'Of course... in a panopticon the idea is to be forever watching to keep the prisoners from trying anything. Its to keep prisoners in constant fear and wouldn't rebel. No one else ever escaped due to they did it alone... the best way is to...'
"Figures... they want people to keep separate but there something a way to get others in touch.", Achmetha then said which made this place more harder then it would be.
"Well I think we possibly can escape but only can work... if the entire prison breaks out at once. Our only issue is... are people willing or able to communicate with each other?", Achmetha said out loud then lies down in the bed in thought.
After a brief moment of thinking he soon says, "By the way the place we are at... its Iceland... its the only Island within the Absolute Kingdom of Avalon that has snow like this year round ever since the climate changed with the old war almost a century ago. Our only hope... is if my friends notice where they took me... if we could escape or a way to send a message... I know they will come."

"Iceland?" Duren said, surprised. He pondered that briefly, before realizing it fit and nodded slowly.
"Doesn't make it much better, you know. Big bases up there, protecting the northern flank of the Kingdom. Don't even know how we'd get off if we got out." He said, mirroring Achmetha's own troubling thoughts from earlier.
Then he addressed the other issues. "No one here is much too talkative. That gets beat out of you real fast. If the guards think you're up to something, you won't have a fun couple of weeks ahead."
"Possibility's there, all said and done. Bigger problem, the place is built like a fortress. Could probably keep an army out, let alone us in. Whoever made this place didn't skimp on anything."

"That is true... regardless I need to get out of here. Every minute is wasting my time... still even though I maybe impatient. I will figure a way out of here.", Achmetha soon said then felt a tad bit tired.
"Regardless I do not know what time it is... but after getting in a big fight with the guards has tired me. One thing I know for sure... even the guards are afraid of that warden the way they talked. That alone telling me not even they are trusted.", Achmetha soon said then promptly went to take a nap.

The mention of wasting time made Duren laugh. "That's an understatement, some of these guy's have been here for years. Tell them about a waste."
Duren continued to stare at the tower as Achmetha drifted off, deep in thought about a lot of things...

The next three weeks would teach Achmetha a new meaning of hell. He was forced to labor almost without pause in numerous mines below the prison, as well as factories housed in its interior. The Warden took a special interest in him, and made sure to give him extra hard assignments, and went out of his way to make the man from Ys as miserable as possible. Which probably wasn't hard to do, considering the dreary, cold conditions that the inmates experienced in Tartarus day after day. It became very clear why they called it that, now. Didn't help the food was terrible, basically gruel, and it felt like just enough to keep you alive on some days.
Indeed, days bled into weeks that then felt like years. It was hard to tell how long you were in here for without keeping a calendar, and the few people who did quickly abandoned the gesture: it just made things worse. It was easier to try and forget. With how long he was in for, Achmetha might start to feel the same too. Help never came, and it was really starting to look like it never would.
That's why it would probably catch his attention one evening when his and Duren's food tray was passed through the larger opening at the bottom of their cell's door. Usually they each got a bowl of stew, a cup of some kind of chocolate pudding that tasted like mud, a quart of water, and several saltine crackers the size of your fist. Something seemed off about their pudding today, it was a solid mass of ochre that didn't look like it had the consistency of any food he had ever seen before. This didn't appear to be a mistake on the chef's part, though; as under the bowl Achmetha could see the corner of a note.
If it was pulled out he'd notice it looked hastily written, and might just make him once again take heart that he might escape.
It read: Lost you at Odessa. Too much heat. Couldn't help in time. GIS at work. Iceland. Prison in mountains. Sent for help. Can't risk cover to do more. Pudding is plastique. Detonator is in the soup. Timed. 5 seconds. Use when you get the sign. Save until then.
- C.
Outside, a few hours earlier...
A single distress call would ping several times from the top of the prison. It was encrypted on the ERC's SOS frequency. It stopped just as abruptly as it began. The YiG operative who set it up just had to hope someone heard it in that small window...he couldn't risk trying for any longer.

