental bodies especially the kind that will be up to no good. This little relationship we share along with others is what keeping the spooks at bay. So, I do got a question, why would you help ones not from this world? What is your plan Adriana?", Edward would soon ask the woman who continued to walk forward passed him as she looked down on where his sat.
"What can I say even those of us above make bets too, and I sometimes things happen for a reason.", Adriana soon finished then turned away.

The vehicles within the underground were all prepped and ready to go, to help more so the luggage that belonged to James and Kate were already brought towards the facility well they were in a meeting. The SUVs were to be used to drive them to where they needed to go of course. Gwen was overlooking at the supplies when Tamara walked up to her.
"You know, you quite serious huh.", Tamara would soon point out standing next to Gwen with her arms crossed.
Gwen would soon chuckle and replies, "I have to be, this is the fate of my very country and I cannot allow anymore deaths be on my hand."
"I read the report and I can tell..", Tamara then stated as a fact which Gwen turns around with a questionable look.
"Tell what?", Gwen asked with suspicion.
"I can tell, you are not fighting for your country, your fighting to avenge your brother and mentor.", Tamara soon mentions only for Gwen to suddenly grab her and slam her on to the wall, soon stating, "You know nothing."
"Nothing? How is it I know nothing when I every well know this look.", Tamara then pointed out with a calm voice.
"How can you understand, Mathor has murdered my friends and colleagues like they are for the slaughter. How could you know on how much death he has brought us!! You are not from here or from this very world!! So how could you know!!", Gwen told off Tamara with venom and not even with any shred of mercy.
Tamara gives a truth but an answer that would help her case, "But I do know how it feels.... how it feels to lose family and be completely useless to stop it. I can tell how it can be when you see someone you care about practically die in front of you. But, but it is wrong to act on emotion because how can you take your revenge when your very vision is clouded."
Unable to speak more Gwen soon let Tamara go and walked away with a large huff. Tamara fixed her suit as to it was before and soon comments, "That could of gone any better."
With not much time as all vehicles were ready to go they would soon head out of Whitehall and begin their journey towards Holy Island. With not much time they begin to race toward to a battle that would be far more larger then they originally anticipated.

At a German Hospital
Como falcon would soon walk through the hospital on nonchalantly as he walked with purpose and his butler behind him. Of course one could question why he of all people were in a hospital owned by the Order of the Holy Lance but Como had to meet a certain comatose Mage Knight in a hurry. Finding the correct room Como could hear the beeps of the machine connected to Gedeon. Turning around he would soon notice the young Mage Knight's eyes would slowly begin to open at and show an unfamiliar site. He would wait for Gedeon to fully be awake and once he voices, "Where... where the hell am I?"
The Nurse would soon leave the room promptly as he soon walks up to see his good old friend that he meet over a year ago.
"You know most people getting burned and practically dead tend to stay dead.", Como soon voices toward Gedeon who turned to him.
"Como... what the fuck are you doing here. Where is everyone?", Gedeon soon asked the young mafia boss who's butler right behind brought him a tea cup which he drank out of it.
"Why my friend that is quite the inelegant way of saying hi. Regardless we got trouble brewing and we need you dressed now.", Como soon stated as he drank his tea.
Gedeon put his hand to his face noticing a small beard had grown out which was noticeable. Normally it would take months to come out which told him much. When he did so he looked around and then Como soon telling his butler to bring the items out.
"How long was I out?!!", Gedeon soon asked in a confused voice unable to tell what is going on.
"Hey this would be easier if you watch this, you been out for about three months my dear friend.", Como soon stated as he turned on the television set.
In German the news reports were in but Gedeon looked up at it and his face soon raised an eye brow.
"Here let me change that to the BBC.", Como then stated as he switch the channel suddenly showing a middle aged news anchor at the helm.
"We continue to get news reports that Holy Island is off limits given by the UK Military. Due to the unknown terrorist attacks in Holy Head, all civilians are to be evacuated from Holy Island until furthur notice. The Prime Ministry continues to say for what reasons but stat that a threat to national security is apparent. I repeat the United Kingdom is in a state of emergency."
With that Gedeon turned to Como who soon took out a sword out and some tactical clothing out which the Butler was holding the case.
"Long story short, we got a war on our hands. Get ready our plane leaves in an hour.", Como then stated to Gedeon.
Gedeon soon adds, "You got to be kidding me."

