As the railway continue through the tunnel til finally came to a stop. The beginning of transfer of the head then moved as it soon was being moved onto an ancient crane which begam to pick it up. During this more then the personnel were here. In fact the ones here to take the piece of God's Hand had a crew here in the process of transferring it away. During this would allow someone to begin to get out and go to a nearby crate which would make a good hiding place to get one's barring. Soon one would notice this underground dock and looked very old and only reinforced later. As one looks soon someone walked up to the nearby scientist, he was wearing full white robe with a cloak.
"Praetor Asarlaà it is good you can make it.", the scientist soon said as he shook the hooded man's face.
"I take everything has gone well?", Asarlaà soon asked.
"Oh course so far none of the Zalborians have noticed all these years, I here you went to the capital as well helping another of our members?", the man soon said fixating his glasses.
"Yes, after all I cannot let anyone know of our plans nor the Society within the Empire either. Everything is going on as planned though I heard the Emporer is planning to send one of his new pets over to the Far Kingdom. I would recommend to keep a watch for such, I hear he and his group are very good at what they do.", Asarlaà then said looking at God's hand.
"Of course we will increase security we cannot allow anyone else to interfere with our Project after all.", the Scientist soon said with a smile.
"Of course, to think this was hidden here all this time.", Asarlaà then stated looking up which soon the scientist soon left as the transfer continued this would continue for a while.
Asarlaà soon looked around then suddenly, he saw something behind a crate. He made himself look over there which he soon shrugged as he walked away towards another man with a rifle. Walking pass him he soon whispers, "We have a rat in the place."

The exchange that went on between the two people was watched closely, noting that the Empire was apparently as plagued with this group as their own nation. That raised quite a few questions, on if the Empire was manipulated as they were, or if they were working hand in hand? It'd certainly explain their aggressive stance towards Zalboria, they need to capture it to find those missing parts.
But all of that was something for someone else to figure out, primary objective now was leaving. Which just got a lot harder because he noticed that hooded fellow looking in his direction just a little too intently for his liking. With how heavily they were screening that empty train tunnel, he doubted they'd pass anything off as coincidence. Best to start moving now.
The moment the praetor looked away to go tell the guard, Mayze rolled off the side of the train car...and hid beneath it. It was a tight fit, but that made it all the more certain no one would think to look under there. Luckily with them moving the goods off this vehicle, they likely wouldn't be starting it up again anytime soon; that crane looked too delicate to risk damaging on top of that, saying nothing for the head. Without pausing he began to commando crawl down the tracks beneath the train, peeking up between the space between two cars to try and spot where the nearest boat here was and the route to it offering the most cover.

When Mayze moved that quickly if he had stayed he would of likely been noticed. Guards soon came with their semi automatic rifles around where he was looking.
"Where is he?", one of the guards soon said.
They began to look around to see where he was, of course now likely now know someone has infiltrated the facility they were even more high alert. Of course the benefit of Mayze was not being seen, and some might second guess what Asarlaà saw.

The fact that this worked so well would probably make him fist pump in triumph if there was room to do so. Probably for the best, anyway.
From his rather cramped hideout he'd go ahead and wait for the patrols to have all their attention focused on the crates, before crawling up and out of the track bed to get onto the floor of the dock itself. Knowing that would leave him exposed, he stayed in crouched posture and sprinted over towards the lifting machinery to hide behind the impressive bulk of the crane. Then he'd continue to push on towards the water line using any other concealment he could find.

This worked very well for quite some time but as soon as he got near the water line suddenly a bright light could be shown looking all over. Suddenly the bright light shined on him with someone shouting, "We got an intruder near the water line!!"
With that an alarm sounded and soldier headed towards his direction, with the point he was he could see an boat similar to use by the Empire in the sea. Unlike the other boats this was was not based on coal but rather gasoline. It sat on the dock with no one near it, they soon brought up their rifles and began firing towards Mayze.

For a second there, he almost thought he'd end up getting out of here without a fight.
What in the world was he thinking?
The light flickering onto his position blinded him for a second as he rose an arm to block out the beam. Realization hit him a split second later, and he was bolting for the ship pell-mell before the first soldier had his rifle trained on the dock yard. Rounds skipped off the pavement to his left and right as he moved in zig-zagging patterns to throw off their aim, and when he got to boat he lunged onto the deck and tumbled into the cabin. Once inside he threw the door closed and stayed kneeling down so they couldn't easily shoot him through the windows. The controls were examined quickly while doing this, it quickly dawning on him this was one of those new petrol boats. Fortune favored him today, these wouldn't require someone coaling them to get going or pick up speed. Maybe he had a chance after all.
He fired it up as fast as he could manage to do, which wasn't all that quickly since he was by no means a sailor. But these things weren't too complex, and once he had it going he peeked up over the windowsill momentarily to shoot the rope mooring the vessel clean through with one well placed bullet from his revolver. Then he threw it in reverse with that anchor no longer holding it to the port, eager to be rid of this place.