Achmetha felt like it been years inside. Every day he would carve a line for each day. Though it felt like hell, in fact he mentally prepared himself the entire time... hoping beyond hope to try to convince people to escape. Alas even that didn't work within the first week he was given even extra work. A few times he tried to figure out how to escape and each time he failed. The coldness continue to be harsh as he was never used to it. Even though he suffered he continued to look around always remembering, and remembering how he got here. This was key... key to remember for future. As the time came pass, a week... two weeks... three weeks... it started to get to him. Maybe possibly Como's own requesting his rescue was denied? Of course there was a war waging outside these walls and possibly they couldn't spare men to do it. It began to dawn on him he may spent months or even years here if the war doesn't end soon.
On this particular day as he stayed at the ceiling soon he hears the normal clank sound of their food. Getting up he didn't like the taste, being so used to better food, even remember the meals he got on the Christen were better then this. On looking he soon notice the oddly shape. Which itself made me ponder just a moment as he picked up his plate he soon notice a note.
'This... this... is it!!'
Achmetha's hope was rekindled as he noticed what was inside.
'Of course... a custom made plastic explosive to hide the fact. Why have I forgotten about them from when they taught you if you lost all weapons!!'
Without even informing Duren yet he soon used his hand and put it in the food. This move would look odd to anyone thinking they lost it, as he soon grabbed it and cleaned it up taking out piece of his sheets and ripped it to clean the device. Looking around he soon looked at a crack on the wall deep enough to hide something between the bed and the wall. He soon began to move the bed trying to hide it.
Elsewhere... in Greenland
ERC, North American Union Greenland Special Forces Underwater base
"Sir we just picked up an ERC SOS signal sir!!", one of the operators soon said at their terminal.
"Hrmm from what point was it?", the Colonel soon asked.
"Uhh... it was only brief but it was... here!!", the officer reported.
"Iceland... but that is Avalon controlled waters..", the Colonel soon said.
To make sure it was noted the Colonel gave a report but within hours something caught him into a surprise later that day.
"So you detected a distress signal?", a man said wearing a blue uniform jumpsuit with no name or rank.
"Right... but why would a shrink-", the Colonel was saying til the man then replies, "Its Nick... Agent Nick of the USI."
"Same thing... a Shrink is a Shrink..", the Colonel replied.
"And a Marine is a Dickhead... still regardless are you positive it was ERC?", Agent Nick soon asked.
"Positive... though it was brief it was from our maps in Iceland... specifically here.", the officer from before soon reported which showed a map.
"See there is nothing there... and why there of all plac-", the Colonel soon was saying til Agent Nick looked at it closely then his eyes went wide.
"So it is true...", Agent Nick soon managed to say which caught the Colonel off guard.
"Eh? What is true?", the Colonel asked.
"Do not worry your lil dick head... just expect by tomorrow new orders will be received for your team.", the Agent soon said with a smile.
Soon he left the room with the Colonel fumed then says, "This is why I hate shrinks always getting us piss poor jobs to do!! I hate that man!!"
"But sir it at least keeps the team from doing stupid shit...", the Officer next to him muttered which the Colonel gave a death glare.
"I mean... er.... uh.... hehehehe?", the man soon said which soon the tomorrow was going to occur soon.
The Next Day
"So is the target there?", a voice soon said.
It was dark completely dark... wait why is it dark.
"Of course... my eyes are on target..", another voice soon said.
"Good good.. as long the Major doesn't see or hear about this all will be fine.", another notably male voice soon said.
"All is clear... I am going IN!!", the second voice soon said.
Suddenly one could see light... the man was in a vent. Oddly why a vent but he could hear laughing and some chatter. As the man who looked to be around 19 was going through the vent.
"Almost there!!", the man soon said on his radio.
"Just remember to BRING it when your done. If you do not the mission is ruined and it could cause a political shit storm!!", the first voice in the radio soon finished.
As he moved he soon found where his target will be, he began to unscrew a few screws with his multi tool silent. His 'weapon' to his side as soon used a string rope to lower the piece of vent down. Moving silent he jumped down through the hatch and into the room.
"Alright... all is clear..", the man soon said wear goggles and taking out his 'weapon'
"Good good... all is going well. Alright... moving towards target.", the man soon said preparing his weapon as he opened the door silent to put the 'gun' through the crack.
"Alright... what you see?", the man soon asked.
"Good... good... change the angle a bit? Oh alright bingo!!", the man soon said.
"I better be good because if I am caught it will be the end for me!!", the man whispered.