"...I suppose Freyr is one of the more peaceful, if that is the word, Norse god, said to bestow peace and pleasure on mortals. Nevertheless, we should be careful to not provoke any deity that appears, and not engage them unless absolutely necessary."
At least for now there's no signs of super beings destroying a city, so it's safe to at least assume the worse haven't happened yet. If it's not something they could control, it's best not to think about it, and hope for the best.
"Seelie Court... the 'good' fairies. I suppose it comes down to what exactly can they do? In mythologies, fairies mostly cause harm with small tricks rather than direct force. I suppose something like the Jack Frost would have more magical powers that could actually do damage, but other wise I think if something was done to them, it would be something that temporary restricts their movements rather than death. Possible reasons could be different types of enchantments, for example, ones that causes the target to lose their direction. Perhaps there are more direct way of contracting them, rather than just waiting for them to meet with you?"
When presented with the gift, James took it and hands it to Kate, pretty much what he does to any sort of document or items that needed to be stored. It'll be useful, but not something he can use right away, it would take time to turn it into an useful asset.
"Much appreciated, it won't go to waste in our hands."
He didn't say much other than showing his gratitude, after all if it's a reward for his work, he deserves it. That said, he did plan to help out even without the reward now that the English government has shown their wishes of asking for assistance from him, and give him the rightful respect for it. Helping out a close ally of his country is not too far from his duties as a Canadian. Kate would have done so in order to reduce the possible casualties, caring more about human lives than the professor. The two also takes the radio devices and pockets them, it would be useful now that they have operate throughout the British Isles, and brings news to them quickly. Time is exactly what they need and what they don't have much of.
-
James and Kate watched the display quietly, when she was about to go stop the fight between the two girls, James stops her and let them finish it out on their own. But of course he did not just let it end like that, with a quick thought, Mei Mei quietly zooms over and grabs the older woman by the shoulders. The Jiangshi watched her grip so it won't injury or caused too much pain to the human, but enough to keep her from moving away, as per her master's orders. If she was smart, Gwen would not have tried to resist, knowing the true strength of the being that's beside her.
"Hm, Ms. Ashborne, tell me, does recklessness spreads? First it was Mr. Salvator, then yourself, now we have Ms. Lac. It is like all of you believe you can take on the world alone, without a care about your possible allies or enemies."
He looks disapprovingly at the two girls, not very interested in their fighting, but more towards the reason of their quarrel and the result it might bring. In battle, it would better to not have that ally if you could not trust that person, who knows if they might accidentally shoot you in the back? Even if that won't happen, even the thought of it is enough to distract you.
"Ms. Lac, I don't know much about your history, other than that you have lost some close friends. I do however, know your future won't end well if you continue to act like this. Anyone that cannot keep their cool should not enter the battlefield, something that I told Ms. Ashborne here in one of our earlier encounters. You might feel bad that you lost people close to you, anyone will, but don't act like it's the end of the world or that you are the only one. Others have suffered similarly, what you should do is not lash out at others around you, but try to prevent that from happening again."
It was a short(in his opinion) life lesson, it didn't work with Tamara before, but hey he can't just let them go like this. Death will soon follow those that cannot control themselves on the battlefield, more so when you lack the ability to effectively keep yourself safe against your enemies.
"And Ms. Ashborne, I see some of my words managed to sink in, even though you seemed to have ignored it at the time. But it might be better if we don't bring up sensitive issues up right before battles, not everyone will accept it well, yourself included am I right?"
"Um... what he meant to say is... good job for caring about Ms. Lac, but you should take care of yourself too."
Though the general meaning is the same, the wordings Kate chose makes it a lot easier to be accepted than taking James' words directly. But hey, the guy likes to speak in such high and mighty tone, he thinks it makes him more like a professor to cover for his young age.
"Mr. Gerhardt, I just remembered. Do you have the Golden Scale with you? Perhaps we can use that to guess how close are we to the correct location?"
"I can use the Snake Ring of Truth to determine if the target is lying or not, then you can use the scale to pinpoint the exact location... of course we need to find someone with the knowledge of the place first, perhaps a fairy or something."
It wasn't too bad of an idea, just that they got no fairies on hand. James then added another point to the idea.
"Though, I believe low level fairies have a childish mind, in other words it is likely most of them won't remember even if they know of the location. We might need to find one with a bit more power to guide our way."
The two gave their advice, now it's for Dieter, their leader to choose where to go. So far he's done a good job keeping everyone alive, so the two scholars are quite confident in his leadership, intellectual and combat abilities. Which they're not as sure about the other two in terms of planning, Gedeon and Tamara have magical abilities far greater than the organization here, so they are not too worried about them if the need to combat comes up.

Hedging bets and assuming that Morgan would be a foe sounded pretty plausible to Dieter. Obviously the legend was real enough for the fae to stake their livelihoods on it, and considering they had longer lives and better memories, that alone was pretty heavy indication that something was up. Even if it wasn't the exact person from lore they'd be releasing it, the gist of it would probably end up to be the same: Timeless powerhouse gets loose and causes trouble. The greater specifics didn't really matter beyond that. Unfortunately they wouldn't know more until they got more data on the scene, then James could start picking apart the stories and figuring out what was what.
"Do what you can, everyone that can be saved, the better. And the sooner we start, the better once more. I would recommend that you have the army on standby as well. In a true worst-case scenario, we might have to deploy them against the Unseelie. It would cause phenomenal problems, however; I trust you'll agree with me that breaking the silence on magic is a small price to pay compared to an End-of-the-World scenario. Consider it just another precaution, a final ace. I want to leave nothing to chance with the stakes we may be playing at, as the professor here noted." If nothing else, the PM should be at least a little relieved that the German was already planning ahead, even if the topic regarding it wasn't very positive.
What really caught him by surprise was the offer to lead their joint task force. Even though they were allied now, their past was fairly rocky. It was a smart move, but not necessarily the easiest one to make. Pride had a way of tainting one's judgement, so it spoke volumes about Prime Minister Lac that he was able to see past it. Dieter rose and shook his hand again from over the table, giving a curt nod of the head. "I gladly accept the role, and thank you for the trust in giving me the position. I won't let you down. Have your commanders reach me ASAP, and I'll have my logistics personnel work on meshing together our CCC and supply networks. I'd like access to that satellite as well, if it can be arranged, for quick updates. Mathor can teleport, we may not be able to match him for speed, but with that eye in the sky, we can at least see where he moves and react accordingly."
Once that was taken care of, he took the phone offered to him and flipped through the installed apps via the touch screen. He wasn't new to technology, but he tended to prefer older equipment. It lasted longer, and was much more robust when it came to magical interference. However, turning down a gift would be in poor showing, and it was already linked into the Knight's network. Very useful.
"Before we go, I agree with the professor here, and advise trying to make contact with the Seelie. How to do that, I am not sure. I assure you it's different in Germany, but I trust that your organization has people more in the know, or failing that, either Mr. Gransela or one of my own archivists could probably provide the information. Let me know."
From there the meeting dispersed, with the adventurer continuing to fiddle with his new toy on the way out. There were a lot of people to update on new happenings.
-
Before getting back to his car, he of course saw Tamara and Gwen fighting with each other. The man almost stepped in, but stopped himself upon realizing that Ms. Lac was merely posturing and didn't intend to make it into a full-fledged brawl. Tamara had learned some restraint over the last few months, but had a long way to go when it came to 'what to say and when', there was an art to that kind of thing. But honestly, this one was more Lac's fault anyway, apparently she was still on a short fuse. Understandably, but blowing up on her allies like that would make her a liability in battle.
Dieter chose not to voice this immediately and make the situation worse.
"I did indeed bring the scale, and I was considering that option. This is why I spoke of 'Avalon' and how we should interpret it. The scale requires an understanding on the holder's part, in what form does that take?" The man first stated. It was an issue, but one James had thought of. "Aha! That is a good idea. Finding a fairy of worth will be tricky, however. The nobles of their kind, the ones we will want, tend to not frequent Earth very often. That leaves options of summoning one, or going to seek them out. Neither are very solid options. I would advise summoning, of the two. The Courts have a strong connection to this land, places of strong natural beauty would likely make for the best ritual grounds. That is my advice."
"On the other hand," he began, "we could capture a member of Mathor's host and use your ring to interrogate them. They may not know specifics, but I believe it will be enough for the scale to operate. We do not need to find where this Morgan is actually hidden; merely where Mathor intends to go first, then head him off there and destroy him before more harm can be done. I suspect this route will be the easiest one, a skirmish with his host is inevitable, I think. But we will see."
"Pursuant to that, I'll be following Mathor to the Holy Island and beginning the search there. If he is to be beaten, it will likely take our skills to do it. More so, pressuring him will be to our advantage, I think. Now that he has those parts he is on a time table, in foreign land, with limited forces. As dire as the situation is, we hold some cards - or so it appears at a glance."
The conversation continued as they moved for the garage. "Indeed, I think the PM is going about this the wrong way. We should be seeking to destroy Mathor rather than try to race him to find a location that we already know less than him about. Supposing we do find it, we shall have to fight him anyway to keep it secure, so why let him pick the time and terrain of battle? Further, who can say what pandemonium could happen if we're to fight overtop of the ground Morgan was sealed at? It may do the work of his keys, or worse. My strategy for he moment is to cordon off the island and tighten our noose, harass him, pick off his troops, and bait him into an offensive that can't be won. While doing that, my men in Somerset will dig around there for clues, and ideally, you will be doing the same in those archives. Let's use our superior manpower, we can afford to fight and search without compromising either task. Mathor cannot. Taking one of them alive to question can be considered top priority, as such; it will further both objectives. Supposing this does lead us to Avalon, all the better, but I would be wary of rushing there even if it does work out. We do not want to be the ones to lead the fairy there in a twist of fate."
It was definitely an aggressive posture. But with the potential for Ragnarok on the horizon, being conservative was just as risky. Rather than play at unknowns they had one solid lead: Killing the prince would end the threat. Likely his alliance and army would break up then and there and end the threat for good, even if not, as an Unseelie Mathor probably was paranoid enough to keep all the keys on his person. So after dispatching him they only needed to take one from his corpse to foil the plot and stop any usurpers in the short and long term. How it'd work in practice, they'd have to see.