As the man soon moved the men continued firing, they were not going to let a spy through so easily. Quickly others began to run towards other boats and soon began ti give chase. As the Mayze may notice the underground cavern itself was large and extensive. The water ways were zig zagging through so it meant he had to no go too fast but at the same time he had to due to the enemy giving chase. As he would move he would notice various things like barrels on different parts of the way. This could have some benefits exception of possibly blowing himself up.

The constant ringing of bullets bouncing off the ship's hull pushed Mayze to drive faster than was probably safe, considering the winding nature of these tunnels. He hoped there weren't any dead ends here, or there'd be a hell of a lot of trouble ahead of him beyond what these guys on his trail were already bringing. The barrels along the route caught his eye, and he wondered what was in them that they'd leave them out here for.
Not very eager to find out the hard way, he maneuvered around him as he pushed the throttle harder. After bypassing the first obstacle, he'd wait for the first boat behind him to close up beside one of those barrels and then shoot that rather than the pilot. Maybe they were fuel of fuel and he could use it to get rid of these guys before they all started to make more problems that way.

The Explosion occurred with great force as one of the boats blew up with the barrel. Alas there was at least three more boats still on Mayze's tail. With more then one in the boats two of them were manning a machine gun trying to shoot at his boat. During this the next obstacle was in fact a blocked wooden way, forcing one to turn ride into the next tunnel. Overhead you could see ropes holding some other things above but if one could somehow loosen them could drop much things into the water.

Mayze noted both the machine gun turning towards him and the barricade ahead and roughly the same moment. Which, suffice to say, did not make him very happy. A brief glance upwards at the rigging overhead gave him some ideas...
Firstly, he waited until the last minute before turning sharply and speeding down the closest pathway. The swift motion was enough to throw off the gunner's aim and send most of those bullets flying into nothing but empty water. The few that still landed made unsettling bangs as metal dented or was perforated by large caliber slugs. However, his plan was that the driver of that boat would be too focused on him and the barrier to notice him aiming and shooting those ropes right before turning the corner; dropping whatever they were holding aloft right in front of the trio of pursing vessels. Even if they didn't get hit by these, they'd need to swerve out of the way to dodge them and risk hitting the barrier or wall, and would definitely lose speed either way.
The exile, meanwhile, sped up as his agile craft raced through the subterranean rivers at unsafe velocity.

The boats continued to give chase only for the one of the boats being hit one of the boats smash into a wall forcing to stop give chase. The other two boats managed to dodge but as well was still on his tail. As he would exit out of one section one now would notice a large cavern it lead to two seperate directions both could be considered exits so he had to choose which one.

"One down, two to go." Mayze muttered to himself, barely audible over the roar of three engines as the trio of boats plowed through the water. Upon noticing the fork in the path up ahead, he veered to the left and decided to try his luck with that tunnel.
Everyone always goes right when given a chance, so he figured he might as well tempt fate and take the path less traveled.

When taking the left would be considered the old part of the tunnels hardly used. It would be apparrant as one would pass the lights in the cavern soon evnetually disappeared into the darkness. Which meant if going too fast it would be a near disaster if you crashed wrong. In many truth there was zig zag tunnel with various obstacles that would break a boat. The other two chasing would have put in their search lights but also slowed down. He had to choose either go with a light and they know where he is or not. The path would into into pitch darkness.

The darkness of the tunnel was rather unnerving to someone who had only sailed about three times in his life prior to this. That said, it would make escaping a lot easier, and for that reason he decided to forgo using a light of his own and instead cutting speed to stay hidden in the inky blackness of the cave. All the obstacles here gave him an idea that was much better suited to his non-naval aptitudes than trying to rush through this death trap and lure these guys into a wreck.
He stayed just out of range of their search lights, and then took a sharp turn around a large outcropping of rock that jutted out from the cave's wall. Then he immediately killed the engine and waited. The idea was that they'd speed right past him and continue down this tunnel, thinking he was in the lead. With the narrow space making engine noise echo atrocriously, it'd be almost impossible to tell his own engine had been silenced while theirs continued to reverberate just as loudly to mask the absence. As well, with their lights still facing forward, and with no light on his own ship, it was likely they'd pass right by and not see him.

And that is exactly what the two other boats did, they continued to move in a bit slower then before but didn't notice Mayze's boat that he managed to hide.