"Lets see... hrmm... note bad... I always knew it imagined it would looked like that. Hrmm turn it a bit more... lets see... an- OH SHIT ABORT ABORT ABORT!!", the man soon screamed in his ear piece only for the door to crash into him pushing him down.
"Well well... what do we have here.", a female voice but he defiantly knew it on instinct.
'Oh crap its the major!!'
Before the man a woman who was fully naked was in front of him, her red hair could be seen going down over her large bosom and well basically the man before him wished he could touch it.
"Well... looks like we got some peeping toms.", the woman before him who no doubly the Major soon said taking out her side arm aimed at the man's genitalia
"Uhh... Nice rack?", the man soon said for the man on the other side... of the radio only a scream could be heard.
Some time later... in briefing room
Two men were sitting on their chair with their heads down, one the man from before but his brown hair could be seen now. He has a few bruises on his cheeks but looked mostly in tact. Beside him a raven haired man looking no older then him sat next to him also looked like he suffered a beating from the woman before him.
"That is the almost the last straw!! Seven times now you broke the rules and only because your importance I can't do shit about either of you!! If I had my way I would have you imprisoned in the nearest frozen hell hole on earth!!", the woman who was the Major said out loud.
"But you can't Garnet!!", the man with black hair soon managed to say.
"Don't Garnet me, Johar!! Its Major your superior, leader of NAU's famed Diamondback!!", Garnet managed to say.
"Eh... come on Major... at least show pride your body is a view of all men would want.", Adlai managed to say.
"Dear god.... why do these brothers confounds me!! Is it your interest in annoying me to hell?", Garnet managed to say til another voice soon ranged out.
"My my... what a happy lil group we got here.", a man soon said with a smirk as he entered the room.
"I have no time for this!! I am busy teaching my squadron manners, as wel tempted to send them on a run butt naked in the snow. And you are?", Garnet soon demanded.
"Nick.. Agent Nick call me a charmer but you must use your... err... assets for the good of our nation. So do not take it harmful that these... uh... young men wished to see you. Regardless there is another way you can punish them. Want to know?", Agent Nick soon said trying to cool down the Major.
"Err.... fine... but what is it?", the Major soon said not trusting the shrink.
Soon the colonel also entered the briefing room which he dropped a thick folder on the table.
"A mission... all three of you leaving tonight. Though I had it my way I would rather go somewhere else. Alas... orders... are orders... *mutters* stupid shrinks*mutters* Regardless read up.", the Colonel soon said leaving the room still angered.
Agent Nick looked to have a smug on his face, which all three noticed. Garnet soon opened the folder which she began to read with her eyes going wide.
"So... Garnet... where we going?", Johar soon asked.
"Well at least I get some of my dream come true.", Garnet soon said dropping a folder in front of the two team mates.
Adlai and Johar soon looked which they both were taken aback.
"Great... just fucking great...", Adlai soon commented.
A Few Days Later
USS Tortoise
"So who are these guys we have to pick up again?", Adlai soon asked which he got a smack in the head.
"Uhh just some guy and... another guy?", Johar soon said which made both Adlai and Garnet cringe.
Soon the door opened which showed two men, one who looked to be in his thirties who showed his veteran vibe.
The Captain of the Tortoise soon entered as well with him saying, "This is Agent Carter and Second Lieutenant Victor Von Darnus of the Ys state. They will be joining us with this operation."
When they heard the name Victor Von Darnus all three stopped.
"Hey isn't this the-", Adlai was about to say but Garnet shut his mouth before he talked.
Before them was one of the most infamous Special Forces Operatives of the Ys State. A man who all rumors was a cold blooded killer, a man who massacred an entire town, and got his entire squadron killed in the process. Now called the Washed out bear but before known as the Fearless Bear of Germany.

At the prison
Duren figured Achmetha was just trying to keep himself from going insane from boredom, the cold, or both when he started eating his soup with his hands. It became clear to him there was more to it when he started moving around to mess with his bed. Sensing something was up, Duren finished his food quickly and pulled himself to his feet...and then strategically moved to place himself between his cellmate and the window, giving him a few seconds to do what he needed to do without the Warden, supposing he was watching, being able to see.