Gwen went silent at other words that was given but understood her outburst could quite possibly endanger the entire operation. Though she would have not much say the moment James stopped her which put her exit into complete hold.
"L..let me go!", Gwen would soon say only to recognize the struggle was futile.
Of course she did have enhanced strength but before she could use her magic she would be easily crushed so she simply stopped protesting. Tamara moved forward which she soon fixed her suit up and soon walks forward.
"Well let's just say those who are born with magic are different then ones who figure out magic. That or you becoming a wise old man in his 20s could explain it as well.", Tamara soon responded which of course was both an honest reply and a witty take on James' Sage title.
Completely harmless fun of course which didn't change the situation with Gwen listening to James very own advise which would hope to get into your thick head. Though it must be quite interesting all Mage Knights James had met have all this in common, which was it a strength or a weakness?
"Understood.", Gwen soon replied as she accepted whatever James was saying to her.
All the while soon turned to James who gave his way of talking and then Kate adding in her own opinion which Tamara soon replies, "Aww and I care about the both of you too."

A Day later
Driving toward Holy Island was not quick, it would still take them hours and of course preparation as the vehicle would arrive soon at the current check point. Taking out an ID and as well scanning them, the checkpoint toward Holy Island. Of course the evacuation order was now in effect and the day light showed it being behind schedule. They would notice long line of vehicles as they made their way, everyone being check to see if they were 'terrorists', as the cover story goes. One thing can be noted though many of the residents were not buying and in anger throughout the island. The vehicles would soon head to the main base camp that was set up for Dieter to oversee everything as they passed the area noticing the tents and a few notable hastily put up sections near a building. It was in the middle of the island and able to see everything along having the computers all set up to the feed. Exiting out of the vehicles they would soon be greeted by two Knight-Commander's one James would recognize from earlier another no one has met yet.
"Welcome Mr. Gerhardt we been waiting for you. As well Mr. Gransela please forgive my colleague here for his outbursts, he is known to be rude. My name Quintin Olwen, Knight-Commander of the 5th Knight Squadron.", the man soon stated one could notice he was wearing a military tactical clothing used by the British military though his patch showed the Camlann Knights.
Gwen was the first to react and soon reveal, "His family is just as old as mine though Quintin didn't gain his own family Heritage."
That of course could raise a question on who he was though if they others actually accessed the database and research the current members would know that Quintin was a direct descendant of Sir Bedivere of the Round Table. With all the formalities done then were lead to the nearest tent which itself was the command center, they would notice various others all working overtime trying to narrow down where the the Unseelie could be. All meanwhile Knight Commander Boris was giving a death glare toward Dieter who would recognize someone who simply disliked working with "The German". Others he can handle but he never liked the man and was in a foul mood. Though he did not say it, after all he was now forced to work for the very man which itself was quite ironic.
"And here is the command center, we already begun sweeps with drones but so far no hits. As well over here we have a direct link just in case the theory of Mr. Gransela is correct to keep us updated over there. The building we have commandeered has been set up with rooms for you all to rest as well, over to the other tent next to hours is the armory if you need more ammunition. With everything settled Gwen would put both a old style map and of course the computer monitor's showing the current maps.
"Here is the map of Holy Island, as you can see a large portion of the island is heavy in with forest, swamps, and of course Lakes. This section of the island is heavy invested in cattle and then of course we have our few cities at different points on the Island. The drones been having a tough time to find Mathor due to the tree cover and lately a mist has been showing up at different points of the island. As well due to this our tanks and other heavy vehicles would have a tough time in the region so we will have to rely on light vehicles and of course on foot. Right now its like a needle in a haystack, Gwen I do hope the people you brought with you could help us save time to try to find them right?", Quintin soon asked from the part of the table.
"Well that is why we brought them abroad, Mr. Gransela and Mr. Gerhardt what is your idea on trying to find Mathor. We have a few options, like the one Mr. Gerhardt suggessted or we go directly where the scene we last saw the Unseelie. Or do you have any other ideas?", Gwen would soon asked.
In Germany
Gedeon finished his shower and soon would begin putting on some tactical gear as looked into the mirror. The face look the same as before of course except the unshaven face which made him look rough then what he was before. He had not time, from what Como had told him he had to hurry to Britain. Once done he soon entered back into the room as he looked at the blade before him. The First thing he noticed of course was the strange old markings he didn't recognize but sense both the blade and the hilt gave off a bit of magical power.
"Como, where did you get this blade?", Gedeon soon asked his companion as he was preparing to check out of the hospital.
Como soon turned after signing something to a nurse who was silent on not noticing what Gedeon was wearing which made him look like a soldier. In fact Gedeon found it odd no one even stated anything which made him wonder where exactly in Germany he was in.
"Oh its a gift from a friend, who is a friend to my friend, who told me to give it to you. You know sometimes I forget your not from around here, but we got to get moving.", Como soon stated as it was now time to go.
"That is not an answer but your right let's get going.", Gedeon soon replied exiting out of the room.
Outside the hospital there was a car waiting which the butler soon got inside the driver seat leaving him and Como in the back seat. The car would start moving toward the nearest airport which left Gedeon and Como alone together.
"So how we going to get out of the country with this gear? Last I check all of it is not allowed at the airport.", Gedeon soon mentioned which the Mafia boss soon shrugged.
"Do not worry I got us a ride which will never be seen.", Como replied which brought more questionable look from Gedeon.
"You don't say.", Gedeon responds which he was still skeptical which the vehicle continued on its way.

"Well, lets just say some of us are better suited in their roles than others are, I certainly can't lead as well as Mr. Gerhardt, or fight as well as Mr. Salvator in physical combat. But I say we should view others with their strong point, rather than their weak points. I certain do take pride in my own strong point that's for sure, and I'm sure you do as well."
"That's good to hear, it's better to have friends with you rather than treating them as enemies right?"
James replies, but looks away when Kate 'translates' what he said earlier. Kate looks at this with a smile, but didn't press on the issue. The professor turns back to Dieter to focus on the issue at hand.
"It will be quite difficult to chase after a fairy, considering they're known for trickery and illusions, so I think you're quite right in that we should try to use force to end the problem. If we can catch them in the opens, the situation should shift to our favors by a great amount."
The car trip was... really boring to make it direct, there really was nothing they could do for entertainment. As much as James like his profession, he still gets tired after hours of reading, and have set aside the tablet to do something else for a change. The problem is there's nothing else to choose from, so several hours into their trip James and Kate would both be sitting there, looking bored and tired of the long road trip. Eventually they went off to play with the two familiars that have an animal form, at least it's better than just sitting there and counting trees that they pass.
Other than that, it gave them sometime to talk with the German and the Foreigner from the other dimension, finding out what they have been doing since they last met. Some information could be exchanged about each others newly developed abilities, so it could be helpful in battle. Several jokes were thrown around like how traditional English food was bland to make it sound well, and about how most mage knights they met seems to like using their brawn more than their brain.
-
Finally they arrived at their destination, having a day long car ride could be pretty rough for people that aren't used to sticking to a single spot for a long period of time, good thing the two scholars usually spend a long time in front of a table when they write so it's still manageable. After a stretch to loosen up their joints, James and Kate heads over to the two Knight-Commanders to greet them, and was less than impressed to find one of them being the fool from the other day.
"Please to meet you, Knight-Commander Olwen. No worries, I usually don't mind being bothered by pesky critters, there's more important issues to handle."
"Good day Mr. Olwen, please don't mind what the professor is saying, the long trip trapped in a car is certain not improving his mood."
They were guided to the command center, where the group gets the chance to observe how the organization is doing. So far it seems like they were at loss on what to look for and where they should look at, probably a sign of poor command ability. James look a look at the map on the screen, and had them focus their search on lakes. If the Morgan they're looking for here is the Arthurian one, then she'll probably be near a body of water, she is after all known as the 'lady of the isles' so a lake with some isles seems to reasonable.
"I'm pretty sure having the treadmills rolling into the area would not be good at keeping the existence of magic a secret, everyone will try to dig for the reason why we're pulling something like that into the area. If you're going to move the army then I suggest only use them for scouting and to keep unnecessary personnel out of the area just in case battle breaks out."
He was also a bit concerned on how they are evacuating much of the local population away, it's not that he believes it's a mistake to do so, rather he is worried how well could they do it. Would there be many people still in the area? Would they get in the way of their operations? Would their information be leaked through them? Plenty of problems in that direction that he hopes the organization did take in mind when they move. Of course, he's not sure that these people are willing to hand over everything they know, so he nods to Kate, who would secretly use the artifact which would allow her to distinguish lies from truths. They might be able to detect the artifact if they have someone with high enough ability, however someone like that should be able to notice it's not a harmful spell, and probably would not try to stop it even if they notice it.