"You can thank me by telling me what you're planning." Duren said, as quick in getting to the point as ever. Once Achmetha was done he tossed his tray at the foot of the door for collection, and then moved to sit on his bed.
Aboard the Tortoise...
Carter stepped into the briefing room alongside Victor, though he was much less intimidating than the famed Bear himself. Wearing business casual attire, he didn't stand out much at all, but that was, of course, perfect for a man in intelligence. He nodded to the assembled NAU soldiers as he was introduced.
At first he didn't say anything, but decided to when he realized all of them were staring at Victor with apprehension. For that reason he decided to try and ease tensions here a bit.
"Good to be here, wish it was on better terms. As it turns out, though, we have a hell of an obstacle ahead of us." Carter said, taking off his hat and putting it down on the table next to the group.
"We have a few men trapped behind enemy lines, let's just say, and need some help to get them out. Only got one shot, so only the best will do." He then mention, wisely leaving out he was the one to blame for getting these guys sent to that mountain hellhole. If nothing else, Carter was very good at reading the atmosphere of a group, and picked up instantly that these people weren't happy about their jobs. So he was very content to let their CO take the fall for that.
Which is who he turned to. "I'll let you give the briefing and fill in any gaps at the end."
Having seen the folder on the table, he assumed the Major had a dossier wrote out for these guys and wouldn't steal her thunder. He also noticed right away she seemed...irked, and easy to provoke. Better to not get in the way of the warpath.

Achmetha soon sighed in relief once he put the plastic away and then turned to Duren himself.
"Well Duren it could be the soup was so good I wanted it keep some for later.", Achmetha soon said trying to keep it that guards wouldn't be hearing.
"As well its so well even Holes can be made in stomachs you get it?", Achmetha soon said moving his letter to Duren to read.
Achmetha wanted at least he would know... that lost hope was not over.
USS Tortoise
When Victor Von Darnus entered the room he noticed the three team mates were much younger then he. In fact its become a trend he noted when Lawrence and Marina came to the East as well. In a way it somewhat made sense, as time passes by the former grunts get higher rank or retired. Well the newer generation start doing all the grunt work. Still as it were part of him was dreading to take part in this operation and only reason 'he' was chosen was because his knowledge of Avalon in general.
'My past is catching up with me.... but I have to do this anyways they were on my watch and I let them down.'
Even though Marina was there was well she wished to come with them but due to orders. She was sent back to the Special Corps.' Barracuda Class YSS Despair to act as an backup forces if the operation goes bad. Though for a brief moment the YSS Despair had to go to Gibraltar for some reason to "pick up" some cargo that they were ordered. With Winter gone and Spring into full strength March itself was mostly over in fact that made Victor internally face palm at the name of the operation and the day they chosen it.
'Of all days to do it and to name it. Why that of all things?!'
The Operation was of course called Operation Saving Fool's Day, as well taking place on April 1st which was of course April Fools. The time Achmetha was inside was of course would be a month since his disappearance. Maybe it would make the ones in the prison look like fools in the end? He didn't know only he knew was not only he would be working with the Diamondbacks but also some of the YIG's own special operatives would be along with the ride.
'Sometimes... shrinks have their uses..'
As they sat down Victor noticed the three young special forces sat down a looked a bit nervous around him.
'Of course my name would become well known in all special forces circles. So them knowing they probably only heard the bad.'
When Carter soon broke the ice the operation briefing began. Soon after they read the files the leader the only woman soon speaks up.
"So... anything else you may want to add in?", the woman soon asked.

"Must have been some good soup, I'm envious." Duren said flatly, but then noticed the note and read it quickly himself.
His eyes widened, but only for a second, before he regained his composure again and nodded a single time, quickly.
"Guess we'll just have to wait and see if you feel alright." His cellmate said, taking the hint immediately.
Aboard the ship
Carter took a seat himself and let them run through the briefing until the end, and then nodded when asked to chime in. The YIG agent reached into a chest pocket of his vest and pulled out several maps, which he unfolded on the table between himself, Victor, and the other ERC personnel. The first one was a map of Iceland, but more detailed than their own. There was clearly something marked on the glacial mountains on the eastern section of the island. Down by the coast there seemed to be a military base, which made sense. Stranger was that there was apparently another installation up in the mountains themselves, an extremely remote and isolated one.