Dieter didn't have much to do on the car ride either, except chat, think, and talk with the other members of his company. Which in addition to the usual people, James would note also included the cat that he received in Egypt. This one seemed to prefer its animal form to a human one, probably because it was sneakier - and this is worth noting because no one had noticed it in the car prior to it appearing from out beneath the driver's seat to perch in its 'owner's' lap. This didn't bother him much, as he was more than capable of driving one handed...not that they were going fast enough to necessitate two. The checkpoints and scans got old fast, particularly, since it was only stopping them. No doubt, as the doctor spoke of, any fairy infiltrates could just fool the guards via mind tricks or illusion. But appearances were important.
"They have guile, but we have wits, and a fair bit of magic of our own. It won't be easy to fool me, nor your secretary, I would think. We both practice the college of Internalistics, and those are as useful for warding the mind as they are for clouding it. But we shall see. I've met fairies before and their abilities can range from child-like to deific; though, the latter are quite rare, and tend to not show themselves on Earth." This was one of the work related things Gerhardt spoke about during the ride, along with more casual topics. They certainly had the time to chew the fat over anything that came to mind.
Along the way they passed civilians being evacuated from the area, and running some mental calculations didn't make Dieter very happy about the prospects of the government getting everyone out in time. The mood of the populace was another concern, albeit a minor one. That was an issue for the Prime Minister and his spin doctors, not for soldiers like himself. Their job would be to deal with the threat, and if it came to it, protect anyone caught in the firing line. But he severely hoped that wouldn't happen, it was the last thing they needed.
-
Dieter was quick to move into the base once they arrived there. It was a little makeshift, comprising more tents and prefabricated structures than permanent buildings, but that couldn't be helped due to the nature of their timetable. It held a commanding view of the area due to being on a wide, steep hill, and he took a moment to take in the view before meeting and exchanging pleasantries with the two CO's on site from the Camlann Knights. Dieter tactfully ignored the visible scorn on Boris's face, the spear bearer had dealt with the man before and was not fond of him, often likening him to a troll himself. But there was no time for that now, they had a war to prepare for. Suffice to say, he was quick to follow them into the tent they were using as an HQ. The array of electronics within it was impressive enough to make him whistle in amazement, both at that diversity of equipment, and how fast they had got it all established. Fine work, there.
Dieter's first contingent from Ireland landed not long afterward and moved into the base. Amongst other things, they brought more prefabricated structures with them; in the form of fiber canvases impregnated with concrete that they were able to use to quickly establish fortified, dome-shaped buildings. They immediately began to replace a few of the tents with these, with several acting as motor pools for them to push their vehicles into to keep them out of sight. Barracks came next, to house the new personnel. They wore their own tactical clothing, but of a similar nature to their boss; it all appeared to be from last century. Gumdrop helmets akin to those used by former East Germany, STG-44 patterned rifles, Y-strap harnesses with stick grenades, knives, and magazines attached or threaded through loops. Their armor was very modern, however; sophisticated, lightweight dragon skin vests with kevlar/carbon fiber boots purchased from private companies through dummy accounts. Closer inspection would reveal that the headgear was made of modern materials as well, though styled after the iconic Cold War era helmet. The guns were of new construction as well. That wouldn't be a surprise to anyone with them back in Egypt, but it may be to the other Knights. They brought armored support as well, but mostly lighter stuff; no true tanks.
While they did that, he poured over the maps and information that was available in electronic and physical form. Troop rosters, supply counts, population figures for the island, etc. He was not the only one interested, the cat perched on his shoulder hopped onto the table to peer intently at one of the computer screens displaying live feeds from the scout drones around the area. The German didn't pay it much mind as it did so.
"It all looks to be in order so far. My immediate concern is how our stockpiles of iron bullets will hold out. We'll mostly be relying on your supply lines for that. We have our own, of course, but it isn't something we keep in as great of in number; we don't encounter hostile fey as often as yourselves. Steel-cored munitions will work as an ersatz substitute, but we'll face a loss in combat efficiency if forced to use them exclusively," he said to Quintin first. "We'll have to hope the fighting doesn't last that long. The evacuation concerns me as well. For an island of around 20,000, it's progressing very slowly, but I suppose there's little that can be done about that. If you can, light a fire under the government to step that up. I don't need to tell you how much trouble collateral damange and witnesses will cause for us if a fight breaks out. We need them out of the way."
The actual business of how to find Mathor and/or Morgan came next, and he let James speak his piece about this first. They were thinking alike on where to begin. "We can use the satellite to keep an eye on the plains and other open areas, those should be our areas of least concern, since we can monitor them easily. Focus the drones on scanning the lakes, marshes, and forests, with emphasis on the waterways. They do possess thermal imaging, do they not? The fairy are living beings so they should appear on infrared scopes, though it is certainly within the realm of possibility that they could hide themselves from it using either arcane or mundane means. I would bet that the mist we're seeing is an example of the former, for instance. But still, it cannot hurt."
He drew up a map of the island on one of the computer screens and began to point out various parts of the island. "We'll deploy blockades across the center of the landmass at its most narrow point, this will allow us to control non-magical movement between both halves. From there, we'll send in men to scout the thickly wooded areas to do the work the drones can't. It will be dangerous, but the drones can provide fire support. I need you to do me another favor and commandeer for us some helicopters, and base them nearby; they'll be crucial to our plan. Once our recon elements find the fey, we'll deploy by air to surround and destroy them. Similar to the Rhodesian "Fire Flush" tactic from the Brush Wars. We'll be the cavalry, Knight-Commander, just as your ancestors were."
The man delivered that last line with a grin, it was a serious suggestion, but also one he figured would appeal to the heritage of Quintin and his soldiers. The strategy made use of their manpower and control over the terrain to eventually box in Mathor until they could find and annihilate his host, as he had discussed with the professor back at Whitehall. Air mobility would further allow them to negate as much of the Unseelie's powers as possible, most mass teleport spells weren't very fast to fire. In theory, they should be able to drop in and maul the enemy army for a little while even if they do manage to eventually get away. From there, it was just a matter of finding them again to repeat the process, if needed.
"I'll send a team to where Mathor was last sighted, but I don't think we should head there personally at the moment. It might be a dead end, and if it is, we'd be wasting time to follow it that could be spent here. In the event he is still there, we can arrive by chopper in moments and carry out combat operations as per the plan."
Supposing no one had anything else to contribute for or against that, he'd start to send forces into motion. Once again, he agreed with James and wasn't very fast to deploy tanks; though, he did have them sent to the blockades he mentioned. It wouldn't be unusual to see them in the event of a terrorist attack, as the cover story was, and having forces in those areas would allow them to aid in the evacuation. Those troops were issued borrowed uniforms from the regular army to fit in. Smaller contingents were sent to Holy Island's cities as well to hurry along the procedures in that area, and so that they could keep an eye on those areas as well. From there, it was a matter of time until they found either the rogue prince or his seal. With his forces systematically sweeping the island, his places to hide would begin to shrink within the hour.
"Well well, Mathor, the pieces are in place. Let us see how well you can play the game," Gerhardt said to himself while watching the screens for signs of contact.

Mathor, over look the lake as the mist continue to roll into Holy Island, the time was almost ready as he stood over the lake.
"My Prince everything is in place and it seems the humans continue to attempt to separate the island from the rest of Britain.", a shadowed figure soon stated which one could notice resembled a boogieman.
Mathor soon shrugged at the prospects but never the less everything was on schedule and if only the humans knew how much would soon occur. He was soon looking at the sky as the overcast was slowly rolling in as a thick mist continued to enter the entire island.
"It is now time... once the mist engulfs the entire island their technology will ease to work properly and their so called radios will not work well. After all I have many allies and even those from Ireland have arrived as well. Soon we will show the rest that our cause is just and nothing will stop the beginning of an new era.", Mathor soon stated as he smiled which the Boogieman soon replies, "And that of your grandfather Freyr? He is an ally of the mortals is he not?"
"No matter, very soon the mortals will soon realize being here was the biggest mistake they ever made. Have them our forces begin their assault as I begin the ritual. At this lake of legend, very soon we shall unseal Morgan and unleash hell on the mortals and Avalon.", Mathor soon stated which the Boogieman soon left.
Walking forward Mathor entered the water with the Staff of Merlin in hand as the waters separated as he walked deeper into the water once the water was around. He soon began an ancient Unseelie chant which soon showed a seal that was glamoured into the ground. Placing the Staff on top of the seal he soon began another chant just as ancient of the other.
'By the seals of nature and as that I commend you to release the galmour to the seal of the one called Morgan La Fey!!', Mathor chanted as suddenly the ladies began to twist like a maelstrom which if satellite's from afar may note.
Soon the seal on the lake began to glow and suddenly a large energy was unleashed upward for all those in island and outside could see. As it soon the sky itself began to turn. Of course this was a specific seal that Mathor knew of but it was not the only one on the island. In fact the entire island itself was far more then meets the eye, in fact it's quite ironic the landmass was called holy island to Mathor's amusement. As the light continue to go into the sky one could see a massive magic crest in the sky, there would be no way to hide this. In fact it could very well be called a phenomenon itself to the humans. Soon a piece of the crest disappears and suddenly just as the light going up ends a great light fires itself toward the north side of the island toward holyhead.
"Ah that makes sense to the main seal must in in that mortal town of holyhead. If I now know so does the mortals, let us see who shall get to the seal first.", Mathor stated as he soon took merlin's staff in hand and walked away with a grin.