The other two maps were of the base itself and the mountain facility. The base looked like a standard Avalonian complex, not much to say there. The one up in the mountains, though, appeared to be a sprawling building in the shape of a giant torus, or donut, with a tower in the center. Not all of it was mapped, only a few sections of the internals, but most of the outside was marked down. The place had to be enormous. The only route up into the mountains was from one cable railway that climbed the slopes, and it was in that base.
"This down here is Höfn Base," Carter said and pointed to that area on the southern slopes, "its a decently sized Avalonian naval base. It wouldn't be too notable on its own if not for the fact it's the only way I found to get up into this facility in the mountains."
To illustrate what he meant, he pointed to the prison higher up. "It's a prison where they're holding our man, and a host of other political dissidents. The place is massive, about as big as a city on its own. If that wasn't enough it's heavily fortified and has its own security force with JMS. Entire wrap is top secret, no one's ever been known to get out before I got there. I can assure you that isn't easy, by the way, going up there in force will be harder."
"I made contact with our man on the inside, he should be able to help mix things up once we move out; he's extremely resourceful. That's about the only good news, along with the fact I managed to snag some blueprints while I could. I'd study them while you have the chance, it could be invaluable."
Carter pushed the maps over to the Diamondback's personnel now, letting them see it more clearly. The Prison was cut up into 4 wings, A-D. A seemed to be where the guards mostly lived and were equipped, as well as where new prisoners were dressed, screened, and generally broke in. It was on the southern edge of the prison towards the railway line. B and C were primarily encompassed by cell blocks and facilities for the prisoners such as dining rooms, showers, kitchens, and the like. D wing was where they were made to labor, it held some factories and mines, and was the least well mapped. In the center of the torus was a tower that Carter knew next to nothing about. Sprawling out from A wing was the O wing, which stood for 'outer'. It was an outcropping of additional buildings that new prisoners were run through, clinics for physicals, processing centers, holding cells, and the rail station itself.
"If anyone has any questions on this I can try to clear things up." The YIG operative offered, looking between the group.

With that Achemtha soon nodded right now, taking the note he began to tear it up bit by bit til the pieces were so small no one could piece it together again. With that Achmetha went towards the ground... and began doing push ups. With this knowledge he had to get his body and mind ready for the escape. He wondered through all this that they COULD escape, as he befriended Duren he learned this man wasn't bad at all. In fact he grew to like the man as he were and part of him wished he could do something not only for him but all the prisoners in the area. With such dissents he soon realizes they could be used, offer a chance of freedom by liberating them from here possibly put them to good use. A man willing to fight is better then a man forced to fight as it were in his mind.
"Say Duren... if given a chance... if you had one... what would you do if you managed to get out of here?", Achmetha soon asked.
USS Tortoise
"So one question this man your going for... how is he so important for us to mount an rescue unless there is something else your planning to do?", Johar soon asked and given the tune, suggested this also was an excuse to break out the other prisoners.
Adlai and Garnet's head soon moved when Johar asked that they too wondered about that. Was this an excuse to save one person to save the other prisoners? Possibly to gain more allies in Avalon in the fight against them?
Victor on the other hand already knew the truth, but he stayed silent. Waiting on Agent Carter to answer regardless of the circumstances he would save Achmetha at least. Well in his own mind if he doesn't it would lead to another list of failures and the younger man had grown on him. Almost like a little brother he had lost so long ago. Still the memories haunt him something else from Avalon kept his mind occupied, returning now would bring another issue all together.

The question surprised Duren, to the point he actually had to think a few seconds on how to answer. That was unusual, the man tended to be fast on his feet. He brought up a calloused hand to his chin, scratching at a cheek lightly for a couple of seconds.
"Been in for so long, I'm honestly not sure." Was his eventual admittance. "Get some real food, sleep in a real bed, start living again. That'd be step one. Living in here isn't living at all."
On the Tortoise
Carter folded his hands on the table in front of himself and looked between the assembled people.
"I'm a spook myself, you know. I could well tell you 'need to know basis only', and leave it at that." He mentioned coolly, leaning forward onto the table.