Knight-Commander Boris continued to be silent even as knowing his not so well liked company noted his existance. Regardless Quinton was here and one thing this other Knight-Commander was do not pick a fight with one of your best leaders within the organization. Regardless the manner in which Dieter commanded was effiecient, even as the whole group had to endure just a brutal car trip. As well the entire help from the order of the Lance was quite the boon, as both worked quickly as possible to meet their commander demands. Ad he laid out his plans and as everyone watched it was obvious why the Prime Minister chosen Dieter as overall commander, he was just that good and better.
"We have enough supply to last us a around five all out assaults, we would have more but Mathor raided and destroyed most of our main stock. We attempting to gain more supply but if we get dragged into a prolonged battle it would depend how many far we dealing with here. An whole army? I say a few days though I hear we are in overtime to try to supply us more on a short notice. As for why it is taking so long there is one thing about welsh is they are just as stubborn as a Scotsman. I hear a large portion haven't even left at least 5,000 continue to refuse to leave the island and giving us a hard time. Never the less we will pool as much resources to get them all out of here before Mathor moves, I do hope.", Quintin soon reported as he turned to one communications officer who nodded back.
When James soon spoke the Quintin soon turned his head to listen. Whereas Boris was ignoring him he was not.
"That is an excellent idea Mr. Gransela, of course we need to keep this under wraps.", Quinton soon stated as James offered some advise which was practical.
"Yes we should be able to begin operations now as to per your orders. The tanks will for now stay near the bridge to over see the evacuation so no one would ask questions. Though I fear the Prime Minister will not leave this unscathed.", Quintin soon stated as Dieter's plans were laid out.
When hearing about something about heritage brought a smile to the knight commanders face which he soon replies,"Yes no matter what we can handle this like the Knights of the Round of yore. Now all is time to see when will Mathor reveals himself."
With that to time to plan to battle plan was set and ready within the hour they began to carry out the orders of Dieter. Though one snag that would occur it would bring something no one would expect.

As the recon would continue to move about across the island as well the bridge was busy monitoring the evacuation. The ship's in the ocean would notice something far stranger then they saw. Thick mist began to roll, at first looked natural like anything you would see, but as the minutes continue to pass there was an oddity.
"Hey did weather report say about mist today?", one of the sailors soon asked from a deck of a ship.
"Not that I know of, no there wasn't", another replied as the mist began to surround the ship's as they monitor for the forces on the ground.
As the two men were looking noticed others on the ship unable to figure out was going on. One would soon pick up a radio soon stating s very thick mist like fog was coming in. Of course as that was happening soon someone thought they saw something in the water. Looking down the sailor questioned what it could be. As he stared down second sailor soon asks, "What is it? Saw something?"
First silence then nothing turning back he soon replies,"Must of been my imagination, I thought I saw som-"
Suddenly two scale like hands appear and a screech so loud the sailor's head was soon broken by the neck. The waters began to churn, as the second sailor had to time to react as the water began to get violent. As well the same time the computers on all the ship's would begin to go haywire. And the radio would soon cut out in the middle of the report from the patrol ship. It would soon be appearing at the same time as others like attacks.
A squadron was moving toward a nearby house in holyhead, in formation they we knocking on doors. As they moves house to house it was completely calm. Though a thick mist began to appear which itself was odd.
"Say, did the weather report say anything about mist today?", one of the men soon asked.
"No, not that I know of. I mean unless its.. say, take a look over there!!", the other man soon stated pointing at what was seen a child running passed them and into another house.
"Another local, staying put huh. Bloody stubborn aren't they. Well let's go and see if they take a hint.", the first soldier soon stated as he walked toward the house and toward the back yard. What looked to be a normal English house they soon noticed a tree house, and saw a figure suddenly enter it.
"Well you want to go or you want me?", the second man soon asked.
Of course the rest of the squad stayed on the main street during this since it was after a child.
"You, since you saw the kid first.", the soldier soon replied.
"Fine... fine... let's go see shall we?", the man soon walked up to the tree house and put his rifle on his back. He soon climbs up soon noticing a little girl was sitting in the tree house.
"Hey, I am friendly I am a soldier you see. Where are your parents? Are you here alone?", he soon asked her.
The little girl soon pointed pointed her finger toward his chest.
"What is it?", he soon ask.
From outside the tree house the other soldier soon yells,"How long your going to take in there?"
Walking around he soon turned to the house and then looked down noticing blood on the ground. Wondering where it came from he soon followed the trail until it leas to the garage he noticed wad ajar, putting his rifle up he soon slowly moved forward pushing the door open to only see bodies of two parents and a little girl inside. They were mangled beyond recognization like they were ripped apart.
"What the bloody hell..", he stated only to soon hear a scream and gun shots from the tree house.
Running back he soon runs over like the rest of the squadron. The screams were familiar whatever it was it only lead to one conclusion they all knew too well. A channgling, a blood channgling. They moved quickly help their fellow squad mate only to suddenly a green thing with horns to jump from the building stabbing him in the back. Without knowing suddenly gun fire erupted across the entire city.
As the evacuation continued at The Four Mile Bridge, everything was starting to get smoother. Majority of the 20,000 residents have manged to be moved leaving around 2,000 left, and a few hundred still scattered on the island. Not to mention tourist thst counted around 700, they just need another hour now before it was fully done. As well with reinforcements arriving to help, not to mention all the tanks were ready here. It looked everything was on schedule.
"Please move in an orderly fashion, shelter will be provided on the other side of the bridge. Please keep moving along, your government thank you for your cooperation.", an automated voice soon stated.
People old and young moved through the check point. Soldiers were all standing around with their rifles rested, as it looked they were ready to have a war. This would continue for quite some time, as a thick mist was coming around them. As this continued one child was with his parents who were walking with him to enter the bridge. Suddenly a bright light was flash as everyone in including the soldiers all looked at it. From part of the island a bright light which was tunneling upward toward to the boy look like strangle symbol into the sky. No one had a way to explain as they were speechless. The light was extremely bright but didn't hurt one's eyes as it enthralled everyone into its magnificence. To these normal people it was something completely unknown it would soon head directly toward holyhead which many had come from.
Mother, what is that?", the boy would soon ask.
Silence would engulf them then suddenly a rumbling. The ground began to shake where they were unable to keep his balance everyone began to panic as he noticed the soldiers moving quickly. The boy fell forward away from The Four Mile Bridge as everything shook. Putting his head down he soon screamed hard as they shaking didn't stop. Suddenly a great roar could be heard as the shaking became violent. Trying to hold on as he felt heat behind him unable to understand the sensation. It hurt it burned as he was on the ground crying then it all stopped. Looking up he soon saw people were running away and unable to understand it. Soldier were pointing the guns near him but didn't understood why.
"Mother? Father? Why are they doing that?", the boy asked to only hear a voice dark.
"I am not your parent, but I will send you to them", a dark voice stated as the man wore skulls on his armor and a great black sword in his hand.
Turning around the entire four mile bridge was no longer there. In fact behind this dark being which had two horns and red eyes things with bat wings were coming at them. The last thing the boy remember as he hears a crunch like sound and his vision fell to the ground. The monster cut off the child's head like it was nothing. Suddenly gun fire erupted toward him only for black flames to come up to engulf the soldiers.