"I won't, however. Our person on the inside is important for a number of reasons, but it isn't the only objective. We need to send a message to Avalon that nowhere they have is safe, and that nothing is secret. This prison complex is a holding of the crown itself, I think giving the queen herself a good scare would go a long way to bringing this war to a close."
"Even if not, we'll be releasing a lot of troublemakers back into Avalonian society. The inroads that will provide us alone will be invaluable, saying nothing for the trouble it will cause amongst the home islands themselves." Carter finished, and spoken like a true spy. The plight of the people mattered little, just what benefits they could provide for the State. Of course, also like a spook, it was only a small fraction of the story. Achmetha was an important ace for them, for reasons the kid himself probably had yet to even realize.
The part he'd never mention himself was that he was fairly fond of the guy. Carter looked sidelong to Victor and gave him nod, realizing they were thinking the same thing when it came to the mechanic. As for Victor's own past in Avalon, that was a mystery even to himself.
Back at the prison...
The fledging conversation the two of them were about to have was promptly strangled in the cradle. If not by the metallic clicks and clanks of their door unlocking, then certainly by the thud of a heavy boot connecting with it and throwing it right open to slam against the stone wall with a sharp clang; thus revealing the uniformed silhouette of the Warden, and a handful of guards at his back.
"Rorke, Duren!" Bonavare exclaimed. This guy only seemed to have two expressions, a scowl when angry, and a derisive sneer when he thought he had the upper hand. At the moment, it was the latter.
"I hope you had a good meal, because it's time for the both of you to get started on your second shift." The prison's master continued. Usually you only had one long work shift per day, but as the pair quickly learned, the warden tended to single out people he didn't like for 'special' jobs that lasted throughout the night. Usually, these were especially grueling and typically pointless, other than to watch the chosen party suffer for his own amusement. Sometimes he'd do this for days at a time, until the poor bastards were about to collapse from exhaustion. It was part of how he kept anyone from trying anything funny.
"Get them out of there, they have a lot of ice scrapping to do!" Bonavare said to his troops and shoved two of them into the cell to get a move on. Both of them grabbed Achmetha and Duren and rolled both over, slapping cuffs on the both of them, and then dragging them to their feet.
"I can't remember, have I ever made you work outside at night before?" The warden asked, still sneering at the two of them while his guards started to push them down the cellblock's singular corridor. The warden, and the rest of his men, followed behind.
"Oh, I haven't, have I? Well, I hope you like -20 degree temperatures, because it's going to take you six hours at least to get done!"
It was going to be a long night....

As all three listen to the man it was likely he was telling the truth. With nothing else to say the Major soon sighed then says, "Well I guess this is how the plan will work. Now... the only issue will be... the actual defenses in the area."
Of course the plan to get in would pose a problem, the biggest hurdle is the actual getting to the top.
"I do hope you got a plan to get the guys out of there. We can easily handle any garrison forces pretty quick. I mean the units so far reported here are not even close to the specifications of ours and we got the moment of surprise. If you can get them out Agent Carter, we can hold out as long as you want.", the Major soon replied with a smile.
Achmetha
"The Meal Warden? My it was the best I ever had in my life.", Achmetha said sarcastically as the chatter with Duren was cut short.
With what he heard inwardly groaned at what that meant, which of course when he heard it was actually not surprising. When he heard what they were about to do he figured this man has no mercy... or something else.
As they were cuffed and prepared to get dragged out when the Warden said work at night Achmetha had to add in his own remark.
"At night? Oh last time you had me work at night was with your wife... or was it your girlfriend you lost?", Achmetha commented, expecting a kick or something he prepare himself to dodge an attack.

"The garrison at the base likely won't be expecting an attack this far north, it shouldn't be hard to subdue them. The prison will be another story, but I'm confident your group can manage that." Carter informed them.
"As for getting the people out of there, that shouldn't be a problem if all goes as planned. I'm ready to move out on that when your team is, Major. Take your time to prepare as needed." He then concluded.
At Tartarus
Duren shook his head at the terrible pun, and the guards groaned as well.
"Thought you said this guy was funny, Milt?" One complained. "Real comedian."
"I don't see any other standup here." The second replied.
"Eh...Well there's Jamis in Cellblo-"
"Quiet you knuckleheads!" The Warden said, replying as much to them as Achmetha. Noting he was tensed up to dodge, the guards leading him held him quite steadily and turned him around. He wouldn't be going anywhere as Bonavare slammed his fist into his stomach, hard, without being able to dodge. Equivalent to how a gang beating goes down, with one guy holding your hands behind your back while the rest let you have it. Not a fun position to be in.
"Maybe you'd better learn to keep your mouth shut while you're here, Rorke! Or not, makes it more fun to beat the compliance into you! I'd think you'd know the drill by now, but Mister Comedian just has to be the life of the party! Keep him moving." The Warden said and socked him a second time, then elbowed Duren hard in the ribs as well before the escort drug them along to keep moving. He shot the Warden a look to kill as they passed, seem his cellmate had a hell of a grudge against the guy.
The pair of them were taken out of Cellblock 6 and back onto the rail platform, where they were pushed into seats as the train sped off towards D wing. This time the railcar didn't take the usual path, but swerved left at a junction to follow another set of tracks that lead upwards, towards the glass ceiling itself. The train followed this path for about 15 minutes, where the top of this place was close enough you could actually touch it if you stood on the roof of the vehicle they were riding on, before again, the train passed through a security checkpoint and stopped there.
Several lockers were set up in this one, along with equipment to clean the ice off the side of the prison. The guards uncuffed the both of them and drew their sidearms to make sure they were kept in line. Then the Warden motioned to the lockers.
"Go get some tools and clothing, you have five minutes. If you aren't done by then, I'm still sending you out to freeze your asses off. Now hop to it, its your time you're burning."
Inside the lockers were thicker boots than the ones they were issued for inside use, some warm looking gloves, along with parkas and snow pants that went over their jumpsuits. The tools for this assignment looked like ice axes, but where those had one narrow point for sticking into mountainsides, these only had a single mattock-esque head for busting sheets of ice and pulling it off walls. They'd seen other people have to do it before, and it looked like hellish labor.
Duren rubbed his eyes in an unmistakable display of annoyance, before he left to get dressed for the job ahead.
If Achmetha wanted to look around he could see through a few windows on the far side of this checkpoint, apparently this station was above the rest of the building, probably an outcropping. It looked like he'd finally get to see what the outside of this place looked like.
Meanwhile Bonavare had his own side arm drawn, and was waiting for an excuse to use it on one of them.

"Well the best time is now... lets begin head over there before anyone detects us.", Garnet said which the Captain of the ship nodded.
With that the days counted by it was only three days away, which was April 1st before the operation was set to begin. With that everyone left the briefing room all going their separate ways as Victor was getting up Johar soon walked up to him then says, "Bear you better hope this doesn't fuck up. My team mates are what I have and if you let one of die I won't forgive you. Especially for a man who lost his entire squadron."
That alone made Adlai and Garnet tense, which Garnet was about to have a headache.
"Oh? I will keep that in mind.", Victor said with an serious face.
Just before Johar was about to say anything Adlai quickly moved in to stop anything.
"Guys guys!! We are all on same team here!! Just relax and lets go see some vids!! I got a back up you may like too Johar!!", Adlai was trying to say, which then Garnet gave a death glare toward him.
"Back up eh? I do hope it wasn't from prior Adlai.", Garnet said with a serious tone.
"Uhh... maybe?", Adlai was saying which he soon dodged something being thrown which hit Johar square in the face which he was knocked out cold.
Victor's eye brows raised for a moment and began to think how his own current team acts.
'Their just like Gaspar and Carmen... great why do I get the queer ones.'
With that Adlai picked up Johar and all three left the briefing room, leaving Victor to his own devices. Walking away he soon went through a hallway to one point he thought he was left alone. Making sure on one was about he soon took out a locket, likely a memento of some sort. Looking at it he was briefly tempted to open it but didn't.
"No... Victor, you have a mission to prepare for no time for your ghosts.", Victor said to himself he soon continued to his quarters, not noticing someone watching.
Achmetha
"Well.. *HUFF* you guys *HUFF* don't play *HUFF* Fair. *HUFF*", Achmetha managed to say as the men punched him.
Soon after they were done with him he soon was dragged to his next destination. Achmetha was starting to dislike the warden more then he should. When this is over he was seriously going to get some payback... maybe blackmail material if he had any.