Everything had been calm in the command tent, with all reports coming in it seemed everything was on schedule. Gwen was sitting on a chair staring at the screen which Tamara walked up to the other woman.
"What do you want?", Gwen soon asked as everything was fine.
Tamara soon took another chair soon sitting down next to the girl with a smile then says,"You know your quite interesting with your magic and blade."
Trying to make peace Gwen understood why Tamara was doing this it just made it even more unbearable.
"Look uhh Miss Asheborne was it?", Gwen soon stated to be interrupted, "Tamara, I sometimes don't like to be called that."
"Right Tamara, do you know why I want to kill Mathor? I'll tell you, my brother and I were close but neither of us were close to my father. We were both raised for the sole purpose of continuing our families legacy even though it's based on adultery and lust. You see our mentor he was the one who raised us both, in fact he was like a real father to me and Ben. Even though I am a descendant of Lancelot, I viewed myself more akin to someone who was techincally not originally apart of the old families. Losing him and my brother, it was like losing the only two things in my life..", Gwen soon stated which Tamara listened a bit as she bit her lip.
"Funny, isn't.", Tamara soon managed to speak.
"What is?", Gwen soon asked with suspicion.
Tamara soon began to collect her thoughts then finally reveals,"We both are not that different almost if we are the same. Born as direct lines of heroes and both losing what is dear to us. They were stolen, taken, ripped away in front of us and unable to do a thing. Conlincidial huh?"
Before Gwen could say anything suddenly the entire command system began to to on the fritz. Looking around mist began to pour all around the island, which got Gwen and Tamara up suddenly.
"Wait... isn't this?", Tamara soon stated as both of thrm realizing what was happening.
Both of them soon heard a thunderous sound which both ran outside to see a bright light heading toward the sky as both recognized a magical crest in the sky. It was ancient and far old magic as both could note.
"It's Mathor!! He must be activating the seal!! But why hasn't anyone reported in?!", Gwen soon thought as the light directly point toward holyhead.
The entire camp was frantic as suddenly none of the radios worked well and the wireless connection was not working properly toward the satellite feed. Quintin would soon run up to Dieter and the others soon stating,"We just lost contact with those on the ship's around the island as well we-",Quintin stated only for an explosion would rock from the distance as the only bridge that connected holy island fell into the sea.
Quintin look over there and then hearing fun shots breaking out from all over the island from a distance recognizing the sound his face was fully pale. His face finally understood why holy island and why they were here. It was a trap, to gain the camlann knights and their allies to the island and to finish them off. They had been had, and played by Mathor from the very beginning. As it could cost their very lives, now now the entire island was a pure warzone.

Gedeon noticed how they entered the airport without even anyone stopping them. Over the tv there was reports coming in as the media were covering the terrorist threat on holy island. Of course it was a cover still the media controlling the situation were quite good even if they were feed complete lies.
"Say, you do know even if we get on the plane we wouldn't make it in time. I mean the speed and how to get to the United Kingdom..", Gedeon was saying only for como to interrupt him,"Do not fret a friend of mine got a friend of his to pull strings with another friend who so happens to have a prototype."
Gedeon was baffled on what he just heard Como say which made him have a unique face. If Tamara was here to see it, it would be gold to her.
"What is that suppose to mean?! Also what prototype?!", Gedeon soon sounded.
Never the less the trio of elegant mafia boss, butler, and alien from another world. Entered a secret terminal which would lead them towards a secret hangar.

The two scholars were working with the soldiers in the tent in order to narrow down the possible locations, when they notice something was happening from a long distance away. The first out of the group to detect it would be the familiars in animal forms, being the ones with the closest relation to magic. Annie and Beatrice quickly zooms out of the tent to check out what's going on. This was followed by James and Kate, both with focus on actual usage of magic rather than combat, and were able to detect it just before the mist is formed.
"Master, Kate, looks like you two have detected it too."
"They're pretty bold with their tactics, not even trying to hide it."
"Hm... this is not natural mist."
Annie and Beatrice spoke for the first time in this trip, followed by a reply from their master. It's clear that the mist is caused by magic, the effect is unclear on first sight, but it's definitely not something that'll work to their benefit. From what it sounds like inside the tent, the mist disrupts electronics in some ways... doesn't this sound familiar now?
"James! We need to clear this somehow, the mist might help cover the existence of magic, but it'll give the fairies too much advantage in limiting the range of the soldiers!"
"I know I know, um... British... mist..."
A quick scroll of thoughts in his mind got him something, it's not something really powerful, but it'll work in this situation.
"Nameless spirit heed my orders! You who reside in the Fenland, controller of water! Come forth before me and follow my commands! Call Servant! Tiddy Mun!!"
With a quick set of spells, a small old man not much bigger than a toddler, appears by James' feet. The tiny old man wears a gray gown, and is like if you took a photo of a regular person and scaled him down to a tiny size.
"Tiddy Mun! Cast away the fog with your powers!"
The old man, Tiddy Mun, nods and looks at the sky where the mist covers. With a squeak that is similar to the call of a small bird, it uses powers that are unmatched but its size to force the mist to scatter. Tiddy Mun is an English bog spirit, one that is known to have powers over water and mist, perfect for this situation. If successful, this should make it a lot easier for the combatants to deal with the fairies with their firearms. After it finishes its job, it disappears into a small puddle of water, satisfied with what it had achieved.
"Mr. Gerhardt! Looks like the seal is to the North, they can't keep it hidden when it's giving off that much signal!"
It doesn't sound good inside the city with all those screaming and gunfire sound, and they would likely have to advance through it, it won't be easy to do. But hey, it'll be easier than charging through a battlefield filled with only combatants with firearms. Magic he can deal with somewhat, a bullet to the head not really. They do have an army with them, so it should be a lot easier than trying to do this with only a handful of people like back in Egypt.

As the mist poured in, the chaos began. Electronics began to fail, with the drones going haywire first, followed by radio and anything else that worked off of wireless communications. Despite some static interference, the wired machines in the camp still appeared functional, but it wasn't a sure bet that it'd remain that way for long. Reports began to pour in immediately over the radios, but every third word was reduced to garbled static as Quintin has realized first. It was hard to tell what was happening and where, but the gist of it was impossible to miss; the fairies had made their move and attacked on multiple fronts.
"The blockades report light skirmishing, but are holding, as best I can tell. Holyhead so far is secure, and the bridge-" Dieter began to comment on the situation in the south, but stopped abruptly. Over satellite feed they could see the bridge falling into the sea as some kind of magic-induced tremor ripped it into pieces and tossed them into the drink. The commander was quick to react. "-Is lost. We need to get those men out of there and get them to more advantageous positions."
With the radios being less-than-reliable that meant they needed another solution for how to get orders out. Fortunately, Gerhardt prepared for that. Magic and its effects on technology weren't new to them by now, so in these instances more archaic approaches showed their use. He walked out of the tent while James was carrying out his summoning. While being careful not to interrupt that, he took out and loaded a flare gun, aiming into the air and firing a white charge. It was a request for status updates.
Green flares from the two encampments blockading the island. Holding. Blue from the city, no contact yet. A red flare from the bridge. Under attack and losing. Around this time the mist was start to part a little from the bog spirit the professor had summoned, but they didn't need the fog out of the way to see the glowing rune hanging in the sky over Holyhead; looking as if it was painted there by a god's hand. "Verdammnt, professor! That's in the city!"
Probably the worst place it could be, other than the marshes. What were the odds? He cursed several more times while loading another flare and firing it towards the south. The group at the now-destroyed bridge were to fall back to a small village halfway between their current location and this camp, and hold there to establish a new perimeter. There was no point in defending that area with the road out destroyed, so pulling back would be more prudent. Luckily that group had the tanks, and he was pretty damn sure the fairies didn't have an easy counter to those. Even so he quickly dispatched a platoon of mechanized infantry to go reinforce them and help them to break out. Those helicopters he ordered had arrived before the fighting broke out, so things could proceed as he envisioned in that regard, at least. He was quick to keep operations moving despite the curve ball they had just been thrown.
"Quintin, get the choppers going. The seal looks to be either in, or very close, to Holyhead city. Mathor hasn't attacked it yet, we need to move now and get there first."
The groups assigned to be Airborne were already waiting at their rides, and the roar of many blades spinning into action soon drowned out the hectic chatter in the camp. It was a roughly equal mix of Knights and Lancers, because it would be unfair to keep these warriors from fighting to protect their homeland. How they fared in battle remains to be seen, but he was at least moderately confident after meeting Quintin. Dieter passed command off to a lieutenant after leaving some standing orders for an offensive defense. Mobile task forces based in their HQ here would sally out and aggressively flank and destroy any elements that sought to attack their other positions, constantly keeping them off balance and punishing them for any movements they make. Use of armored vehicles was now authorized as well. It was clear the Unseelie sought to try and trap them here and finish them off as well, meaning they both had the same idea. But Mathor had never dealt with the Lancers before, and would find them to be a lot more stern than your typical mortal. Each of them was worth at least three others.
Before heading out, the occultist made time for a few words of inspiration and direction. Gerhardt had to yell to be heard by the assembled forces, but his powerful voice carried well despite the noise.
"Here's how this will go: We'll be the first group in, with more arriving by land afterward. We'll hit them hard and relentlessly, and when reinforcements come we'll run them down like dogs. We have roughly 5,000 civilians in the combat zone, so mind your fire! Destroying Mathor's army and securing Morgan's seal are still our top priorities. Stay in groups, watch each other's backs, and keep contact with your CO's, radios should still work within 50 meters as long as the fog remains at bay. Be wary of glamors, but your squad magician should be able to protect you. Comrades, remember this as we march into the fires of battle once more: You're the best soldiers this world has ever known! And when we're done today, that will change to the best of many, when the shattered remnants of the Unseelie's warband carry back stories of our victory to Alfheimr and beyond! Now let's go, saddle up, schnell!"
It was a short speech, but as Pericles once said, "To the brave, a few words are as good as many". Dieter piled into one of the helicopters reserved for his personnel use after saying them, and Tamara, James, and anyone else would be riding with him as well. Within minutes they'd be en route to Holyhead. Even if they got there first, it'd be messy, that's for sure. But it was too late to move back now, too much was at stake. The forces already stationed in Holyhead would begin to dig in and prepare for a heavy assault as the first units on the scene, they'd have to hold out until Dieter and his troops arrived to support them. The advantage here was Mathor would have to deal with them before he could move around freely, so that should buy them the time they need to get into position. Theoretically, at least. Tiddy Mun dealing with the fog would also make this much better for the humans, allowing them to take full advantage of their guns, especially in the other parts of the island.