As he was thrown in he heard what the Warden say and then replies, "You know shooting us won't solve problems. If you want the work done you wouldn't want to risk shooting us. Because if I remember correctly living prisoners to get work done is more value then all your prisoners dead."
He was soon promptly gotten ready, that smart ass remark would make anyone feel like he was tempting fate. At the same it forced him NOT to shoot him or look like he didn't care work didn't get done. Looking around as he got ready he noticed this position, which he of course continued to remember. Another place to keep tab on for his eventual escape. Soon he was fully ready to go and then says, "Alright... where is this work now?"

Carter was one of the first to exit the room, being he had a lot of prepare for and, arguably, one of the worst jobs to do here. He'd be going in on foot, at least until he could commandeer something on the ground. It wouldn't be fun at all, but his job never was. Still, he didn't get very far before he heard the exchange back from the way he came, and the agent pressed himself against the wall to listen in. It made him sigh internally, seems this wouldn't go as smoothly as he had hoped. The ERC was young, so distrust was to be expected...but even so, strife between their best pilots wouldn't be helping, especially on a mission like this.
When everyone exited they probably wouldn't even notice the operative was still there, and he tailed along after Victor when he went his separate way, noticing what he was doing, and said to himself.
"You going to be alright?" The agent said, finally announcing himself as he stood at the end of the hall from Victor, arms folded across his chest. In asking this, he was referring to what was said a few moments ago in the briefing room as well as as out here.
"Seems our allies aren't especially nice 'hosts', now are they? Could use some help on the ground once we reach the prison if you'd rather not stick around them." Carter offered. "Two sets of hands could do a lot more in there when it comes to breaking the kid out."
At Tartarus
Bonavare squinted at Achmetha, trying to determine if he was willingly being dumb, or if he literally didn't get what he was threatening him with. This guy was like a brick of mud.
"They're tazers, you dolt! I haven't shot anyone for real in a week! Say, maybe you'd like to change that?" The Warden threatened, patting a holster on the other side of his hip that held a real gun. The one he had out currently was another non-lethal type.
One of the guards, this one evidently named Milt, tried to change the subject quickly.
"The place you're going is right outside the door, now hurry up." He said, and lead the two of them back to the train car. In that time the rest of the guards dressed appropriately as well, seemed they be sticking around to keep order.
The door leading outside opened slowly after that was all said and done, and the moment it did, freezing cold air rushed into the place. Even with all the warm clothing the chill cut to the bone like a scalpel, and it only got worse when the vehicle resumed moving and took them outside along the roof of the prison itself. To the south, Achmetha could see the rest of the prison at long last. It was shaped like a giant donut, with a wide expansive glass roof. From out here he could notice that this place didn't seem to have been designed as a prison originally, since he could see a lot of renovations had apparently taken place over time. If he had ever asked Regina about them, he'd almost think this place resembled a space colony....but what would one be doing here of all places?
Regardless of why, the train carried them along the top of the building over to C block, where they came to a stop at last, only for the guards to motion them out onto the roof. It was snowing lightly, as it always seemed to. The heat from the colony's interior tended to make the snow melt, only to then freeze into ice as it slide over the side walls, creating huge icicles that reached as far as 20 feet. Which was another thing Achmetha would realize: Not only was this prison wide, it was also tall - at least a few stories. The ground was very far down, enough that you'd almost definitely die if you fell, even with snow to cushion the impact. The guards pulled out a pair of harnesses for each of them from the back car of the train and tossed them over, they had ropes attached around the sternum. The other end, the guards took and threaded through some islet scattered around the roof up here, probably for this very function.
"What you need to do is rappel down the side and scrape the ice off the outer wall, especially on the glass. I recommend knocking off the icicles first, then scrapping off whatever is left. That ice gets sharp enough to cut the rope if you don't, and you don't want a fall from up here." One of the guards said.
"I want this entire side of the prison spotless before you can go!" The Warden yelled out over the howling winds that were sometimes strong enough to almost push a man over. Which meant it'd likely be even worse when they hung over the side. There were a few other crews here working about 100 feet away from them, those guys were working on the interior half of the colony's wall. Duren and Achmetha got stuck with the much more arduous task of cleaning the exterior side, which was about 50% wider and much, much more exposed to the winds.
Yep, a long night indeed.
